This is a very nice hotel, great location and hotel is not crowded. The staffs at the reception are amazing. They also have nice rooftop bar and wide variety of breakfast buffet. Rooms and washrooms are spacious too

There are a lot of controversial emotions about this hotel, on the one hand, I really like their gym - it's just super and a spa, I must say that many other Double Tree hotels do not have a spa, but a micro gym. Breakfast is also good for my taste, there are local products such as horsemeat, baursaks, and sweet cottage cheese balls, etc. However, their mini fridges in the rooms do not work at all and they have not done anything about it for years, so if you have medicines that are stored in the refrigerator, be prepared to run after them It's very inconvenient at the reception! And if you bought food with you and also keep it in the refrigerator, it may not be found on the way out, leave time to put the squeeze on this moment. There was no magnifying mirror in the room, mold in the shower downstairs... if you open the window, it's noisy from several roads around. If you have a Hilton gold card, it may not be noticed, no welcome amenities like in other hotels, if anything, their excuse is that we are on a franchise, although this does not change the rules of the Hilton Honors program in any way.

I really like this hotel. We stop every year. The staff is caring, not annoying. Today, my son's phone fell behind the bed, and they came from the reception and helped solve this problem. Well, you can just write about the Hilton. Hilton is Hilton. The location is convenient, (at some distance from the road) private Parking, swimming pool, SPA, rooftop restaurant. Standard service. The rooms are nice and bright. I just didn't understand the track with the door to either the balcony or the fire escape (it was locked with a key) the bed is comfortable, the pillows are standard, the room has everything. The breakfast is excellent with elements of local cuisine. The pool was almost empty (in the sense of people), it was a pleasure to swim in the heat! Just one comment about the rooftop restaurant. Add more local dishes to the menu. The view from there is certainly mesmerizing to the mountains, but the menu is poor. It's good that there are restaurants with local cuisine within a 3-minute walk, but I wouldn't have tried anything. The price is of course a little overpriced, but acceptable. But overall, I am very pleased with the visit.

A gorgeous hotel. My favorite. Whenever I come to Almaty, I always try to stay at this hotel. Great view of the mountains from the room. An excellent on-site spa, a beautiful hammam with a starry sky, and a swimming pool. A spectacular restaurant on the top floor with delicious and beautiful dishes.

It's a very beautiful place. Delicious coffee, polite staff. The most beautiful view from the high floors, a sight to behold. It was only very cold in the lobby on the first and second floors. But it seems that this is not the reason for the hotel, but in Kazakhstan there are interruptions with gas (or heating). At least that's what they told me. There is a very cool graffiti next to the hotel! And I was also surprised that the hotel is located just in houses, among ordinary Soviet buildings :) As a tourist, I remember it all. I recommend going there!

The hotel is nice, the location is great, but it's old, and it shows. Not 5* that's for sure, because there are 4 better ones. But it is a very convenient place for business. And I will mention the spa separately - I liked everything there. I recommend walking in the morning, there are no people at all.
