A very unusual and interesting museum. The archaeological exhibition is beyond praise. It is worth going to those who are interested in the life of people and the history of the development of the region. There are guide services, but you can just take a guide at the entrance. It's free, you only need your headphones and a smartphone to read the codes.

The ancient city is impressive right in the middle of the museum, very interestingly done. There are many exhibits, each exposition is painted in three languages. They're showing a movie. It's a pity there is no toilet in the museum building.

I was at Brest May 2025 and this is the worst investment of money, and the price tag is 18 rubles. There are few performances, few exhibitions, no masterclasses announced, people smoke in the crowd, only folk songs pleased. There's a problem with toilets for so many people. I recommend this place on normal days, then 5 out of 5

An interesting place, tickets are not expensive. You can take a walk there, everything is informative. It was done interestingly, there is even a small cinema hall where they talk in detail about the museum. As I understand it, part of the excavation was buried back for safekeeping.

Very informative. The exposition is good and interesting. But for a full immersion, it is better to download the application by code at the beginning of the exposition. The app is a sound guide to the museum. I liked the ancient building of Berestye the most..

It's great that you found it But there are many questions. The purpose of these log cabins is questionable. And the location relative to each other is strange. It doesn't really look like a village.

It's very cold, there are no excursions, for some reason 3 grandmothers are sitting, they don't even know how to turn on the audio guide. The exposition is very interesting, but it would definitely be more interesting with a guide.

An interesting place. It is quite small and informative at the same time. It is interesting to see such ancient wooden buildings in person. The complex itself with a glass roof looks very modern.

It's a real miracle that everything is so well preserved. Walk along the edge of history. I would like the excavations to continue.

The museum is not big, in my opinion it is necessary to take an excursion to tell about the local inhabitants of the Middle Ages. But there was no time. Amazingly preserved wooden buildings - residential and household, some up to twelve crowns of logs, moreover, wooden pavements have been preserved! I don't know if it's worth coming here on purpose, but if you're already in the fortress, then you can go in, transfer from the twentieth century to the tenth or twelfth... May.

Ohhh, it's Birch Bark. This place left a good impression for us. We visited without a guide and everything was clear and very interesting. A lot of artifacts. The excavations of the old town generally impressed us. That's how much people needed for a few living meters to live. Not like now, we are building mansions. And the question arises: what is all this for? After all, in fact, a person who works for days needs little. A table where to eat, a stove where to cook and a bed to sleep. I advise everyone to visit this place. It is very interesting and informative!!!👍👍👍👍👍

A very interesting museum! In the center there is a pit with a recreated settlement, on both sides there are exhibits found during excavations. We used the free audio guide (downloaded the app and scanned the code, there was an instruction on the wall). The exhibits are well preserved (11 centuries!), as they were in a humid environment. The 13-year-old son was happy to listen to everything "from cover to cover" I recommend!

An interesting museum. Preserved wooden log cabins of the 13th century are under the glass vault. I recommend booking a guided tour. It is quite compact, informative and pleasant here. Maybe we were just lucky to have a guide, or maybe it's just a place that's so inviting.

The complex has great patriotic significance. Very careful care of objects. I was amazed by the view inside the church. The foundations of buildings and ruins are mostly left of the former fortress. I recommend a visit with a guide for a full understanding of those events.

It's a wonderful museum, and I highly recommend the audio guide, especially since it's free there. Just going in and looking at it will be fast and boring, but listening and looking at it is another matter entirely. We really liked it, there were a lot of people during the visit, but everything went quickly and we were able to enjoy the visit.

A very interesting museum! It is obligatory to visit with a guided tour! We were there with friends, took a guided tour, we were very lucky and the head of the museum conducted it for us. He talks very interestingly and is ready to answer any question. Many thanks to Roman Alexandrovich for this informative tour!

It's interesting as a story, but for 1 time. Because the exposition is small, there are not enough emotions. It would be more interesting if the guides were in costumes with the effect of immersion in that era, maybe they could make some productions. And so we stayed there for 10 minutes

Modestly, but that's what archaeology is for- little, but valuable. The exhibits are interesting. The hair combs were impressive, such thin teeth and it is handmade. But there are doubts. Having the opportunity of woodworking and having knowledge of construction, heating, these structures in the exhibition are more like outbuildings. But I liked it anyway.

An ordinary museum, which presents exhibits of the everyday evolution of the inhabitants of the settlement from the first known days of its foundation. The main difference between this museum and others is the ancient remains of dwellings. In general, it is informative and interesting.

The museum was a bit disappointing. Archaeologists searched for a city, but found a village of fishermen. It was impossible to admit it. We spent a lot of money, so we called it all a city. In my opinion, this object has no special historical value.
