We stayed at this hotel in November 2024, and perhaps the most pleasant moment of our stay was that we could leave here in the morning and return only late at night.
From the very beginning, the experience was spoiled by the settlement. We were given a number that was supposedly better than the one we paid for, but in fact it turned out to be just a lie. As a result, it took two days to seek relocation, as the conditions in the original room were depressing — mold, questionable cleanliness. After much negotiation, the room was finally changed, and although it turned out to be mildew-free, it was otherwise underwhelming.
The cleanliness in the hotel itself leaves much to be desired. Cockroaches live in common areas, such as the toilet near the reception. They were also seen on the floor with rooms, and one of them was already dead. After that, it's scary to even imagine what's going on in the kitchen.
As for the food, it's mediocre and clearly saved. Watermelon is tasteless, the choice of dishes is poor, and the quality leaves much to be desired. Dinner is a monotonous menu: beef stew, semi—finished breaded fish, rice and potatoes.
The beach was also disappointing. We decided to give him a chance, but after two visits we realized that it was better to spend time on trips to Dubai at Kite Beach. The water at the hotel is muddy and dirty, and algae and even a dead turtle were constantly washing up on the shore. The hotel staff cleaned it all up only after the waves had washed the debris ashore, and while the turtle was swimming in the water, no one touched it.
The only thing that saved our vacation was a rented car, thanks to which we could leave this hotel for the whole day. If it weren't for that, the experience would have been even worse.
Conclusion: the hotel did not meet expectations, and there is no desire to stay here again.

A great hotel on the beach with a large swimming pool. Excellent staff. Very friendly receptionists at the reception. The food is very tasty. The room is great, the rooms are cleaned every day and new towels are given out. There are shops and supermarkets nearby, you don't have to go far.

A pretty good hotel on the first coastline. Crystal clear, warm sea. The beach is clean, with sun beds. The breakfasts are delicious. The staff is friendly, ready to help right away. The territory is not very large, but there is free table tennis, basketball court and lawn tennis.

It used to be one of the most beloved hotels. A couple of years ago, a lot changed. Maintenance staff. Many try and are very nice. BUT a big "BUT" spoils the very attitude of the protected and beach workers and by the pool. They have learned boorish Russian expressions and use them in full and think that they are "the most-the most". It really spoils the rest. Previously, an excellent chef worked at the hotel and now he has changed and the level of food has also changed, not for the better, unfortunately. There is a fur coat shop at the hotel. Evgenia works in it. He sells good fur coats, you can discuss everything and agree.
The hotel is located on the first line and it is excellent.

We liked the hotel, we lived in a bungalow. Daily room cleaning, clean beach, warm sea, friendly staff, cafes and supermarkets within walking distance, free shuttle service to 2 Malls in Sharjah, aquarium within walking distance. We had a wonderful rest.

Very comfortable hotel. Someone will say that the hotel is old, maybe, but very comfortable and cozy and the location is good. The room has: refrigerator, hair dryer, kettle, even an ironing board with iron. Tea and coffee are replenished, shampoos and shower gel too. Cleaned every day. It is very convenient that when eating HB, you can choose breakfast and lunch or breakfast and dinner yourself.
Towels are given out to the beach, there are always sun beds, but there are not enough umbrellas. The beach is private, the entrance to the sea is excellent.
The location of the hotel is also good, there is an aquarium nearby, there is a market nearby, a big supermarket a little further away

The rooms are cleaned daily, with the replacement of towels, making beds at a convenient time for us- vacationers. And without reminders. All the staff is friendly and speaks good Russian. Clean large towels are provided to the beach daily for free, there are mattresses on the sun beds. The buffet offers a variety of dishes for every taste, with or without sweet, you can eat delicious. And there are always protein products and vegetables, juices, coffee, tea. Everywhere in the Emirates there is a good attitude towards tourists from Russia. The sea is fabulous! Clean and very warm, which is a healing remedy for joints and skin. So all the vacationers sat in the sea water for hours. Such an outrage as in Anapa with algae, on the beaches in the Emirates have not been seen anywhere. All beaches are cleaned daily with floor washing around the pool and showers. Why can't they do this in the resorts of Russia, receiving a lot of money from tourists?! Of course, the choice will be in favor of the Emirates, if the authorities of Russian resorts do not take measures to restore order on the sea beaches of Russia.

The hotel justifies its 4*. As everywhere, there are flaws. If you are eating with three people, you definitely need to order an extra bed for a child at the travel agency. The hotel will offer it for an additional fee. There are shops at the hotel, a pharmacy is not far away. There is a place to go for a walk in the evening. The Sharjah Maritime Museum and the Aquarium are within walking distance.

We regretted very much that we chose this hotel. Terrible rules and disgusting attitude of the staff towards vacationers! Here you will be bullied like cattle from corner to corner. A vacationer is akin to an animal for them. This is especially the sin of the workers of the beach area!!! If guests come to you, they will be kicked out after 7 p.m. If you go into the water after 18 hours, you will be whistled in your ear until you get out of the water!!! Your passport will be taken away upon arrival (which is strictly prohibited) and will be given only upon departure!!! In a nutshell - a maximum security prison!!!
p.s. If you are young, athletic and active, then in this location (for those over 50+ you definitely do not belong).

An old hotel with appropriate renovation. There is no ventilation in the rooms. Cleaning is daily, but not super (mostly Indians are cleaned, or Pakistanis are men). The food at the hotel is not bad, but very varied, you will not starve. But there is a problem with drinking water. 1.5 liters per room and that's it. We bought it in a store 200m from the hotel. They also change the currency there. A lot of sun beds are broken. It is necessary to get up early and take seats, if the room is almost right on the beach, then it will not be difficult. There is no place to hang wet clothes, you need to take a rope with you to pull it where you can. And so, in principle, the rest is not bad, quiet and measured.

Cons- poor cleaning of the beach, broken deck chairs, umbrellas are not enough for everyone because money can come from other hotels, although the beach is private, so, as a rule, you have to get up early and take sun beds, if you want lunch or dinner, then the amount is very large, it's easier to go to a cafe or restaurant, even if you have to go by taxi.

We had a rest at the end of October. I liked everything very much. The staff is polite, there are Russian speakers. The rooms were cleaned every day. We only had breakfast: everything was monotonous, but you won't stay hungry. The hotel fully justifies its 4*. Everything is clean: in the main building, in the bungalow, on the beach, by the pool. There were enough sun beds for everyone. The sea is amazing. I recommend you to visit.

Surprisingly, in such a self-sufficient country, we felt so calm and confident, which we could not even dream of. Only 4 stars, but what they are!!! Fortunately, we have something to compare it with. Everything is in order and complete peace… Food, room, beach - worthy of a good 5* + very comfortable atmosphere created by friendly open staff. There is no doubt that we will definitely strive to spend our next vacation at this hotel once again… The noise of the street was a bit distracting, but we were so tired on excursions and walks around the city that in the evening we fell asleep like babies.

The hotel is not bad, you can find fault with anything if you want.The room has everything you need, an iron with ironing board and even scales, we cleaned and changed towels every day, I don't know how others even made our beds and we were lazy, the food is modest but everything is delicious, everything is always fresh and there is a small selection of dishes. Sweet tooth is not here, there are very few sweets. The main thing is the amazing sea. It's worth the money. We didn't regret coming.

We were in Dubai for the 3rd time, living in a hotel on the 1st coast, this is a separate thrill. But the food in this hotel is a disaster, the children had nothing to eat for breakfast, porridge is not porridge, pancakes in 2 days.
The youngest son suffered, we had to order food for him, I communicated well with the man at the reception, he ordered everything we wanted.
Or I went to the kfc at the gas station, a 10-minute walk. So choose either food or the sea.

The impression is made only by the location of the beach and the category of accommodation in a chalet on the 2nd floor with a sea view. Otherwise, a tired hotel with unfriendly staff, cleaning in the rooms on the loose, with not a cozy and small territory! I am not inclined to find fault with nutrition, but sometimes I want to, especially when you pay not a small amount for a ticket, so that at least a little there would be delicious breakfasts, and only fruits in syrup were charming at breakfast. We purchased a chalet with a sea view, and this, accordingly, is more expensive, and we were safely identified in a chalet in the parking lot, despite the fact that we were standing at 01.00 at night at the reception with a child. Plus one good location of the hotel, near the city very beautiful and well-groomed beach! We will not please this hotel with our presence anymore, and they probably won't be upset, because there are enough people like us, I wish good luck to those who are heading to this hotel now!

We stayed at this hotel from May 21-31, 2024.we arrived late, immediately placed in room 891, because we were with a child of 5 l. we put an extra bed.the renovation in the rooms is a bit old, well, everything you need is there (kettle,gels, iron.refrigerator, ironing board) the room has almost no window, well, this is rather a plus because the sun and heat are less felt!cleaning every day.The food was taken 3 times a day, there are no complaints about the food, meat, fish, chicken daily, without frills, but everything is fresh and delicious.Only watermelons are made of fruits!The best part is that the sea is very close!!!the water was 32-33gr.A couple of days is not a big wave!We did not take excursions from our tour operator, because it is almost twice as expensive.there are small shops with sweets on site, the prices are very good!!cheaper than in the supermarket!The main building on the top floor is undergoing renovation.it can be seen that the managers, though slowly, are still trying to carry out updates!I wish there were more greenery on the territory!!!

Very budget hotel. Food 🙈- level up so as not to be hungry. The rooms have a heavy aroma of essential oils. The beach was clean, the entrance to the bay was gentle and comfortable for me, fish were swimming. There was no swimming in the pool, but it was clean enough. There is very little greenery on the territory, even in winter, when the sun is not scorching.

Today, on November 18, our vacation at the Carlton Hotel in Sharjah ended.
The hotel is declared as 4 stars, but I would put a good three.
The hotel is for a very relaxing holiday, there is no animation, there is no entertainment in the immediate environment either. Sunset at 17 o'clock and it turns out there is nothing to do after, we ourselves went to Dubai, I note that it is not close, they offer a transfer at the hotel for 2 thousand, they carry free only in Sharjah to two small shopping centers.
The most wonderful thing here is the sea, warm, 25 degrees, clean, the approach is gentle and not far to go to the depth, convenient for both children and adults.
The beach is private, the plastic sun beds are ordinary, but most of them are broken, the mattress saves. There are enough sun beds, but there are few umbrellas and it is extremely unpleasant when you come at 7 in the morning (according to us at 6!), and the places in the shade are already occupied by things, although there are few people on the beach.
The hotel needs to do the installation of umbrellas for sure!
There is a swimming pool, sun beds with umbrellas near it.
Beach towels are provided daily.
There is a shower on the beach, but the nearest toilet was in our room, the rest probably at the reception, not very convenient.
Also from the positive I can note the work of the staff, the tables are quickly cleaned in the restaurant, the food is replenished even at the end. Room cleaning is also normal, shampoos and water are replenished (1.5 liters)towels are changed daily.
The food is average, but we didn't stay hungry. Minus the lack of fruit, there was only watermelon for lunch and dinner, canned for breakfast. I saved the store in the hotel mainly with sweets, but also with an excellent inexpensive mango! Respect for this!
About the rooms: we had a chalet with a sea view, but this is a very strange sea view, the sea is on the side of the chalet, you can see until you go into the room, and you go into the room, and there's not even a window, it's dark and not very pretty. The plus is only three steps to the beach. Bathing suits had to be dried on chairs in front of the entrance, some also pulled a rope themselves before entering.
There is also a dark reception with a low ceiling . I was not in the rooms of the main building, but at least it is clear that there is a door, and opposite there is a window with a balcony and a view of the sea.
