I've probably been there 5 or 6 times already and it's still interesting! You need to know the history of your country and appreciate peacetime. It is very informative for children and a serious lesson for them that war is scary!

A place of strength, of memory, it is impossible to be without tears! Thanks a lot! Everyone must be present! Feelings and emotions are overwhelming! I've been there twice and I'll be back, our story, our EVERYTHING! It is incredibly pleasant to see how schoolchildren are brought, the younger generations should see and know and remember! 🙏🏻

The best museum of the Second World War, very impressive ! A huge number of documents and exhibits have been collected! We took an audio guide , which is always very convenient . We are deeply impressed by the exploits of the Soviet people and their heroism ! And looking at the photos and documents of what the fascists did, you understand: you can never forget this! … I bow low to all the people who created this grandiose museum, did a herculean job of collecting all the submitted documents, your work is invaluable, thank you!

A good museum of the Great Patriotic War. There are many interesting exhibits. You can visit individually, or with an excursion, it will be more interesting when the guide settles everything. There is a beautiful park nearby.

A wonderful museum. There are many interesting exhibits. A beautiful and solemn Victory Hall. The hall with the exposition about the partisans is impressive. The child is delighted with the forest school and the German forest machine. The guide Anatoly was fascinated by history, he wanted to learn even more about the liberation of Belarus and much more.

She visited the museum in March 2024. The exposition is arranged in chronological order and is well structured.Original documents, belongings, awards, weapons. The exhibition of equipment is impressive. A separate segment is the exhibition of the artist Savitsky, with paintings dedicated to the war.The museum is located on several levels and ends at the top with the Hall of Fame, where the names of the war heroes are listed. It is clear that a lot of work has been done. You can take thematic excursions in the museum, you can go on your own. I plan to visit this museum with my children. I recommend.

A museum that every person who respects their ancestors who accomplished such a feat should visit. Those who defeated fascism and survived the horror of the war. Amazing expositions. Guides who know the history perfectly well. The story needs to be shown and told, especially to young people. And then much of what is happening today will be clearer and clearer.

A wonderful museum of the Second World War, with a very large exposition. The first time we arrived early and took audio guides: these are portable players where guides tell you about the exhibits of each hall, with details and details. It took us 4 hours to walk through the entire museum from beginning to end with an audio guide and stops at video projections. It was very informative, although physically difficult. However, at least once, it is necessary to take such an excursion. You will learn a lot of things that you were not told at school and you will have a more complete picture of the events of the war.

Excellent exposure. A lot of equipment, layouts, documents. It will be interesting for both children and adults. Everyone will find something of their own. The staff in the halls of the museum are friendly and try to answer all questions in detail. The cost of admission is insignificant, compared to the museum itself. It is strongly recommended to make a mandatory visit to Minsk.

A huge museum with a gorgeous exposition. Everything stands side by side right inside the museum. Tank, guns, diagram. A very interesting exposition of the artist's paintings on the military theme. You can go without an excursion, everything is clear and takes your soul. My daughter is 8 years old, she was delighted.

The museum is very beautiful, it can be seen from afar. We took a guided tour, they told us so interesting that tears appeared in our eyes. Impressive dioramas with scenes of heavy fighting, equipment (airplanes, Katyusha)- all this is presented in the museum. I recommend visiting it in front of the Brest fortress and Khatyn.

The museum is imbued with the spirit of patriotism, memory of the terrible events of the Second World War, heroism and exploits of ordinary people who stood up for the defense of the country. The exhibits are impressive, most of them are authentic. The museum is large and spacious. Thanks to well-placed expositions and transitions between halls and floors, you can move unnoticed through the history of the war. I recommend a group tour, you will go around the entire museum in an hour and hear important and interesting points about the exhibits, and if you wish, you can return and examine them in detail again.

An incredibly cool museum, large, spacious, a lot of exhibits, there are organized excursions. In Belarus, in general, everyone is doing well - the theme of war is everywhere, it feels like people honor and remember every moment and this is the biggest tragedy for the people and it's incredible..... I definitely recommend visiting the museum.

What can I say, this is the darkest museum of the Second World War that I have seen. I especially remember the paintings (I don't remember the artist). I definitely recommend this place, but be prepared that the mood may be quite sad and depressed after visiting. About the war, after all...

A very large and beautiful museum, a must-visit. The presence of real tanks, cars, weapons will not leave indifferent either a child or an adult. Next to the museum there is a majestic monument to the motherland and several smaller monuments. The square and the museum itself make an indelible impression.

I've been wanting to visit the renovated museum for a long time, but I still can't. And now it finally happened. A big plus is that there is a parking lot. I liked the museum itself. Different compositions divided by type. There are sounds and even a peculiar smell. For example, where the tanks smell of oil or fuel oil, in the house there is the smell of a stove. Different impressions, realistic mannequins. Recommend.

I really liked this museum. Before that, I was in the WWII Museum in Volgograd, so this one is even better, there are tanks and airplanes, a huge number of WWII objects, even a drill of that time. The subjects are very well arranged in the halls, each has its own theme: one is all about the partisans, the other is all about medicine, the third is about weapons, and so on. It gives me goosebumps. Definitely welcome to everyone who will be in Minsk. We did not take a guide and did not regret it, because the group with the tour, in my opinion, passed through the museum too quickly, the tour started 20 minutes after we entered, in the end they caught up with us and beat us)))

The museum is worth a visit. There is one story for any age. And here everything is described as clearly as possible from the beginning of the Great Patriotic War to its completion. A large number of halls and exhibitions. You will make a very identifying journey. At the end is the hall of our internationalist warriors in various countries of the world. The museum opens at 10:00 There is a park nearby where you can take a leisurely walk

It's a great museum from all the others I've seen before. Talking about the museum, one cannot do without the word "the" Largest - five floors of equipment, exhibits, copies and originals of documents, realistically created compositions. The most interactive - each hall is equipped with video panels on which text documents (not included in the full-scale exhibition) and video documents are shown. The most professional guides. Thanks!

I was there recently-the first few minutes were not impressive, but the further into the forest the thicker the partisans!))) I really liked it, there is a lot to see, a lot of equipment. I regretted that I did not take a guide, listened to the tour of another group out of the corner of my ear- it was very interesting! Must-visit

I really liked the museum. The exhibits are selected correctly, according to the theme. Real equipment, spacious halls. I stopped for a long time at the picture of the "day of the war" when the enemy entered the village / town. Everyone does something different - who runs, who resists, who tries to evacuate people, and a wounded person from the Jewish people performs the last rite over the deceased (probably a brother). It will take a long time to tell, you will be in Minsk (as I have been for several days), come here, at least for an hour. You will find your own.

The modern museum of the history of the Great Patriotic War, there are also types of weapons and life-size models of tanks, interactive stands, military uniforms, medals. The atmosphere of the museum conveys all the horror of that time from the fascist genocide in the occupied territory of Belarus. The museum is not boring, understandable and accessible to children and adults.

We visited the museum, the impressions are twofold. It is clear that the materials were collected from the heart, the guide was rather weak, and only memorized phrases sounded. Two things struck me unpleasantly: 1. The absence of any significant references to Rokossovsky. And Operation Bagration to liberate Belarus is in many ways his brainchild. There is not even a banal bust. 2. Among the hero cities, many are missing, there are only Murmansk and Novorossiysk. Apparently, Leningrad, Moscow, and Stalingrad did not deserve this. In general, this is most likely a museum of the history of the Great Patriotic War on the territory of Belarus and no more.
