I guess we have a syndrome of excessive expectations... we've been trying to get here for 3 years in a row (we come to Minsk once or twice a year, we tried to book 1 week in advance, there are always no places), we were waiting for something Wow. Bottom line: no one liked the kitchen (there were 8 people - about 12-15 dishes) somehow it so happened that not a single dish went in at all. The service is also strange, the waiters look like rabble, from high, but they advise completely. There is little room in the restaurant. In general, it's not our institution, apparently.

It's a very popular place, which has a whole quest to get to, but I still managed.
A very polite girl at the entrance meets and takes things to the wardrobe. Then you go down to the hall itself.
The atmosphere in the hall is ordinary, I can't say that there is anything special. At first it seemed that I went to someone's anniversary party 🤭
The service is pleasant, polite, the waiters know the menu well.
On food:
— the much-vaunted tartar from the moose turned out to be ordinary, I would not have returned for it. I love tartar and try it everywhere. This one is far from the best, on solid 3, but it looks better than it tastes
— the cutlets from the Braslav pike are delicious and juicy. The sauce for them is sour and strongly mayonnaise, left on the plate. The potato pillow on which the cutlets were lying is too complicated, greasy, just mashed potatoes with onions would be tastier at times. The portion itself is large, you can take it for two. On 4 (because of the sour sauce and potatoes)
— beef tongue with Polesie mushroom mousse is delicious, here is a solid 5
— the tinctures are delicious, the serving is pretty, definitely the best that we tried in Minsk.
To sum up, I want to say that the game was not worth the candle and it is possible to eat more delicious at times in the same Litvinas (and cheaper). But for show, it's worth going, maybe.

It was a very cozy place, they let me in with a dog (corgi), and offered me a bowl of water. The food is worth separate words - borscht with bacon and black bread and draniki with mushrooms - it's incredibly delicious! The staff is polite, friendly, we really enjoyed it here!

Upon arrival, I was strictly told to leave my clothes upstairs and then the receptionist would be able to talk to me. I undressed, waited 10 minutes, and the receptionist sternly told me that it was not possible to move the reservation in any way.
3 attempt 2 already on the 31st, in short, they disrupted the New Year's Eve late lunch, early dinner. The strict administrator again. The impression left was that there was some kind of schadenfreude, no other way.
4 bottom line - I spat and went to the next door, the restaurant Names. They literally pulled a table out of the back room for my family and fed it. It's delicious there, and the dumplings lost 700 Belarusian rubles in 1 hour of time.
And yet, as a result, I tasted delicious Belarusian cuisine in simple restaurants like Cornflowers - the waiters and administrators are well-trained and friendly.
The recommendation to the owner is to expel the administrator or teach him how to communicate with the guests. (for 10 years I worked as a manager and deputy director in top restaurants in Moscow, I know that you can refuse so that the client does not feel upset, but in general, I always dodged and found places for guests. And even more so on important dates, he sat down as he pleased - at the bar, with a time limit, even rolled out additional tables from the back room)

Compared to all establishments, Bulbashi is the top one to visit in Minsk! National cuisine in addition with interesting combinations, unusual shapes and excellent service.
We came from St. Petersburg, the prices were very pleased. The check is 20-30 percent lower than in identical establishments here. They receive a great recommendation from themselves: pate, borscht, potato porridge.
If you couldn't book the first time, be sure to try calling again or leave your number to the administrator. We got a call back a couple of hours after the first time and were able to book a table.

Bulbashi is among many other restaurants in the historical part of Minsk. I was attracted by the concept that you can only book a table for two hours, i.e. the place should be in demand. We booked a table and were delighted with literally everything! The waiters know the menu thoroughly. They talk about the composition of the dishes, advise what to choose. In parallel with the cooking process, they tell the story of the opening of the restaurant, its decor, in general, they do not let you get bored. Another interesting concept is live communication, there is no wi-fi in the restaurant. Based on the fact that the cooking time is also set at two o'clock, the dishes were brought quickly. Amazing snacks - eclairs with trout and baskets with herring. My son really liked the ear. Duck leg with mashed apples and mushroom soup, which my wife and I ordered, also did not disappoint (special thanks to the Chef). The set of tinctures was exactly a set of tinctures, everyone had individual tastes, drank softly, I wanted to savor. I would especially like to note the teamwork - there was a banquet at the next table, they left about 5 minutes before the next landing at their table. Several guys / girls flew out, some wipe the table from bottom to top, others lay out napkins, appliances, followed by glasses, and all this is clearly, on the machine, almost to a centimeter, with a verified distance between serving items. It was worth seeing! In general, the perfect place for a quiet family evening, thanks again for the reception!

This is our favorite restaurant in Minsk.
If you want to have a delicious lunch in the national and not only cuisine, this is the option!
Yes, there may be questions about the time of serving dishes (boarding there is almost always full at lunch), but otherwise... Even by us, who are experienced in various very good restaurants, this place is considered one of the best, at least for lunch. Very friendly waiters, the dishes are beyond praise! We recommend an appetizer of Boletus, mushroom soup, venison tartare (this actually surprised me very much!!! Very tasty and decent!) and of course, branded tinctures!. Don't rush to order a lot of dishes, as the portions are large, and the waiters are great at talking about it! In general, the rating is excellent!!! I recommend it!!!

A group of aunts who decided to find out something about Oriental coffee sent him to other places in almost direct text.
The draniki were successful.
They don't know how to cook meat here at all. Even after the suvida, it was clear how hard life was for the beef that got to them. The only thing worse was the lamb, which could not be cut (they did not dare to chew).
There were no questions about why the food was left on the plates. This seems to happen quite often.
Among the bonuses: the dirtiest windows, the same toilets.
But, in general, yes, an hour was definitely enough for us))

It was 09/20/24. I really liked it. The prices are restaurant prices, but the portions are Caucasian, huge. We took a salad with pears for two (I recommend it), I ordered borscht for myself (regular), I liked the serving with bacon, croutons, sour cream, garlic and green onions. I also ordered venison dumplings: the presentation is beautiful, the taste is for an amateur, the sweet sauce, in my opinion, does not match. My wife ordered beef pancakes (well, very tasty!!!), in a serving of 3 large pancakes, we ate for two. The service is at the best level: the waiter brought the menu, introduced herself, offered help in choosing dishes, warned that the portions were large, offered additional plates to share the dish for two, told about the dish. The only drawback is high alcohol prices: the cheapest dry white wine is 500 Russian rubles/ glass

One of my 2 most favorite restaurants in Minsk. I've been here 5 times in the last year.
It is very, unrealistically delicious - dishes of Belarusian cuisine with sophistication, but hearty and large portions + excellent liqueurs and desserts.
Stylish atmosphere, soft pleasant music. It is best to book in advance.

Very tasty food! It's just very tasty. I haven't eaten so delicious in cafes and restaurants for a long time, to be honest. I was in Minsk for the first time, I specially chose a restaurant of Belarusian cuisine and did not regret that I chose this one - I liked the modern serving of dishes from the photo, unlike other well-known more "traditional" restaurants in the city. In reality, everything was confirmed - the truth is both very beautiful and very tasty.
Borscht is excellent, even perfect.
Draniki are the best draniki in my life. Not oily, not greasy, but very tender.
Sea buckthorn glazed cheeses are also super - not cloying, with an interesting sea buckthorn sourness, not dense, but similar in structure to a souffle.
The portions are very generous! Draniki, for example, in one serving - 3 large pieces. But they are so delicious that it is impossible to stop.
The service is friendly, courteous, fast, attentive. It was a little embarrassing that the waiter constantly addressed me as "girl". As for me, either by name, or better without addressing and just using "you". But I forgive it)). But in general, the communication was pleasant and polite.
All the dishes were brought very quickly, there was no need to get bored and wait at all.
There's also great coffee, by the way.
A pleasant stylish interior (I was passing through there after six months of living in central Europe, where such interiors in restaurants are super-duper chic and luxury, so I was especially impressed with the interior and table setting, since I just haven't been to such places for a long time).
The glasses and glasses that are used also attracted attention - this is local crystal, as far as I understand. Stunningly beautiful and very original, they look modern. I even wanted to buy the same ones at home. It is respected that the products of local handicrafts are appreciated and used.
I'm already dreaming of going back and trying other items from the menu!
