This is the best public beach in Dubai, where you can swim till the sunset. The sea is clean and mostly calm, comparing with other beaches. Many lifeguards, every 100 meters. Free toilets and free public showers are available. More private showers, sunbeds and umbrellas are available for additional fee. There are lots of restaurants and cafes nearby. Two parkings are available: free at the surface (although it’s almost full all the time) and underground for additional fee. If you are OK with walking, you can park on the free city parking in the neighbourhood and walk for about 15 mins to the beach.

I liked the beach. Beautiful, stylish and clean. There is a shower with a token receiver, but if you go a little further, then there is also a free one. There are a lot of stylish things around in the form of art objects, graffiti and installations. The place is very photogenic and comfortable. I recommend you to visit not only for swimming, but also for walking. I'll update the review. We visited the beach again 9 months later. Sadly, the place is falling into disrepair. The pavilions are closed, it is clear that no one is watching the infrusture, everything is getting old, but at least they are cleaning up and the shower is free at the end of the beach. Apparently someone went bankrupt... Nevertheless, the beach itself is accessible, and the water and sand here are some of the best in Dubai.

Unexpectedly, the beach was closed in the area from 16.00 to 17.00 and people were simply kicked out of the beach by security. A normal public beach. There are a lot of non-working buildings, there are several street food shops for snacking (fresh food, ice cream, smoothies, fast food, tea, coffee, water), there are paid showers and toilets in the form of colorful houses, but there is also a free shower. I didn't find any changing booths open for money, so I went into the paid shower, didn't pay, and just changed there. The sea is calm here, there were small waves only once when the wind picked up from the sea. There aren't too many people, but I even liked it. Umbrellas, bag chairs for money, I haven't seen sun beds. The further away from the sea, the more garbage there is (cigarette butts, sunflower husks) A residential complex is being built in relative proximity and the sounds of construction are heard periodically.

The beach in March 2025 was abandoned and looked more like ruins than a place to relax. They promise to renovate it, but it is not known when. Sun beds and umbrellas, which used to be in a separate fenced area, are missing from the hotel. The hotel offers accommodation at a nearby beach club by appointment. During peak season, you may not get there if you don't sign up early in the morning. Previously, there was a real paradise here - infrastructure, restaurants, cafes for every taste and budget, beautiful and well-maintained territory. Now there is nothing but sand and sea.

On Palmbich, the beach is concrete, it feels like it's lightly dusted with sand, but here it's really a sandy beach. We explored the entire La Mer space, a very atmospheric place! By the way, the toilets and the shower are very clean, cleaned all day. Security is in constant motion, and rescuers have been working like clockwork since 8 a.m., especially for parents with young children!
