The location is within walking distance from the Upper Town, the main historical landmark; opposite Victory Park and a 10-minute walk to the metro.

The hotel is old, but clean. But here everything is the old-fashioned way. Nothing has changed since the Soviet era. There is no kettle in the room, and breakfast is also not offered. The water in the cooler is stagnant. I read the reviews, I didn't understand where the buffet breakfasts came from? To stroke, you need to go down to the reception on the first floor, take the key, then go up to the fourth, stroke there. And if it's a business trip? Running like that every day? The TV has a bad signal, the refrigerator did not work. The back wall was slightly cooled, and when asked to change it, we were told that everyone was like that. The ground floors have only been changed so far. You can stay for one day. No more.

Three, but no worse than three in Prague or in another European city. Although the renovation is not the freshest, but everything is clean and it is quite pleasant to live. The room has air conditioning (controlled from a unit on the wall, so you have to get up to turn it on or set it up), a small refrigerator, which is very good, a TV, a hair dryer, soap and shampoo in individual packaging.
There is not enough kettle, well, there is also a normal metal spoon for shoes, which is designed to be used not sitting, as there is nowhere to sit down and put on shoes, but standing.
The hotel is located twelve to fifteen minutes drive from the railway station. Bus route 1, 69 , and one and a half stops from Nemiga metro station. You will have to walk 250-400 meters from the bus stops to the hotel itself. If you are traveling from the center, it is better to get off at Stella's. Five hundred meters away is a large shopping center, which has a good supermarket, a food court and a restaurant "Cornflowers", where there is a large selection of national dishes and very reasonable prices.
The reception is open around the clock, accepts Mir cards and cash of the Republic of Belarus.
The building is located on a small hill, so the windows offer excellent panoramic views of the city.

We stayed at the hotel for one night, several families. The rooms were given close to each other, on the same floor, decorated very quickly, settled immediately. The only thing was that there were no large rooms, I can't say for sure at that time or in principle there were none, but our family of four had to take two rooms. You can pay with a MIR card without any problems. We did not change the money, we paid with this card absolutely everywhere. The rooms are clean, there is a minimum bathroom set, clean towels. There is a cooler on the floor. I was amused by the size of the keyring to the room key, apparently, so that there would definitely be no temptation to carry it away))
The location of the hotel is more than good: near the museum and Victory Park, an observation deck, shopping centers, etc. By the way, if you want to eat delicious food, then you go to the Cornflowers, as you leave the hotel, go right to the shopping center, there you will find it on the third floor)
Chocolate and other goodies in the company store, which is almost three times more expensive near the hotel.
I recommend the hotel, the price and quality match. In mid-July, a double room cost 3,600 per night without breakfast. You can find it cheaper, but we decided to stay in the very center.
By the way, they offer an excursion on the ground floor, you can safely take it, their price is not too high.

I stayed in the Planet from June 15 to June 16, 24. I gave it three stars, since the hotel has three stars, it does not pull for more. In principle, I can't say anything bad, a budget hotel in the center of Minsk. My single room on the 8th floor is clean, the water is hot and cold from the tap, the bed is hard, the pillow is small, the view from the window to Victory Park is excellent.
The Planeta Hotel has a buffet breakfast costing 27 BL/rubles. To be honest, I didn't really like the breakfast, the cappuccino was sour, the rice porridge and oatmeal were sooo thick, the chicken sausages, the omelet were delicious and the hot sandwiches. The photo shows a night view from the window of Victory Park.

The location of the hotel is magnificent: close to the city center, and at the same time excellent by other criteria: the view from the room window, excellent and very convenient transport links to all important sights of the city, beautiful sunrises and sunsets can be observed directly from the room window. The breakfasts were very pleased with their variety and abundance - the buffet is so-called. The bed is excellent, the amenities (shower, mini fridge, TV) are quite consistent with the stated stars. The hotel is simple, it is 3*, the smell of mustiness is in the air. The rooms are basically clean, although shabby, without living creatures (in our room the bathroom was very worn), the linen is of good quality, but everything is stained. But I look at the hotel more simply, we only go there to sleep, so if the room is clean, there are beds and a decent breakfast, then everything is fine!
The breakfasts are not bad, the food is simple and monotonous, but of good quality and everything is always available, even if you come at the end!

A huge plus of the hotel is the location - the very center! Everything is beautiful and well maintained, there is where to walk, what to see and where to eat tasty and inexpensive, there are a lot of shops nearby for shopaholics.

Externally, I liked the lobby of the hotel. It is located in the city center - very convenient! Our room was "standard" on the 11th floor. Almost everything was fine: the beds are comfortable (mattress, pillows), the bed linen is the whitest!!!, there is air conditioning, amenities in the room. On the floor there is a cooler with water and an ironing board with a good iron. There are a couple of "buts": the toilet was wobbly, it was even scary; there was a lot of extra furniture for a small room - it was cramped.
The breakfast buffet is a large assortment and delicious. In general, we recommend it!

We stayed at this hotel from 4 to 7 May. The first impression was sharply negative. We had problems with rescheduling the reservation (due to the fault of the intermediary), but there was a feeling that the girl at the Reception was trying to blame us for this. Instead of a banal apology for the inconvenience, we listened to accusations that we did not personally call the hotel and did not specify our reservation, and the fact that we have a voucher for accommodation "does not give her anything." I also could not clearly answer if there are available rooms, I sent them to look at the site)) which is quite problematic, since we are from another country, roaming.
After the showdown with the mediator, the girl still settled us, albeit with the most dissatisfied face and accusations against us)
There were no problems with the rest of the Reception staff.
The room was old, at first it stank terribly of some kind of dust, the air conditioner pretended to work, but in fact the temperature did not decrease. After flushing in the toilet with sounds like a rocket taking off, the toilet door did not fully close. A terrible system with keys, you will be forced to leave them at the reception.
In general, it is acceptable, but in my opinion the price for such a room and service is too high.

When checking into the room, they did not immediately check, they walked all day and late in the evening, standing in the shower, it became clear that there was no hot water and the faucet was torn off, it was impossible to close it back. Naturally, we immediately turned to the reception, sent a master who said that he was actually an electrician and if we needed to turn off the water, then it should be blocked somewhere under the toilet. The decision certainly did not suit. We turned to the reception once again, we were promptly moved to the next room, at least there was a whole faucet and warm water, although the pressure reminded us as if water was sprayed from a pipette (((( It is almost impossible to rinse hair normally under such pressure. Next time, if we are in Minsk, we will choose another hotel, we went to relax, and not solve everyday problems)))
