This is the fifth time in Egypt, but we haven't seen anything like this yet.Positive:the beach has a smooth approach and views of the mountains, the staff is trying, but nervous, the juice is natural in packs, the food is for four.Minuses:a hotel is being built nearby, there is a rumble when relaxing on the beach, entering the sea only in corals, sand in shells and cigarette butts,an unheated pool, the entire territory is tarnished with chipped tiles, without charisma and inspiration, the rooms are generally a complete mess, not everything is renovated.The curtains are torn,flies,the floor is covered in sand,the TV remote control is broken, the crack and backlash of the entrance door,the bathroom is peeling with a cold shower,the door handle on the balcony is defective,the chairs are stained,the furniture is partial and old,the safe is after opening,the air conditioner is noisy.Visitors are running around the hotel with suitcases in search of a good room.In general, the entire infrastructure and furnishings of the hotel are in a shabby and neglected state!

Two stars: for the sea and delicious food.
We flew to red wings, we expected the worst, but we flew quite well, drinks , a sandwich with cheese and cucumber . There were no problems. It took 45 minutes to get to the hotel. It was an hour before check-in, so we went to eat. We washed our hands in the toilet in the second hall of the restaurant, where there was not a single lock on the doors, no hand wipes or dryer.
The standard room is terrible, mold, debris, dust, it is even dangerous to be in such conditions. mini bar: two bottles of water. the air conditioner and hair dryer were working. Parted - nothing to say . They didn't change our room, they said there were no rooms available. then we met the family, it turns out that for $ 50 it was possible to move. There was simply no sofa in the room. Walking on the floor only in shoes. There is nowhere to dry things, there is a small dryer for swimsuits, in the photo in all its excellent condition. The photo attached was naturally also rejected.
The food is delicious , you can choose the right one for yourself . they look after the main restaurant, control the cleaning and cooking.When they are not there, it's just a disaster, you can't sit down at the table, everything is sticky. We were in November, the water in the pools is icy, there is one heated pool. Oh, yes, I'll put another star for the territory, it's beautiful, the view of the sea, there is a place to walk. Drinks are quite enough , they do not regret it. Coffee for an amateur. The animators are funny. We tried to smile too. To summarize : This is the worst hotel we've been to. A nice hotel with a large well-maintained territory, several swimming pools, a gym, there are water slides for children and teenagers. There is a place where you can have fun and relax in silence. In the evening, music does not interfere, because the amphitheater is located on the uninhabited side. The hotel is on a plain and there are few stairs. Spacious rooms, everything works, daily cleaning, Friendly staff, understand Russian. Food for 4. You can visit 2 a la carte restaurants for free. The sea is wonderful, with a good sunset, the ebb and flow are insignificant, fish swim in artificial columns. The beach is huge with lots of sun beds and umbrellas. This is the second time in this hotel, so we already had an idea where we were going. The only thing is that it has become smaller both in terms of territory and number of rooms, because exactly half was given to another hotel. In general, everything is good, the food is normal, fruits, meat, shrimp and crabs every day. You won't be hungry on the beach either, they feed you well. October is the most suitable month for a vacation in Africa, mango season is generally a separate story, a mango festival was held on the beach, as much as you want. The sea is certainly beyond praise, it is a local treasure, the entrance is smooth without reefs and without pantones, without corals. In the evening, you can walk along the embankment, or rent an electric car and take a ride. The Sahl Hasheesh area is quiet and calm, outsiders will not just get here, there are barriers and guards at the entrance. The center of Hurghada is about 20 minutes away by bus.

The hotel was not pleased with the hospitality and friendliness. The most unpleasant thing is the staff at the reception - always (!) dissatisfied, tired, and completely indifferent to Russian-speaking tourists. When I arrived at this hotel for the first time in 2012, everything was at the highest level. I am very disappointed now, especially that:
1. I dreamed of doing a photo shoot with my beloved - at the reception they didn't even tell me when the photographer could be found, i.e. there is a place, they get money for rent, but there are no contacts of the employee / photographer, how is it?. Also dismissive waving (in English), like I'm distracting with my photo shoot when people arrive.
2. Also, absolutely any question at the reception causes surprise / misunderstanding / aggression when they hear Russian speech.
A question for the administration, if you accept money from Russian tourists, provide them with decent service and Russian-speaking staff!

We were with friends from 12.01 to 24.01.25, although we were out of season, the weather did not spoil the rest at all. Due to the building of the hotel, the wind did not bother much. The comfortable tanning + bathing time is from 10:30 to 15:30, then it will be cool.
I really liked the hotel itself! They are very attentive to the service, during our stay at the hotel there was always a manager who looked after everything.
The food is great, always varied, and I didn't get bored during my stay. It is very pleasant that all drinks, namely juices, lemonades, beer are all in cans, packages, no bottling! Strong alcohol is local
The rooms are also good, although if there are rooms with doors to another room, it may be uncomfortable if there are noisy neighbors.

Cozy hotel, beautiful territory, clean and well maintained. The staff is friendly.
The standard room is quite decent, comfortable bed, clean linen, bottled water, tea and coffee, kettle, beautiful view from the balcony. There was not enough cleanliness in the san for complete happiness.node (toilet and sink are clean). There is no WiFi in the room, there is only within the reception, lobby, main restaurant.
The restaurant is large, there were always free seats. There is plenty of food, I sometimes lacked the usual, homely taste, but for 10 days the feeling that I was hungry did not arise once)
The sea is beautiful! Clear, warm water, excellent sand on the beach, the entrance to the water and the bottom are not ideal, but you can do without coral slippers. In the right part of the beach, a "flooded city" has been created in the sea, all lovers of snorkeling swim there.
A long promenade on the embankment, you can walk to the Fountain Square.
Funny animation. I liked the massage at the SPA.

Don't believe the reviews!Everyone knows Russian! Very friendly to Russians everywhere! You can even pay by transfer from a Savings account or in cash, the equivalent is slightly higher than the official one both at the hotel and in stores. We forgot a huge shopping bag on the bus, so everyone was alerted and brought back in the evening! If you lost your glasses on the beach, you found them!!(Security guards and staff have their own chat with waifs and they are punished for keeping quiet!!!)
Territory: beautiful, not big, very clean and tidy, walking distance to bars and cafes.I do not recommend Italian cuisine cafes (within the framework of one free visit: not tasty, the service is terrible). The pools are beautiful but icy, no one swims. There is a small amount of sun beds on the beach: considering that we are out of season, we could hardly find a sunbed, a huge number of broken ones. But the beach is clean.
The room stock is diverse, but everything has been seen, killed, not cleaned very well, even though they paid extra, towels, etc. everything is new every day! The windows are in terrible condition, and the walls can be heard as if they don't exist. A new hotel is being built nearby, I don't know how people lived there.
The kitchen- the food is great! The variety of meat, vegetables, and side dishes is huge, fruit is unlucky, out of season, and everything is greenish. The table service is at a good level. The alcohol is good. I was surprised by the delicious beer.
Separately, I want to say about trips: do not agree to paid trips to the city: they take you to certain expensive stores! Everyone run.

Today is the last day of a two-week stay at this hotel. In 20 years of travel experience, I've been to different hotels, but I've never seen such dirt in any!
The room is sooo poorly cleaned, and tips don't save the situation, so you don't have to leave) the floors are dirty after cleaning, the toilet is not washed, towels are changed every other time, and then you need to ask, I don't say anything about bed linen, they can make up the dirty!...

The evening animation is a separate story, in short, it's a small nook next to the reception, where there's not enough room for even a third of the guests, and the performances themselves are sooo low level.
Of the advantages (they are still there), a diverse selection of dishes, fresh food, vegetables and fruits are just enough. For those with a sweet tooth, in my opinion, just a paradise, a huge amount of sweets.

My advice is to choose another hotel if possible.

The only advantage of this hotel is access to the sea, the rest is one big minus. I don't understand people who give five stars. 1- the 5* hotel doesn't match at all, 2- I haven't seen such bad rooms (after renovation) even in roadside hotels, 3- cuisine: the most delicious thing I ate here is RICE, 4- attitude towards Russians (this is very noticeable against the background of other foreign contingent), 5- there is no cleaning in the room, 6- the reception will not help us (even $), 7- they do not work with children here (you entertain the children yourself), 8- the guide is not your assistant (ANEX tour) in his interests to give you as many excursions as possible, 9- take with you: gel for a shower, shampoo, body lotion, a rope or a clothes dryer, and along the way, something in dutik, 10- weigh all the pros and cons, love and appreciate yourself (we all deserve a decent vacation).

A good hotel, with a large territory, entertainment programs, a variety of food. The animators were cool and funny. Pools and slides for children. Everything is fine. The view from the windows is beautiful, the purest sea. Not far from our beach there is a sunken building, there are corals and many beautiful fish.
Of the unpleasant ones: they were settled in a dirty room, it was dusty on the surfaces, the floor was dirty, water flowed from the toilet barrel onto the floor and a puddle gathered. There were not enough beds, I was with my husband and two children, but everything was resolved after contacting the reception, the next day. Thanks for that! In general, we had a great rest and we liked it!

We were in Pyramid for the first time, we had a rest in January. Except that our flight was delayed for 6 hours, the rest left an indelible mark in my memory) a steep beach, a steep sea. Since it is located in a bay, it slightly resembles a lake, but if you go to the left, a wild beach and a full-fledged sea begin. Seafood, crabs, shrimps, everything is fresh, cooked in front of you. A separate topic with a fruit paradise on the beach, a strawberry festival was held every other day)
Animations on the beach will not make you bored. Thanks to the incendiary animators, unfortunately I did not remember their names. Someone wrote about the bad attitude towards Russians, I never noticed anything like that. Everyone is very welcoming and friendly. Almost everyone speaks Russian. The only thing that surprised me was that the guys at the reception don't speak Russian. But if you know English, that's a big plus)
On the downside, the rooms are very poorly cleaned, but we only went there to sleep. Thanks to the guy who made swans and hearts out of towels for us every day)

Well, definitely not on a solid 5. On 3+ yes. I'll put 4-. We had a rest from 6/12 to 13/12/2024.
1) the standard rooms have nominal repairs, something that needs to be completely refreshed a long time ago is slightly greased. The furniture was battered, also greased. Sockets are generally sad, but okay, as they say, that's not what we were going for.
No luck - on the first day they settled in a standard room on the 1st floor with severe repairs, or rather with its absence. Married couples (2 pcs.) - both couples are accommodated in rooms with separate beds, it is impossible to combine, because there is a bedside table between the beds without sockets, but immediately with wires connected to the bedside table. I have never seen such furniture in any 3* hotel. It's disgusting to go into the bathroom even in shoes. The smell of the toilet plus a sour smell like in an old-fashioned smoking room. I complained to the reception about the smell, they sent a cleaner, he wrote with a thermonuclear air freshener)))) it began to smell like a toilet, a smoking room and a refresher)))))Darkness in the bathroom (2 puny light bulbs, where there is no shower at all, there is no light source as such). Glasses in the bathtub, facing down without napkins :) I'm not being mean)) but all of this together is quite depressing. It is clear that without slippers, bathrobes, 4 towels for 1 guest, as it should be in a 5* hotel.
The first night I read the contract with the tour operator in order to leave this hotel altogether. I couldn't sleep even after the overnight flight. The mattress was all dented with broken springs. He died a natural death.
On the very first day, they asked for relocation to the reception (there are no places, come tomorrow, they refused to upgrade the room category for a day at our expense, allegedly only for the entire period), the same story happened with guest relations, well, at least they sympathized and apologized.
In the morning they came and already through the guide from BG they asked to move higher at least. In general, everyone rallied and helped us), but minus one day of vacation and plus a cognitive dissonance due to the fact that for 183k for two I flew in for a week not at 5*, but at 2-3*, according to my feelings, and that's right with the strain.
Then everything got better with the relocation to a standard room on the 3rd floor. Yes, it's a tired repair, but it looks normal and more decent.
2) Mattresses/pillows. I don't even sleep on a dead mattress, like on bricks) on the second day, my hips, sides and shoulders ached). If you sleep, then only on your back, having previously placed a couple of pillows under your sides for cushioning))) the pillows themselves are also hard and large, sleeping on them is about like sleeping on a bedside table) this is if you are used to sleeping on an orthopedic pillow and a normal mattress, the rest may come in). The bed linen is also battered and just soooo cheap.
3) Food. Norm, there's always something to eat. Steamed seafood is poorly cooked, I tried it once, I don't hunt anymore. Grilled crabs are not fried. Inside, under the shell, there is something like bechamel sauce. Shrimps are also grilled once, you'll get dirty more than you'll enjoy the taste. If they were just boiled, it would taste better.
Squid fried in the dining room with vegetables is quite edible, but the film is not always removed from them. Sushi. Rice is like in rice porridge. The sushi maker makes them deliberately slowly, so that once again there is no desire to approach him. Probably meditating. At the end he gives you 4 pieces of sushi))
Beef, poultry, side dishes - everything is varied and edible. They didn't get poisoned, they were always full.
Alcohol, as usual, and cocktails, too. You can bring your own alcohol. The juices are not removable, I saw how they are poured from bags (mango, pineapple, guava, apple). The juices are quite decent. Fresh for $ 3 at the entrance to the dining room is also normal.
4) The beach/entrance to the sea is good. From the neighboring hotel, people flow smoothly to the beach of Pyramids. There are no nets on the buoys. Once, on alarm, everyone was kicked out of the sea for 30 minutes. Those who did not have time to get out, climbed onto the columns, waiting for rescuers. They were taken out by boat. We still haven't cracked whether there was a shark or not. The flies are devils. They cover you from head to toe, like you're jam :)
4) a promenade along the sea - that's 5 points. I've never seen anything like this in Hurghada, you can just walk around here. You can go to the left - there is a wild beach, the sea is not as calm as on the hotel beach. There are waves, wind, and, in general, the familiar Egypt.
The bay is quiet and good with children, but it feels more like a lake than a sea. There are also cool places to the right of the hotel along the boardwalk, I advise you to take a walk, beautiful locations, you can take an electric car.

1. The hotel is old, dilapidated, small territory, constant rancid smell and burning smell from the restaurant, there are a lot of abandoned buildings around the hotel
2. Rooms for three, everything is kept on snot, old gray worn-out bed linen, sockets do not hold the adapter - it falls out, the smell of sewage from the toilet, holes in the ceiling in the bathroom, chairs are all broken, legs are glued with tape
3. The cleaning is very superficial, even for tips. Yes, the garbage will be thrown out, yes, the bed will be made. They'll wipe the floor quickly. The mirror will be washed only in the bathroom, the mirrors in the room have not been wiped once; instead of clean towels, you will get your dirty ones, but folded; the sink has never been washed. Toilet paper and clean towels, as a result, were suitable and asked to be given out personally.
Well, very dirty curtains, they obviously haven't been cleaned for many years.
4. Beach: nightmarish schezlong (see photo) - all rusty and broken, creepy mushrooms like from the distant past. The sand was disappointing - gray and dirty. There are no changing booths. One wooden dirty toilet to the left of the beach. It is better to use the pool in the building, there is also a shower.
In our days of relaxing on the beach, a bar was being built. That's why we sunbathed under the smell of paint and welding.
5. Food - yes, it is varied, but variety does not mean quality and good taste. Everything is cooked in stinky oil. For the first time in my life, I couldn't eat an omelette in a hotel - it was just poison. There were a lot of raw dishes (fish, meat and pastries) - apparently because of the rush.
The fruits look pathetic and sad, however, as well as the taste, melon with the taste of grass, there was no watermelon. Desserts are a complete failure, with the taste of soap. In general, the food is for very unassuming people who eat only buckwheat at home.
And, of course, where can you go without an intestinal disorder? thank God only at the end of the rest. But it's inevitable.
Alcohol is the most disgusting of all the alcohol that I have tasted in olinclusive hotels.
6. An ice pool, no one has ever swum in it, in principle. There is another tiny pool behind the right hull - here it is hot, just like cooking in soup. For an amateur, of course.
7. There are a lot of flies! Especially on the beach. 5-6 sit down at once.
Positive:
1. The sea. Excellent depth, no need to walk half a kilometer. There is a good approach with sand without stones. The water is crystal clear. On the right side of the beach there is a place with corals and beautiful fish.
2. The animation is good, unobtrusive. in the afternoon on the beach, in the evening the children's room at the restaurant, then live music until 21.30, and then a disco - they tried right here - both on the beach and by the pool. Evening shows, as they used to be with contests, etc. - no, only discos.
3. The staff is all friendly and ready to help. They react quickly. There are Russian speakers.
We were brought to the hotel at 5 in the morning, at 7 we were already wearing bracelets. At 13.00 we settled in. The number can be changed if something does not suit you.
4. Unlimited bottled water.
General:
It is possible and necessary to occupy sun beds (although the hotel rules ask not to do this), but there is no other way. From 8:45 almost everything is busy, but a huge plus is the beach staff who will help you find sun beds and even bring them where you need them.
There is also a bar employee serving drinks on the beach.
Weather from October 22 to November 1:
The air is 28-30, but there has always been a wind, which on the one hand softens the heat and does not sweat, and on the other makes bathing and leaving the sea uncomfortable - it is very cold. The water was a little cold (and this was said by many vacationers), up to 12 about 24-25 grams, warmed up more by lunch.
The territory of the hotel is small.
The hotel consists of two buildings, to the left and to the right of the reception. There is a swimming pool in the middle. In the right building: even rooms - with a view of the interior (pool and side sea view), odd rooms with a view of the exterior - this, unfortunately, is a construction site. There is no noise due to the construction, but there is a lot of construction dust, I had to wipe the dust several times a day (I attach a photo). Another disadvantage of the construction site is the builders who live there and watch you shouting and whistling.
In the left building, the view is similar to the pool or to the outside - there is another hotel there.
The only advantage of the rooms with a view of the construction site is that you can't hear the music from the disco.
Payment in dollars or euros. Old dollars up to 2000 are not accepted. But at the same time, they can give you the change with a clear conscience with the old ones - be sure to check.
There are two shops on the territory (drinks, tobacco, souvenirs and sea goods).
There is almost never any change from $100 and $50. But on the first day we asked the porter to change us $ 100, with a deduction for tips. Or very very gently ask for a change in the store))
You can walk along the embankment - about 10 km. You can rent a car (such as a golf cart). They cost from $ 20 per hour. But we have to bargain.
Bracelets are removed at check-out at 12, it is possible to extend the room ($20 per adult until 16.00 and $ 25 until 18.00), subject to availability, but this can only be found out on the day of departure at 9.00.

Overall, the hotel is not bad by local standards. The best thing is the territory + snorkeling in the "lost city" + an excellent prominade 8 km long. along which you can drive an electric car. The food is quite decent, especially the pastries and desserts. The room stock is tired, but you can negotiate with the staff. I give 3 stars for the unbearable noise on the beach (animation exceeding all possible decibels). And woe to those vacationers who got rooms with a view of the neighboring hotel (V luxury resort). For a reason unknown to me and many other guests, evening animation in this hotel is held from 21.00 to 22.40. The stage is located right between the buildings, you can hear everything!!! And quite loudly. There's no way to go to bed early!

I knew where I was going, that the level of hotels in Egypt is not comparable to hotels in Turkey, but... I'm shocked by the number. He's not just old, he's crippled by life. The front door has already been broken down, everything is broken, the furniture is scratched and scratched, it feels like it's all from the 50s. Bathroom: the toilet seat has turned yellow from old age, it's scary to sit down, the faucet at the sink is covered in growths of long-term dirt, the shower sticks out of the wall. A long promenade along the sea and other hotels, you can ride an electric car. The hotel has a large beach, lots of sun loungers, a good entrance to the sea. There is no natural reef, but corals are slowly growing on flooded concrete and steel structures and many different fish are swimming. According to the diet, you can choose what comes in, but not the Turkish buffet, of course. In terms of animation, the guys did well, but we did not participate, we were on our own wave. The room stock is probably the only negative - we had a damaged room... but the red sea is beautiful, and it covered all the disadvantages.

THE FOOD is not tasty at all after 3 days there is nothing to eat, it's all the same. Breakfast was all eggs......there were no seasonal fruits. The water in the pool is cold, there is no water park in the hotel itself, you need to go to the neighboring hotel, and you can't call it a water park. There are 2 slides and that's it. The ANIMATION is very, very weak. All drinks have the same unpleasant smell and taste. One of the advantages is a nice territory, a magnificent sea and a beach. I have never seen such a bracelet removal system in any hotel, when at 12:00 you have to vacate the room and they cut it off for you, then you sit in the reception hall and wait for your bus, you can't use anything else, it's a big minus for the hotel. The food is ordinary, traditional for Egypt - beef or veal, chicken, sometimes turkey, rarely duck will be made from meat. Fish is cooked daily. It's a horror to be honest.
When we stopped at the hotel late in the evening, we were accommodated with a view of the construction site, the room was all dirty, hair, dust, curtains torn, and this despite the fact that we were accommodated in a premium. The laundry is dirty. The towels are dirty. Of course, we have not seen this anywhere.
At night, work was done on the construction site, there was noise.
Naturally, we did not ignore this and went to sort it out at the reception right away.
We would have been moved, but there were no available rooms. The next day, because of the rooms, they wanted to change the hotel and had already agreed with the guide so that we would make an additional payment and safely get out of this hotel. But when they provided another standard room with a view of the pool, they changed their mind. The standard was of course cleaner and nicer (but still the old number)
Now they are undergoing repairs and they are closing the wing.
We looked there, if the whole hotel is going to be redone, then of course we can safely say that it is 5 stars. But now, of course, it's not 5.

Hurghada, as Mahmed says, is the capital of the Red Sea, after ten years it will brighten up. The hotel itself has no complaints, I visited this hotel three times with my family, the food is delicious, the beach and the sea are clean, speaking about bartenders, everything is OK everywhere, I especially want to emphasize Abdul's cocktail bar with Omar, they are the best. I would like to mention the number of rooms, the room is not bad, but there are some nuances, the bathroom is not in very good condition. Speaking of animation, a lot of things have changed in 10 years, the guys are great, but the fantasy leaves much to be desired, but it didn't stop my family and me from having fun.
If we consider our vacation as a whole, even these small nuances did not prevent us from relaxing and getting the maximum pleasure and enjoyment out of the rest, my score is 99% out of 100%
