The hotel itself is clean, cozy, very polite staff, the rooms are clean, there are all disposable appliances.

A great hotel in Almaty. Green, chic beds with snow-white linen, an interesting atrium, delicious breakfasts and good restaurants nearby. Of the minuses, the carpet is completely dead, the furniture is worn out, both in the corridors and in the rooms. But I think the management knows about it. Nice hotel. We stayed here with my husband. On the ground floor there is a gym, a spa area (massage, sauna), food and breakfast are always on top, very pleasant staff will always help. I recommend a hotel!

The hotel is very beautiful inside and out. The territory is also good, they are planned for the Soviet luxury. But the numbers are as old as go...but mammoth plumbing leaks, furniture made of old chipboard, bent beds....maybe not all the rooms are like that, I don't know. Ours were like that. 3 for the discrepancy between the external pathos and the internal morally and physically outdated content.

The hotel doesn't seem to be bad, it's beautiful, but there are problems with the room. Few people talk about this and few people will think that this is a problem, but THERE is NO OUTLET next to the bed, and THERE is NO OUTLET in the bathroom. You have to walk to the other end of the room to charge your phone. The TV is buggy terribly and the bathroom was cleaned terribly, so someone's black hair was in the Bathtub itself. I did not rest in the hotel itself. We rented an office in the Rahat Palace Business Center. Very nice, clean. There are a lot of vacationers. A lot of foreigners. The staff looks diligent.

несколько раз приезжали в этот отель в командировки. всегда оставалось прекрасное впечатление. и всегда рекомендовали его знакомым. очень удобное расположение, уютная атмосфера, хорошие номера, прекрасный ресторан и обслуживание всегда были на высоте.
в этот раз с самого заезда что-то пошло не так.
во-первых, нас пытались поселить с коллегой в один номер (при том что оплачено от компании было два), поселили в итоге в номера на втором этаже. И сразу же возник вопрос - звездность отеля и звездность номеров по этажам не должна как-то соответствовать? раньше ниже 6-ого этаже не селили и все было прекрасно. постоянным клиентом всегда были какие-то комплименты в номерах. но это ладно. баловство, хотя и приятное. второй этаж произвел впечатление отеля 3 звезды... и по удобству и по состоянию (грязные шторы и ковролин, убитая мебель, неработающий кондиционер. на балкон вообще не выйти - грязь, какие-то кабели проложены...) и по обслуживанию.
ну, ладно, заселились. т.к. было достаточно поздно не успели поменять деньги (есть проблемы с оплатой картами) оставили залог на ресепшен, поужинали в ресторане отеля (тут никаких нареканий нет! как всегда вкусно и красиво, несмотря на цены. но оно того стоит). на следующее утро уехали по встречам, днем вернулись - войти в номера не можем - ключи заблокированы. из-за того что сумма оставленного залога немного превысила счет ужина в ресторане! при том, что проживание было оплачено на 2-е суток, официально от компании. что это?!
если раньше можно было закрыть глаза на какие-то вещи из-за солидного возраста отеля (достаточно древняя обстановка номеров да и самого отеля), то при таких моментах - нет. больше в этот отель мы не поедем и уж точно не будем его рекомендовать.

Nicely. Nice. Mountain view. Delicious - which is important. A very pleasant courtyard, glazed from above. In general, from the point of view of aesthetics, everything is fine in common places.
But the furniture in the rooms is very old: both Soviet-era models and the condition is simply decrepit. And it pretty much spoils the impression.

5 stars is the humor of the Kazakhs ... From the outside it looks nothing, inside it is also good (not counting the crooks of the bartenders), but the numbers ... If in one word - killed! The floor is time to be repaved, the carpet is torn and there are hollows in the screed… The fittings on the windows are all wobbly… The bed is leaky and patched 🙈 5 stars in Kazakh. It's funny, but only when the company pays on a business trip, I would immediately move to another hotel for my own. BUT I'm not sure that the quality of the rooms will increase with the decrease in stars. But the food is delicious (European cuisine), so I put 1 star, otherwise minus five stars.

A very cozy hotel. A beautiful bright hall with a restaurant. Lots of greenery. A good SPA area. It feels like you're in the tropics. The only drawback is the old room stock. If you update the rooms, it will be perfect.

I don't really understand why this hotel has a 5.0 rating on Yandex! The hotel rooms are clearly tired - the wallpaper is peeling, stains on the ceiling, sockets are falling out (room 4415 - look at it, administration). Plus, not all employees know how the hotel accepts payments (for example, that you can debit cards from a credit card that is provided online). I ordered a transfer, which is 3-4 times more expensive than a regular taxi, we drove at night - so the driver also went to the gas station with me, excellent service.

The deluxe room is not worth the money. The breakfast is excellent, there is a restaurant and a cafe-bar 24 hours, a swimming pool and a hammam were included in the price. Conceptually old rooms, worn carpet and wallpaper, on arrival a compliment - a plate of fruit, biscuits, tea bags Ahmad, an old teapot. Smart TV does not load, YouTube slows down, then turns off completely. Samsung TV, mini fridge, no bar. Room service 24 hours.
Upon check-in, we had to call for additional cleaning - there was hair in the bathroom, an urn full of cigarette butts was not cleaned on the balcony. They brought a bottle of French wine as a compliment. The atmosphere is friendly, polite receptionists and the guys at the reception. In general, it is very atmospheric in the national style.

a very cool hotel. the age gives away the furniture, but the location, comfort and service outweigh this. I really liked that even at night you can have a delicious meal in the comfortable lobby bar. another advantage for those who travel for work is that there is a business center nearby with a bunch of meeting rooms and coworking.

Although Rahat remains one of the favorite hotels in Almaty, despite the fatigue of the rooms, this time it incredibly disappointed us.
The service is no longer the same. The check-in was waiting for 30-40 minutes, the employee at the reception was in no hurry. There is one dental kit, 2 sets of towels, 1 set of slippers in a room for 4 people.
The concierge was absent. The suitcases were dragged with her husband.
The SPA is not working. I was not warned about this. I saw the advertisement on the counter myself. We came here just for him. The price is the same and no buns for the inconvenience.

Плюсы номера типа Полулюкс:
1. Кровать большая и не скрипит
2. Холодильник, вайфай, 3 вида чая, приятные подарки гостям в виде печенья и абрикосов.
3. Два балкона и красивый вид на горы и парк
Минусы номера типа Полулюкс:
1. Не совсем чтстые обои ( в пятнах)
2. Абажуры на лампах в разводах, местами ржавчина.
3. Не удобное расположение розеток
4. За 3 дня пребывания занесли только 1 раз суточную норму питьевой воды
5. Положили табличку на кровать для необходимости смены белья. Табличка убрана, кровать заправлена, но смены белья не было
6. На столе оставили стаканы после чая, после уборки в номере стаканы просто ополоснули водой и перевернули( круги от чая остались)
7. В ванной нет розетки, например, для использования плойки
В целом, были рады побывать здесь, надеемся, что пожелания учтуться и вернемся сюда снова.

I especially liked the built-in radio and the multiroom function (sound in the bathroom and room).The location is almost successful. If you go and walk, everything is not far. Отель очень красивый изнутри лобби - оформлен в виде внутреннего дворика с деревьями и журчащими ручьями. Даже на этажах много зелени и деревьев.
Очень доброжелательный персонал, который постарается сделать ваше пребывание комфортным и исполнить любую просьбу. Люди здесь действительно хорошие.
В номере есть сейф, чайник, вода, пакетики с зелёным и чёрным чаем, сахаром.
Завтраки в целом нормальные. Есть меню для вегетарианцев, хотя и скудное по растительному белку. Рыба за пять дней проскочила один раз. Ланч-боксы при раннем выезде - один «эконом»-бутерброд, яблоко, кекс, бутылка воды, так что рекомендую позаботиться о своём сухом пайке самостоятельно накануне, так как в аэропорту тоже нет особо выбора.
Номера - на двоечку, очень сильно «уставшие». Даже не в плане дизайна, а по состоянию мебели, напольного покрытия.
Две розетки на номер, причём обе у стола, нет прикроватных.
Не рекомендую слушать прикроватное радио, можете не понять, что сейчас какой-то канал не работает, а утром проснетесь в 6:00 под звуки радио. При разнице во времени это не очень приятно.
Есть вещи, которые можно отремонтировать в номере, чтобы не портить впечатление - душевая лейка в ванной, которая не переключается, например. Если горничные убираются, то должны сообщать о таких вещах дальше в сервисную службу.
Слышимость из коридора и между номерами присутствует, как стучала кровать у соседей было слышно хорошо. А также слышно, когда горничные убирают номера при очень раннем выезде - как шумит пылесос и стучит по полу.
Изоляция оконной рамы и балконной двери тоже страдает. Так что улицу будете слышать. Думаю, при очень низких температурах зимой здесь может быть прохладно. Но батарея в номере регулируемая.
В номере несколько торшеров, но они не дают хороший свет. По мне проще включить одну лампочку на потолке и получить хорошую освещенность, чем четыре торшера и сидеть в полутьме. Горничным тоже, думаю, при таком освещении трудно разглядеть, где осталась пыль или крошки в холодильнике.
Поставила три звёзды только за хорошую работу персонала.

Приличная гостиница. Безопасность на высоте. Удобная парковка. Хорошая кухня, плов замечательный, мясные и рыбные шашлычки очень вкусные. Открытая терраса , расположена высоко, посторонние не видят посетителей. Удобные комфортные номера. И расположение между Цирком и музеем Кастеева.

Rahat Palace is one of the first high-class hotels opened back in the 90s in the then capital of Kazakhstan.
The central location, a high-rise atrium with galleries, transparent elevators, a yurt-shaped bar in the central hall, lots of greenery, comfortable rooms, high-quality service, delicious breakfasts. I stop with pleasure.

В целом позитивные впечатления. Был в середине февраля 2023, каждый день ездил из отеля кататься на доске Чимбулак. Посели на 10 этаже. Русскоязычный персонал, завтраки хорошие, баня и бассейн тоже, три телефона(можно взять из любого места в номере), балкон, вид на город завораживает. Из минусов, номера в отеле достаточно подуставшие, местами протёртый ковролин, сколы на стеклах и мебели. Есть холодильник (пустой), но если не оставлять карточку, на время отсутствия в номере он отключается.
