A great place to relax. The mountains are relatively not far away, you can go skiing and snowboarding. The hotel is clean, good service, very polite and qualified staff. I really liked the pool and sauna. I took off the star for breakfast. We lived for 2 weeks, in the first week there was just a great breakfast with fruits and nuts, there was an excellent, very diverse selection of dishes. In the second week, as the staff found out, the composition of the breakfast changed, only one version of porridge remained, fruits and nuts were removed. There was no baking. Peas, olives and vegetables were removed (almost all vegetables were removed, I saw only tomatoes and cucumbers, and then not every day). If you close your eyes to breakfast, then this is a great place.

A pleasant hotel, the rooms are very clean and tidy. They cleaned my place every day. the room was overlooking the mountains - the beauty of nature is indescribable!
There is a spa (swimming pool and Finnish sauna), massage also seemed to be, but I did not use it.
The water in the pool is clean, the sauna warms up well too.
You can have breakfast from 7 a.m., which is very convenient for those who need to leave early on business. The dishes themselves are quite diverse, there are classic fried eggs, porridge, fish, meat and chicken, a large selection of fresh fruits and vegetables, dried fruits.
The hotel is located in the upper part of the city, the locals say that the air there is cleaner.

The paranormally high rating for such a hotel on Yandex maps is extremely doubtful.
But let's start in order -
A large building, 10 floors, several facilities at the hotel and even a "spa" - a 10x10m pool, a small sauna and a fitness room from the 90s. Oh, yes, the place where the meal takes place is like in that riddle: without windows, without doors, although wait, there is still an entrance.
A surprisingly large number of guests, despite all the conditions and cost.
The rooms are generally neat and there is nothing superfluous (as well as a kettle). A table, a chair, a bed, a built-in wardrobe and a TV stand. Panoramic floor-to-ceiling glazing and the lack of air conditioning will make your stay in the room as uncomfortable as possible. Thanks for the hot water and the good maid work with the replacement of consumables. But the view, yes, it's great, but it's probably better not to come here next time for it.
Breakfasts are expertly made as poorly as possible, in general, you can not even consider them as a way of eating. The assortment is meager, the quality of execution is two-fold, it's a pain.
We were here for 5 days at work and realized that we had made a big mistake.
As a result, is there a problem with the staff? I don't think so. There is a strong feeling that saving is a way of existence for the administration.
And if the hotel had not claimed four stars in the price of 270k tenge for 6 days, there would have been fewer questions.

Overall, the hotel is not bad. We settled with our family for a couple of days. Breakfasts, of course, cannot be compared with Rixos. But I noticed one thing, thorough cleaning is not carried out, they returned a couple of days later, water stains remained on the sofa with streaks, and there are a lot of extra hairs on the carpet.

A good hotel, breakfast is varied, but porridge and compotes are very sweet, there is not enough food for a healthy diet, where there is no sugar and porridge without milk.
There are rooms of different categories, it is easy to add hangers, a kettle. The disadvantage is poor ventilation, it is sometimes cool at night, then stuffy, the windows do not open.
The noise isolation is sufficient. Cleaning, the staff is not bad.

Добрый день! Хорошая гостиница, месторасположение отличное. Удобные матрацы,белоснежная постель. Номер большой, телевизор ЖК. Завтраки неплохие, ассортимент фруктов порадовал. Чисто, уютно. Есть какие-то проблемы с электричеством, временами не включался свет. В проживание входили услуги сауны, спа и бассейн, однако они не работали, вразумительного ответа по какой причине нам дать не смогли. В общем неплохо, рекомендую

Positive: a spacious room (junior suite) and a large comfortable bed.
Minuses: old worn repairs, holes on the wallpaper and curtains, the handrail in the bathroom is falling off, yellowed tile seams, a skewed toilet, the air conditioner is not regulated (at first it was turned off, and then it was +19 all the time, it was very cold. There are only three hangers in the closet, there are no shelves. Things had to be left in a suitcase or on furniture.
The food for breakfast is cold, dirty, dirty tables, no appliances, glasses, only tongs for all food: vegetables, cheeses, bread.
I wouldn't come back and wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

Бываю в Алматы в командировках. Отель Шера расположен в шаговой доступности от офиса, поэтому для проживания стандартно выбирала именно его. Также он расположен недалеко от главной улице Аль-Фараби и торгового центра Достык Плаза.
Последний раз была в Алмате с 17-20 октября 22 года, до этого (из-за пандемии) в 2019 году. Некогда любимый отель очень сильно «сдал». Ремонт давно не делали, часть территории лобби сдали в субаренду, кухня сильно испортилась.
В душевой плитка на полу укладывалась с явным нарушением уровней, вода не сливается. Чтобы хоть немного исправить недочёт , положили одну плиту на пол, которая выполняет роль пандуса. Но это помогает недолго, вода быстро заполняет душевую кабину. Номер улучшенный, 11 этаж.
Заказывала в номер и обычный чай с мёдом и ужин. Ужин сильно не первой свежести. Бургер можно было «простучать», настолько сухой хлеб и начинка. Чай не насыщенный (в Казахстане чай популярный национальный напиток), мёд как будто разбавлен водой. После рабочего дня хочется отдохнуть за чашкой чая, но такой напиток к этому не располагает.
Несмотря на близость к офису, в следующую поездку планирую искать вблизи другой отель. Шера, к сожалению, сильно испортилась и такого удовольствия при расположении в нем больше не испытываешь..

I called the reception for a long time, but they dumped me. I went on foot and asked to open the window - the master was called, who opened it, but in this case the window was no longer closed (on the street -8 at night). Some floors were very smoky, so the room also smelled of smoke all the time. It feels as if they decided to sell the hotel and abandoned the repair and service.

Есть спорт зал, бассейн, сауна.
3 звёзды за отношение бухгалтера к клиентам при подготовке и предоставлении документов для командировок.

Нормальный отель среднего уровня для деловой поездки и командировки. В номере чисто. С заменой белья и уборкой нет проблем. Локация удобна, не далеко от центра города. Завтрак удовлетворителен. В лобби работает кофейня. До аэропорта 35 минут, если без пробок. Через дорогу от входа небольшие магазины и обменник.

Бываю в этом отеле несколько раз в году, поскольку месторасположение крайне удобно для работы. Кроме того, цена за достойную постель, приличный комфорт санузла и терпимый питательный завтрак, очень привлекательна.
Из печального: крайне неприемлемая шумоизоляция, громыхающие замки соседских дверей, от которых невозможно не проснуться ночью. Набор телеканалов беден. Кофемашина в ресторане есть, но кофе огорчающий. Скатерти на столах в ресторане в убогом состоянии. Номера требуют бОльшего умения и ума в плане техобслуживания. Например, пороги на стыке кафеля и ковролана прикручены абы какими саморезами, шляпки которых торчат и рискуют стать причиной травмы при хождении по номеру на босу ногу. Чайник нужно просить на баре. При этом надо раздобыть ложку, сахар, сам чай - ничего этого в номере нет.
Пару раз заказывал еду в номер: нареканий нет, быстро и вкусно.
В целом хороший отель 3 звезды с отличным месторасположением и хорошей ценой. До пандемии (до 2020 года) отель был лучше...

Да, да, я путешественник с опытом, genius последнего уровня, который прожил в роскошных люкс-отелях Дубаи, где персонал готов подмести каждый ваш шаг, и переночевал в гостиницах Новосибирска, где комары выступали в роли бесплатных кровососущих массажистов. SheraInn сумела создать уникальное сочетание "лучшего" из обоих миров!
Начнем с номеров, где я ожидал погрузиться в комфорт и роскошь, но вместо этого ощутил запах сырости, словно оказался в подводной пещере. Кондиционер, который должен был создавать оазис прохлады, оказался не только шумным, но и невозможно сделать его тише, лишая нас возможности наслаждаться спокойствием. Хотя это после вызова техника, который зашёл в номер в грязной обуви.
Далее, проблемы только накапливались: помимо сырости, в номере ощущался запах старого белья, который никак не украшал наше пребывание.
Представьте себе мое изумление, когда я открыл шторы и увидел строительную сетку перед окном, портящую вид на горы. Казалось, что окна не только не чистились сто лет, но и служили источником пыли и грязи.
И каково же было мое озарение, когда я отправился в спа, надеясь на расслабление и умиротворение! Вместо этого меня встретил грубейший сотрудник спа, который даже не предложил полотенца, пришлось самому выпрашивать их у него.
А что насчет фитнес-бара? К сожалению, его нет, и если вы захотите пополнить запасы энергии после тренировки, придется искать вдохновение на другом континенте.
Но самым ужасным моментом был завтрак, где меня приветствовала протухшая курица с неприятным запахом. Мое обращение к старшему официанту не принесло никакого извинения, только равнодушие и объяснения, что это была ошибка официанта-новичка.
В заключение, SheraInn заслуживает звание самого ужасного четырехзвездочного отеля в мире. Путешественники, будьте готовы к незабываемому опыту, который вы захотите забыть как страшный сон, и расскажите об этом всем, чтобы они знали, что подводные камни гостеприимства могут ожидать их в Алматы!

Персонал приветливый. Вид шикарный. Площадь делюкс номера достойная. Ресторан приличный, хотя с вином прокол. Но есть нюансы. Звукоизоляция очень плохая, дверь в туалет не закрывается, кондиционер шпарит как в бане и не регулируется. По каждому моменту надо обращаться, просить. Чтобы успокоили шумную компанию в соседнем номере - тоже надо просить специально.

Всё очень понравилось! Чистота, комфорт, обслуживание, приветливый персонал, хорошие завтраки, ежедневная уборка, в номерах все необходимое. Отличное местоположение и прекрасный бассейн, сауна и тренажёрный зал

Противоречивые впечатления. Начну с плюсов -вежливый персонал, просторный номер, вид на горы . Окно открывалось -это отлично!
Минусы -wi-fi одно название-ничего не тянет и отваливается все время :(, отель требует глобальной реновации « подустал» …, постельное белье тоже пора приобрести новое , на завтрак все ничего, но без души , круассаны не первой свежести, что огорчило.

Last week in mid-December, when the frost set in at -25 degrees, the temperature in the room was from 18.5 to 19.5 degrees. I called the technicians 3 times, but they couldn't help. I was cold for 2 nights, slept dressed, put a winter jacket on the blanket. As I understand it, the hotel is simply not designed for operation in severe frosts. Otherwise, an ordinary hotel, somewhere better (sauna, swimming pool, location), somewhere worse (weak breakfasts).
