Good afternoon, everyone. I highly recommend the hotel. We had a rest in July 2022. we liked everything, the service was excellent, the rooms were chic, we had a 4th floor sea view, cleaning daily, buffet breakfast there is a large selection of dishes. Whether lunch and dinner are also at the hotel, everything is decent and delicious. The local wine was very tasty at the bar. It takes about 10 minutes to walk to the plaza. the beach has its own sun loungers and umbrellas and it is very convenient. In general, we are satisfied with everything, I recommend it.

New hotel , clean rooms, excellent service. All the staff is very attentive. There are shops, canteens, and a market nearby. The beach is 500 meters away, there are free sun beds and umbrellas. Towels are provided in the heated pool. The breakfast is excellent.

The service is certainly on the level...but the flies in the dining room are too much...the lack of towels in the evenings by the pool was also annoying...and so I highly recommend it!and yes, by the way, I would rate the dishes in the dining room at 3 + and not at 5....this is my strictly personal opinion.

Dining room: We have breakfast included, we ate enough, there is a choice, different porridges, potatoes, horns, boiled and fried sausages, cottage cheese, fruits, cauliflower, pancakes, pancakes, in short, you will find everything to your taste.... Lunch and dinner are paid -450rubles per person.

If you have a sea view, then take the moon from the 3rd floor and above (we lived on the 3rd) if you have a mountain view, then from the 5th floor. (a building has been built nearby, and nothing is visible)

Everyone writes about audibility, yes, in the corridor, I didn't hear it in the rooms, we were in the evening, sleeping. Cleaning every day, they put tea, shower gel and shampoo for each person.

A warm pool in cold times is a thing!) 4 stars for umbrellas on the beach, it's a complete failure ... small, children's, squishy umbrellas that can only cover your head or legs)) we went to the nearby beach and took sun beds for a fee, under a large umbrella.

The hotel is nice, clean rooms, there are two clean elevators, responsive and smiling administration, heated swimming pool, lighting, fountain and two bubblers. On the one hand, there is a little view of the sea, a couple of hotels, high-rise mountains and, unfortunately, abandoned buildings, but there is no escape from this, on the other hand there is a view of a nearby building. There is a completely working Internet connection. There are 7 sockets in the room, 1 of which is in the bathroom. There is another outlet missing next to the table, since one is occupied by the refrigerator all the time, which means that tea cannot be heated (yes, there is a kettle, 2 glasses and 2 mugs in the room, tea and coffee are brought during cleaning). It takes about 10-15 minutes to stomp to the sea, the beach is pebbly, there is a slightly steep descent to it, sun beds and umbrellas are put by the director of the beach, it is better to come earlier as there are a lot of people. Boats and speedboats can come to any place to invite you on an excursion, which is not good. On the beach, you can catch the Internet from the cafe that is located there, there are a lot of stray dogs running, one day we saw a whole pack of 7 heads running. They seem friendly, but walking between them is still unpleasant. There is no sound insulation in the rooms, sometimes you do not understand who knocked on your door or on the neighbors. There is enough light in the room at night, the sun does not penetrate into the bright ones because there are reflective films on the windows. There is an air conditioner, but it blows directly towards the bed. In the shower, the watering can holder is installed too high, it is difficult for a person with a height of 1.60 to reach to put or remove the watering can. There are shops and a decent cafe nearby. For breakfast there are always porridges, omelets, sometimes boiled, sometimes fried eggs, a lot of vegetables, sausages and cheeses, fruits, 2 breakfast cereals to choose from: nesquik and honey flakes. Lunch and dinner are like in regular canteens. It is better not to use tap water even to wet a toothbrush. The prices for excursions are the same everywhere, so you can take them at the hotel without any problems. If necessary, the administration will help with calling a taxi. There is a market in 15-20 minutes.

We had a rest in August 2021. The hotel is new, but there are disadvantages, the toilet is broken, the water did not leave. They cleaned up pretty well, there were nice girls at the reception. Of course, there is no restaurant there, this is a dining room, pancakes are cold in the morning, dinner was often cold in the evening, some kind of compote, colored water, cost 50p a glass, it was easier to buy juice at the bar. We ate more often in a cafe on the beach, the food there was not bad. It's boring to go anywhere in the hotel, there are a lot of mosquitoes in the evening, everyone had rotovirus and we got sick together. Nature is gorgeous, of course, but because of the rotovirus, you don't set foot there anymore.

We rested at the hotel in the middle of August 2021. The rooms are new, the furniture is in excellent condition. Rooms are cleaned every day. A big plus is the on-site swimming pool.
The only negative that marred your stay at the hotel is the service.
The hotel staff, for the most part, behaves very aloof. It gives the impression that they just don't care about the vacationers at their hotel.
Although, given the fact that Abkhazia and good service are incompatible concepts, it is not surprising that in the Empire the staff, in principle, does not care about visitors.
In the end, I would like to mention and thank Svetlana and Eva, who work at the reception. Great fellows, they create comfort and are always ready to help and prompt, which makes them stand out very much from the general mass of the hotel staff.

Let's start with the fact that it is quite expensive. We paid 12k for 3 days, and received the service for a maximum of 3k. There is not a single battery in the room, not even a dryer in the bathroom (although there is a pool and the question follows "where to dry?), but there is a rope on the balcony)
We arrived at the hotel 2 hours before check-in and were offered to check in earlier for an additional fee of 1k, which is also very strange.
Also, there is no bathtub in the room for such money, there is only a shower and then with poor water pressure, you need to turn it on and wait for 7 minutes until cold water flows and hot water appears. There is 1 outlet in the refrigerator area, there is also a kettle. So if you want to drink tea, you will have to pull the refrigerator out of the socket and vice versa.
Another disadvantage: cleaning. Does she even exist? We had a maximum of sweeping the floor and then swept everything under the bed) no change of linen and even dirty dishes were never cleaned.
The eviction was the end of our patience. On her birthday, her husband strewed the sheets with roses, which were dyed. Upon inspection of the room, it was considered damage to property and demanded to pay a fine of 1,500 rubles. Is it really not possible to throw a sheet to the dry cleaner for our 12k? Or even just buy a new one. They didn't pay the fine, because it was a rip-off, we won't come to the hotel anymore.

Vacation from May 1 to May 9, 2022 with a small company of 4 adults.
An ambiguous impression. The oddities started at the booking stage. At first, we counted about 35 tr with breakfast and dinner, and as soon as we confirmed that we were booking, the price rose sharply by 10 tr. There was no time to look for something else-they paid.
The hotel itself is new, clean, and pleasant. Anna is a very responsive receptionist. Special greetings to her and the barman Batal, if it weren't for them, the hotel's rating would have been worse! The food is monotonous and what we had for breakfast and for dinner, only at the same time all this is also cherished. It seems to be delicious, but not pleasant. Not a restaurant, but a canteen.
The room is well cleaned. If there is a mountain view, then the room should be 5th and 6th floor, well, 4 is a stretch. Otherwise, the windows overlook the wall of the neighboring hotel. And you won't see anything except this wall.
And the cherry on the cake! A hotel without any sound insulation AT ALL! The desire to sleep on vacation, you know, broke off ... you can hear everything! even from the 1st floor.. how doors are opened and slammed, conversations, water in the toilet from the room above ... for me this is the biggest minus…
It is a 10-minute walk to the sea. There is a swimming pool on site. Because it was cold, the water was heated.
Result. If you are doing well with sleep and take only breakfast, I definitely recommend this hotel. There are more garage advantages than disadvantages👍🏻

The road to the hotel is broken. They don't have a restaurant, a canteen with disgusting food every day. There was no cleaning for 3 days. There is water only in the tap, not in the room, not on the floor, drinking water is not provided. The road to the sea is not picturesque, there are mountains of garbage everywhere, 15 dogs are resting on the beach with you. There are no restaurants near the hotel, 10 km from Staraya Gagra where you can have a cultural rest, At the check-out the staff generally arranged a concert because of the ruined collar of the bathrobe and towels after I washed my hair and the shade balm left traces, the administrator sold this spoiled property to me at exorbitant prices. It's strange that it's a problem for them to wash it off or just sell it more profitably. I did it at home without straining. It's a pity that I didn't pay attention to the bad reviews I read on the Internet when booking. The price is very high for such a hotel. There is no shelf, no curtain, no air freshener in the bathroom. I do not recommend it. I am attaching a photo of a bathrobe and a towel so as not to be unfounded. Maybe the staff won't accuse others of damaging property.

We had a family vacation in the Empire in June 2022. Choosing this hotel, we bought into the fact that it is new, clean and beautiful. We also read the reviews, they were only positive at that time (March 2022). In principle, it was like this: the hotel looks rich, beautiful and everything is clean. The governess girls are well-behaved, friendly, keep clean, clean the room, change towels and linen at your request.
But in our case, an unpleasant surprise awaited us already upon check-in: suddenly our room went up by 5 tr. I showed the voucher, where everything was clearly written: room, category, cost, prepayment and the balance to be paid upon check-in. To which the girls at the reception began to invent all sorts of different reasons on the go: the program worked somehow incorrectly, the voucher was printed out incorrectly, etc. Then I picked up all the correspondence already in the mail (it's good that I didn't delete anything), where everything is clearly described to me and the number, and the category, and conditions, and prices... And again, nothing works out for them... They suggested the following: maybe I changed the room category? Their room categories are: family (2,3 floor) and standard (4-6 floors). Difference: in family rooms there is a sofa for additional use.places. We booked one for the 3rd floor. But for some reason, the floors above them are more expensive than family ones, although without sofas, apparently per floor! I showed all the correspondence, where nothing has been changed, everything is clearly spelled out.... We understood that when booking, they forgot to make a reservation for us and at the time of our check-in, they did not have a room available for us on the 3rd floor... So they started to breed us for an additional one.the fee for the floor above. But provided that we had all the evidence of our correctness on hand, they decided to settle us without an additional payment of 5 tr., doing us a favor, so to speak... At the same time, we were put in a cot in the room, instead of a sofa, which caused certain inconveniences for living. But I didn't want to swear anymore.... At the same time, they do not allow you to see the price list, as it can be done in other hotels without problems... They have everything classified: there is nothing on the site, write to the mail, they will calculate everything....
We included breakfast and dinner in the price, the breakfasts were really delicious and freshly prepared. But dinners are a nightmare! Maybe when it's just cooked, it's undeniably delicious, but apparently this hotel doesn't cook fresh until they eat everything cooked... They serve it Cold, they say that it needs to be heated in the microwave, BUT when asked: when is it cooked, they answer that 20 minutes. back. And it's all the same for 4 days, everything is exciting, but they don't care at all! Well, the cherry on the cake was that some family members got sick after catching something in the pool, or with food, which finally spoiled the opinion of the hotel!!!
I would like to strongly recommend to the hotel owner: with such an expensive investment (hotel) do not use such marketing things for greater profit, like breeding people in a village. Although, I think this is just a gross mistake by the booking department, and not the first one this year! Please pay attention. And something needs to be done about nutrition, too. Believe me, you will not save money on this, but only lose your reputation!

The hotel is great, but the mattress on the bed is terribly uncomfortable, I never managed to get enough sleep, I took off one star for it. The pool is not large and if there are a lot of children, it is impossible to swim there, as well as not to swim during the day, since the pool is in the sun. In the bathroom, the audibility is terrible, I thought that someone came into our room and was talking to my son, but no, it's just that the neighbors can hear it)))The breakfasts are very tasty and varied. There may not be enough rods with umbrellas on the beach, since they are occupied by strangers and the "director" of the beach cannot drive them away...

If we consider only the hotel, then the hotel can safely be given a solid 4.Firstly, it is new, everything is clean, the mattresses are brand new and not cheap, the linen is crisp, the staff is kind and trying. The interior is quite decent, the hotel has its own pool, bathrobes, slippers in the room, they clean every day, linen is changed once a week. We had a view room on the 6th floor, there were no problems with sound insulation, the view was amazing from the window, the room had a wonderful TV and air conditioning. The breakfasts are good, the dishes are varied, the coffee is instant. Our dinners were also included, but in my opinion it is simpler, there are no complaints about the quality of the dishes, the choice is such, there are only 2-3 options-salad, dessert, side dish, main course, cheeses, vegetables, one drink and one glass of wine. There is a small grocery store right next to the hotel. The hotel has its own sun beds and umbrellas on a piece of the city beach, which are basically enough for guests. They are put up around 8 a.m., although the hotel manager talked about 6:00, but in this region, the relationship is difficult over time..
This is where the advantages of staying end from the word at all. The road to the beach is about 700 meters, consists of 3 parts- first along a pleasant street, then along a fence along a construction site, then through dusty rough terrain, 15 minutes of brisk walking and voila-you are on a crowded dirty beach, where when swimming endlessly, almost all kinds of boats, aquabikes, bananas scurry over your head, cheesecakes, their movement is accompanied by endless loud calls for these joys of life. The area where the hotel is located is absolutely isolated, there is absolutely nowhere to go for a walk in the evening, unless you are a fan of restaurants of Caucasian cuisine a la the 90s, with questionable menus, songs and drunken dancing.
It should be noted that there is dirt everywhere on the streets, no one cleans up, garbage is everywhere.
Our whole company got sick with enterovirus in turn, but this does not surprise anyone here, it is called "acclimatization".
Regarding prices, everything is like in Russia, or even more expensive, you can only pay in cash, if you decide to pay with a card, then you need to physically have this card, there is no payment via NFC.
Taxi drivers charge exorbitantly, only in cash and do not know the city. They say a lot of people from the villages have pulled up to work, so these poor drivers are not able to take them just to the address...and navigators are probably below the level of their dignity.
It's not fair to keep silent about the stunning beauty of Abkhazia, the region really has gorgeous nature, we went on a tour of the golden ring, honestly, it was a complete delight. But we went with a company from Sochi, with which we traveled last year, we did not risk it with the locals)))). And of course there are a million locations for beautiful photos.
My resume is that Abkhazia is a great region for excursions, but you can't go there anymore.

Amazing hotel, I liked absolutely everything.Very friendly staff, they will help and advise in any situation, there were no problems with accommodation either, there was a view room on the mountains.
The meals included only breakfasts, which had absolutely everything (a choice of second courses, porridges,salads, tea, any drink), you can take lunch or dinner for a fee (about 80-100 rubles per dish).
The room is cleaned every day + general cleaning with a change of linen once a week, bathrobes for the entire stay, but they changed us, so everything is very loyal.
We were not very lucky with the weather, the heated pool up to +30 was very helpful.

The hotel is new and very clean, the rooms are cleaned every day and this is probably the only plus! The food is terribly not tasty, the dinner consists of leftovers and serves what was not finished at lunch. The staff is not friendly. When you pick up food for breakfast, they drill you with a look at how much you took, as if you came to their house and ate for free even though you paid for everything included! We had a rest in Novaya Gagra, the food in the canteens is poor and expensive. The beach is not equipped with anything, it is not refined, it is even difficult to go down to it, a woman with a stroller cannot go down at all without the help of a man.
There is nothing to do in Abkhazia for more than 5 days. There is no service at all, and the prices are overpriced!!!!

We had a rest in August 2022. The staff is excellent, the service is 5, the rooms are small, the view of the courtyard is terrible. It's 10 minutes from the sea, but I didn't like the beach. I didn't like the food very much, fresh food, milk-like. They can't even cook oatmeal properly, the cradle is raw, the chicken soup is terrible. The pool is comfortable and cozy. We had a rest in July 2022. The hotel is located on the territory of the so-called novaya Gagra. In other words, among the developments of private houses. All around, dirt and a pack of stray dogs. The hotel is new and clean. The staff doesn't do anything nice. Towels are changed after the fifth request. Garbage and room cleaning also happen once every three days. If the windows overlook the pool, then you will not sleep until that night, because cheerful companies are sitting there and drinking, when asked for silence, the administrator advised us to choose another hotel. The dining room is terrible, they got sick with rotovirus on the second day. The pool is warm but deep. In general, we didn't like everything very much, especially the attitude of the administration and moved to another hotel.

The fattest minus is VERY NOISY. EVERYTHING AND EVERYONE CAN BE HEARD CATOSTROPHICALLY. Lying down to rest during the day is problematic, at night there is also noise: conversations, slamming doors, maids dragging something on the floor, their radios are constantly working, children are running, screaming.
Outside the window, something is constantly being drilled, cut, and built on the street. And no laws of silence, lunch siesta are observed.
