Hello. We celebrate birthdays in this institution for the 3rd year. Everything was great, the food, the service, there were no problems with parking. Yesterday, 02/12/2022, we celebrated our grandmother's anniversary, we booked it in advance. First of all, we faced the problem of parking, it turned out that there is now a restriction on opening the barrier. Second of all, the service was probably a new inexperienced waiter. They came up to us after about 30 minutes only. The wait for the dishes was over an hour. They brought hot food right away, after the salads. The chicken breast turned out to be the longest to wait, the beef was brought earlier. All the dishes were barely warm. Such a long wait was justified to us in this way: "You all want to eat together." However, everyone who came after us was served much earlier, people were already eating desserts while we were still waiting for at least some food. It was one of the best places, but we won't come back here anymore! The holiday was ruined!

A review about how the Golden Scallop ruined my wife's birthday. We were going to start celebrating our birthday with a delicious, as it seemed to us, breakfast at the Golden Comb restaurant. Arriving at the cafe at 10:30, there were few tables available, but they were. The waiter offered us a table for two near the bar, he came up to us. We made an order at 10:36, two coffees, breakfast "Belarusian", "French" and waffles with pistachio cream. Coffee was brought to us quickly enough and then the long wait for our order began. I note that we were sitting near the bar and the entrance to the kitchen was nearby. Every waiter saw us coming out of the office. I think this is an important point. After 30 minutes, waffles were brought to us. We asked if our main breakfast was missing and we asked for waffles as dessert. The waiter left the waffles on the table and said that our breakfasts would be brought to us soon. Unfortunately, it soon lasted for 10-15 minutes, but breakfast was not brought. Since we were limited in time, we couldn't wait to bake a baguette and grow potatoes for pancakes. After leaving a review in the book of complaints and suggestions, we were forced to leave this institution "hungry" at 11:20. What I would like to note is the following: 1. Why does the institution have a practice of replacing the waiter at the table. This is important because one waiter took our order and brought coffee, another waiter placed the dishes on the table, and a third brought waffles. 2. Why did the waiter or the receptionist leave the office? of course, the question did not arise, "Why have the guests been sitting without an order for half an hour?". At the same time, the tables that were nearby and ordered after us, all the dishes were brought quickly enough. 3. If for some reason there is a problem with the order, why did the waiters not approach us and did not talk about the delay in the order. I would like to note that we had to find out the fate and readiness status of our order on our own while waiting. 4. It was very sad that the administrator realized that we were "burning" with anger that we were not going to wait for the order, and did not even offer options for resolving the conflict. Perhaps such cases are not uncommon in the institution and it is easier for them to accept the negative from the client than to look for ways to solve them. 5. If you have a heavy workload in the kitchen on weekends, then there are solutions to such situations: Bring out more chefs or just tell the guests that the waiting time for breakfast has been increased and they may have to stay for lunch. 6. If the administration cannot provide high-quality service to its guests, then it may be worth just making cakes to take away. Conclusion: A spoiled birthday, a negative opinion about the institution. It is a pity that the cafe has been located in the city center since 2006 and offers such a service to its guests.

What was our surprise that there was no way to leave a tip other than in cash? I hope that the management will read this review and come up with something. We are living in the 21st century, gentlemen. Come up with a qr code or at least the opportunity to transfer it by card (there is such an option in another fashionable institution in Minsk). I hope that the issue of non-cash transfer will be resolved before our next visit.

Darkness... we stood for 5 minutes waiting for someone to pay attention. The receptionist was dragging tables! The waiters were sooo busy. The menu on the website differs from the menu that was offered to us in the restaurant, the waiter said that the menu of their other restaurant was probably on the website. I liked the atmosphere and interior of the restaurant.
It is located in the center, which is actually why we came here, because the weather was bad and I wanted to sit down somewhere already. I did not like the dishes, the serving and the ingredients do not pull at all at the prices that are set for these dishes. For example, a salad of vegetables "farmer's" is cheap plastic vegetables from a supermarket of pale color, tasteless and odorless. Pasta is served like at home, the portion is small, they brought it barely warm. I have something to compare it with, in Moscow at the same prices, or even lower, there will be a Michelin-starred restaurant with delicious dishes and high-quality products. And here is a simple menu, the usual serving - the level of a very average cafe (at least our dishes for 3 people), does not correspond at all to the price and entourage of the restaurant.
