An atmospheric place! It was delicious (we took draniki, draniki with machanka, drachanka (if I write correctly), dumplings, pork), the portions are decent, the service is good. When asked to top up the beer to 0.5, they apologized and calmly topped up :) A wish for pickles: less than half, a third of the portion by volume - and it is not possible to eat it :(The rest of the vegetables are delicious.

The place is beautiful, but to eat in an empty hall, you will need to sit for half an hour first to wait for drinks, and then after another half hour - the main course. Moreover, they will bring one, and they will not carry the rest.
The waiter forgot about us at all. We went three times ourselves and reminded them that "hey, how about serving us." Ugh!

The worst dinner of all time traveling in Belarus. The dishes were brought cold; there is one bulion in the borscht, the dumplings are store-bought and cold!!! The most expensive and not delicious dinner. For a restaurant of Belarusian cuisine, this is a bad idea!!!

A very interesting, non-trivial place. For the decor and interior definitely 5! The weak side is service and food. We were at lunchtime. Borscht is very weak...they carried it for a long time and the soup was cold. The martini asked for ice and lemon. Alas, there was no lemon slice in the RESTAURANT... Drinks were served only with hot dishes, and I wanted an aperitif. The used napkins were taken away only with plates... For a restaurant in the very center of Brest, as a business card for tourists - the service needs to be raised!

There are practically no questions about food, but when you come to an institution for lunch, it means fast delivery, not only did I spend more than an hour waiting for my dishes for my lunch, so they brought a hot dish first, with a separate meal, then French fries and only 10 minutes later soup, since they forgot about it. The menu said soup with cabbage and pork, and as a result, there was not a single piece of pork (the waiter clarified in the kitchen and we were told that the soup was made with pork broth, and not with pork. This was expected). I was at lunch in many establishments, kaza certainly lags behind them. Definitely not here for lunch, you can go in the evening

Since I am writing this review at the time of the gastrofest, first about the institution, and then about the event itself.
I must say right away that there is no bias or, conversely, an additional one.I don't have any buns for this place, since I was here for the first time.
In Brest, probably, except for Rynkovka, no one possessed (until today I opened the doors of Kazy) such an original style: crafts, cutters, installations, decor, up to the color scheme of plates and mats on the tables!
A rather important point will be to note the presence of a hanger with a maintenance worker and a restroom BEFORE entering the hall itself. That is, there is no running around: I came, sat down, ordered, went to wash my hands, returned...and all the visitors are in the same circle. A trifle, but noticeable.
Also, from the little things, it is worth emphasizing the observance of the temperature regime of the premises in winter - there is no water from the snow on the floor, the batteries are burning like crazy - it is warm and cozy. I will attribute the menu more to the national one, which gives a huge potential when participating in the gastrofest.
I will proceed to the evaluation of the event itself. I don't know what the chef was guided by, that he followed the indiscriminate path of others, to make 4 dishes instead of 5. What the hell is the right tactic! After ordering one gastroset, you are brought two steamed plates in which - yes, imagine, there is something to put. Do not divide 50g, but quite normal portions for this money, which is even enough for both. A great selection of dishes! In comparison with other establishments, this is clearly the best in terms of price-quality-"goodies".
I think it is right to express my gratitude to all those who have made efforts to create a place in which to spend time comfortably. Thank you for the good impression of your establishment to the entire chain of participants: from the head to the waitress Anna.

We were in this institution on 06/14/2013. The menu is quite poor for the national Belarusian cuisine. There were 2 dishes on the menu "Vereshchaka", "Tytskalo", which were not available. It is quite difficult to choose food, nothing interesting, we were led to a high rating, but in the end we remained hungry. The soup is sour, the pear with chicken breast was also not impressed, the breast was made thin and dry. They do not indicate the full composition of the dish, "pork neck in a pot with vegetables" instead of potatoes, zucchini was put and MUSHROOMS were added, how can this not be indicated, people may be allergic to them!!!!!! A fight that is cooked for 45 minutes is simply not possible to eat, *** potatoes and boiled onions. We were very dissatisfied with this institution

Baby nuggets with potatoes and cheese sticks are made from frozen raw materials.
Some of the dishes were already brought cool (dumplings, borscht), the fat does not have to live through the skin at all, and it takes a very long time to cut it off with the available devices.

The plate with Belarusian pickles was not full (there was no pickled garlic), but the squash is very tasty, and the cabbage is not pickled or pickled at all. And it costs quite a lot. We ordered 6 dishes. I liked one thing.
Lard, as if you bought sliced bacon in a store.
Tytskalo (one of the most expensive dishes) is just a pot of sauce with a very small amount of meat. To the waiter's question, "did they mix it up?" they answered - try to look at the bottom. So it remains to joke that we just ordered a very expensive sauce for potatoes.
"Vereshchaka" is one (in the sense of just one bone) expensive not baked rib.
The waiter was pouring beer from a bottle in front of us. I was tired and just took away a third of the bottle.
