An institution with an interesting renovation and high ceilings. It is located in an excellent location on Lenin Street.
The breakfasts are simple, tasteless, ugly, they look unappetizing, The service is such that you have to catch the waitresses running past with sour faces. The staff is kind of worried, it looks like a flock of sparrows huddling together. No one will come up and ask how you like the dish, maybe you want something else delicious.
We were at 11 a.m. on Saturday, May 13th. There was no live music.
Everything is good for a C grade. But if you only come here to sit and chat, drink coffee /water, then it's normal. Prices for everything are high, but this is absolutely unreasonable. The pleasure of being there, yes. Not from eating.

The best restaurant in Minsk I've been to.Excellent location.The decor is partially preserved in the style of Stalinist buildings + modern interior design!VERY tasty food (everything that was ordered was fresh and perfectly cooked).The waitresses are beautiful and very sympathetic girls!!!The couple celebrated, in honor of which they received pleasant words and a delicious bird's milk cake!!!I advise everyone and I will definitely come back!!!

I was in Minsk with my husband on business. I was looking for a place for breakfast, so that there would definitely be pancakes (this, by the way, turned out to be not so easy). I saw "Belarusian breakfast" on the menu, so we stopped at the Golden Scallop.
The first thing that pleasantly surprised me was the live music. As if the food is better under the piano))))
We took the above-mentioned Belarusian breakfast and spelt with avocado and poached egg. Both dishes are very tasty.
The desserts are awesome, the coffee is on the level.
The staff is polite, the interior is very pleasant.
We will definitely come back to Minsk next time. And I advise you

First of all, bravo to their pastry chef. A very subtle sense of balance of tastes and inventive craftsmanship. Walnut tart is 10 out of 10.
Secondly, the service is unobtrusive and at the same time fast. Before we knew it, the order had already been delivered.

Update: after five wonderful plates of onion soup, I had to face two terrible ones. They brought a completely salted soup with mashed onions and questionable croutons. I asked to redo it, but the second time they brought exactly the same thing, assuring that the cooks had tried the soup and did not feel an abundance of salt 😵💫 I couldn't finish this horror, I was extremely disappointed 🙁

A very unpleasant experience! We came with a group of friends for breakfast, immediately the cons: no one met, they did not come up to take an order for a long time. Then the girl still accepted the order, returned after a while and informed us that they could not cook breakfast for us. Breakfast is until 14:00, time is 14:03. To say that we are shocked is to say nothing, we chose for a long time and all the dishes were ordered from the breakfast section. The waiter accepted the order without saying a word, besides, it was not yet 14 o'clock at the time of receiving the order. The manager also couldn't help us, saying that the chefs refuse to cook according to the breakfast menu!! Our jaws just dropped, customer focus is at zero. As a result, the institution lost 6 customers at once, naturally we do not recommend this place to anyone. By the way, only a couple of tables were occupied, the business needs customers - but apparently not this one. They went to another place
