The exposition was not impressed. It's nice that admission is free, although it would be better to pay and learn something interesting. The building itself is quite interesting from an architectural point of view.

The museum is beautiful! It is unique not only for Belarus. We decided to take a guide to find out more about everything. It is necessary to book the tour in advance. If you want to come on weekends or holidays, book strongly in advance. We had a male guide. Unfortunately, it was very unsuccessful. I think his name was Alexey, but I'm not sure. The memorized text was speaking. He spoke rapidly. Despite the fact that there were only four of us, he did not pay attention to us - it was interesting for us to listen to him, whether everything was clear - he did not care at all. It was practically impossible to insert a question, clarify something in the course of the story. I highly recommend a tour of the museum, but be sure to carefully choose a guide. We were disappointed with the tour from a particular guide. But the museum itself is beautiful

A real preserved excavation site with a good additional exposure. The ticket price is 16.6 Belarusian rubles (approximately 500 rubles) for an adult, two schoolchildren and the right to take photos, and it's worth it. It is located across the bridge from the Kholm Gate of the Brest Fortress.

The birthplace of the city of Brest. A significant place. I recommend to visit. How little people needed to live on earth... The most mysterious thing is that this place is located two steps from the Fortress-hero Brest.

The place is interesting, it's worth a look. It seems that these houses were inhabited not by people, but by Hobbits 😁

An interesting exposition about the life of the Slavs at the confluence of Mukhavets and Bug. In the center there are preserved elements of houses and pavements of people who lived here. At the top there is information about crafts and culture along with the discovered antiquities (tools, skeletons of pets, clothes, jewelry)

An excellent example of the museification of archaeological heritage. Adding toilets and a good souvenir bookstore would be great.

The main exhibition is the excavation of wooden buildings, which can only be viewed from above. There are a small number of archaeological finds around the perimeter, a little bit of everything. There will be more in any local history museum. But for young children who are not interested in wandering around the halls of the museum for hours is normal. The children were most interested in the mini-cow and the Beresteyka cat, to whom you can whisper your wish in your ear 😃

The museum is located on the territory of the Brest Fortress complex. It was opened in the early 1980s. The basis of the exhibition is the unique buildings and household items found at the site of the ancient settlement, dated from the 10th to 13th centuries. I strongly recommend you to visit. A real, living story. The staff is willing and interesting to talk about the exhibition. For a deeper dive in a separate room, you can watch a film about the history of the search and excavation of ancient Birch bark.

It's a very interesting place. When you understand with your mind that all this is more than 800 years old, it's hard to see. It's great that we have the opportunity to see this.

A great museum, leaning on the parapet with curiosity, looking down into the depths of centuries from above and wondering how our ancestors lived in such small houses, and then walking along the perimeter of the museum, examining authentic artifacts and new clothes .... I advise you to visit.

It is convenient that we arrived without an appointment for the tour. They immediately organized it. The Mir card of the Russian bank is working. Tatiana conducted the tour for our family. She told me a very interesting story. In general, I really liked the exposition. The museum is original. To be honest, I was even amazed. To see with your own eyes the dwellings of your ancestors who lived eight centuries ago on this earth is amazing. The archaeological finds are curious. And yes, I must pay tribute, the guide is wonderful!

The exposition is interesting, but the cashier was terribly rude. She said that the card payment "no longer works" because she turned off the terminal, and today (04/24/2023) is a short day, although the day before I was told by phone that the museum was open as usual until 18:00, and there was no announcement on the door. However, after 3 minutes, when a family with children who did not have cash came, the terminal miraculously turned on)) Well, needless to say, they didn't give me a check or a ticket after paying in cash.
