The best museum of the Great Patriotic War that I have seen. The exhibits presented are real equipment, not dummies. Everything is very logically thought out: the hall of the partisan movement, the hall of the genocide of the Belarusian people, etc. And the victory hall is magnificent - stained glass windows, sunshine, joy!!!!!

Музей хороший, таких не много, если не единицы. Красное знамя гордо развивается на куполе. Экспонатов очень много. Цена за вход приемлимая. Сувениры есть и не дорогие. Но... В каждом зале есть женщина-сотрудник, она же "соглядатай", чтобы кто-нибудь куда-нибудь что-нибудь не утащил. Тематических стендов бесчисленное количество, люди смотрят и даже не представляют, что за каждым экспонатом судьба человека, а порою и его жизнь, многие жизни. Но пусть бы сотрудник подходил бы к людям, рассказывал, а не просто был надсмотрщиком, с нее не убудет, а экскурсию заказывать на двух-трех человек дорого. А так в остальном молодцы.

An amazing museum. For 3 years now, every 9th of May we go there with the whole family. Huge halls with various equipment and weapons. Excerpts from the life of that time are clearly shown. The big plane is not in the backyard. These are the kind of museums you want to go to. It makes learning history easier and more interesting.

Были с дочерью. Место обязательное к посещению в Минске, однозначно. Парковка на дублёре и маленькая, но нам повезло и было место. От неё до музея идти минут 10...указаталей по направлению ко входу нет. Выставки техники на улице нет. Сам музей построен в виде винтового подъема и залов на уровнях. Выставлена техника, оружие, созданы полномасштабные макеты с ростовыми манекенами наших солдат. Часть экспозиции в залах я приковал дочери глаза : по геноцид народа Белоруси от фашистов, даже мне было страшно смотреть. Апофеоз это купол. Нам повезло и был солнечный день. Эффект 100 из 100. На улице красивый фонтан и оригинальные металлические конструкции музея. Хотел снять звезду за совковый персонал, в худшем смысле этого слова, но не стал из-за содержания музея.

We Minsk residents thought for a long time whether to go, since the theme of the museum is heavy, plus we thought that there would be more helmets of all kinds, shoulder straps and everything, but no, what is there only a hall with partisan huts or a huge hall with a large number of equipment and airplanes under the roof!I'm a girl and it was very interesting to me, I stayed here then, to my surprise, for 4 hours!!!I liked the screen where you could watch short films from about 1190-20 in the old regions, especially the Vilna region, there is a video about horse performances, and of course you can see your own city Minsk, filmed more than 100 years ago, with retro cars on Lenin Square and at the opera house, it's worth a lot, the architect is very talented and the embodiment is super. The price is quite symbolic, it is a pity that there is no modern advertising of the museum, because people all think that there is little to see, you need to advertise this hall with equipment, it is very impressive. And it would also be great to make a cafe with some kind of guerrilla cuisine and Belarusian folk, because you get very tired, you want to eat hot afterwards. Success and prosperity. Во всех городах посещаем музеи, посвящённые Великой Отечественной войне (безусловно, там, где они есть). Но это прям впечатлил, очень сильная экспозиция. Необычная расстановка, пока это единственный, в котором во внутренней экспозиции есть танки в настоящую величину. Привычнее их видеть на внешней экспозиции.
Потрясающе вписаны в экспозицию картины, до мурашек.
Обязательно к посещению, чтобы этот ужас не повторился.

One of the best museums of the Great Patriotic War.
I went there on weekdays in the morning, at first my wife and I were alone and the museum was empty. But a couple of hours later, a lot of people came. As in the Hermitage in St. Petersburg.
It was very pleasant that so many people visit such iconic and important places for our peoples.
A very fascinating exhibition, it makes you stop at each exhibit and think. While visiting some corners of the halls, I was overwhelmed with emotions, I had to hold back tears.

Прекрасный музей + отличные экскурсии. Экспозиции впечатляют, есть интерактивные фишки. Купили 2 билета с экскурсией (1 взр+ 1 реб) в пределах 1000 росс. рублей. Экскурсовод Ксения рассказывает увлечённо, без запинок, ярко и красочно, и в то же время точно, с фактами. Посетителей много, но давки нет. Молодцы, спасибо работникам музея

+ Большая экспозиция, хорошо обустроенное современное здание, тематические залы. На экскурсию нужно договариваться заранее, но это нормально.
- Аудиогид. В таком классном, интересном музее и сделать ну настолько убогий аудиогид, это просто обидно. Заунывный голос это еще полбеды, но настолько непродуманно составлен сам текст - куча дат и подробностей, которые занимают уйму времени в записи и совершенно не откладываются в памяти. Мне кажется, если включать аудиогид около каждой таблички, где он указан, то посещение музей выльется в сутки-двое. Будьте готовы, что размерный мужской голос нагундосит вам в наушник сколько тонн может увезти каждая из встреченных машин и прочие не менее животрепещущие факты. В общем, в плане аудиогида работникам явно стоит поучиться у тех же коллег из Несвижского замка - там аудиогид выше всяких похвал.

I did not like the behavior of the attendants in the hall, because they were with the child and had to take him to the sofa, he was tired and wanted to sit and relax. We walked for two hours. Therefore, the two halls passed very quickly. While the child was resting, I decided to return to the gym. But they forced me to leave an empty hall, they said there was only an exit, and to start watching, you need to start everything from the first floor (we were on the third), go through all the halls and enter this hall. We were shocked, after walking through 8 halls and two hours, did not look at anything else, turned around and just left. We have been to the Hermitage more than once, there was no such thing.
