The Archaeological Museum "Berestye", on its territory there are excavations of streets with the boundaries of buildings, around there are showcases with descriptions and finds at the excavation site. There is an audio guide, it is interesting to see, it is worth a visit.

In general, it's not bad, but I'm probably not an archaeologist.

An ancient settlement that has been preserved. At first glance, it seems something nondescript, but if you understand that this is an opportunity to understand how our ancestors lived, to touch history, then you understand how unique this place is. And how much effort was put into preserving it

Well, being in the Brest fortress, it's a sin not to look in. History, after all. And non-repetitively / for a long time, as in some museums.

Very cool! But the question arose why each exhibit has an inventory number, even though they are hundreds of years old. Why are houses put together at random with ties and sockets attached to them? There are so many unanswered questions

A very interesting place! For the first time in my life, I saw the result of a real archaeological excavation like this, in fact, at arm's length. The sensations are not transferable! I highly recommend you to visit.

An interesting and visual museum. You can quickly walk around and see many old objects and dwellings in the excavation. Inside there is a pleasant smell of some kind of humidity - I liked it)

The remains of an ancient wooden city are on display, the size of the buildings is quite surprising, but in general nothing special.

You can come in, but nothing special. It would be nice if the dates were also added to the description on the stands, otherwise it is not clear what period we are talking about

Amazing: it radically changes the idea of everyday life and people's lives a thousand years ago. Of course, someone will say that the ancient Romans already at that time built civilizations instead of weaving bast shoes, but it is definitely worth seeing and mentally transferring to that time and place!

I was on an excursion to the Brest fortress. Visit the archaeological museum. But after taking a look at the exposition, he did not go in. The day before, I visited Nesvizh and Mir castle and therefore I would hardly have been impressed by anything at the exposition

Atmospheric. The video clip is a must-watch. He tells how the museum appeared, how archaeology worked in the USSR and about the history of Brest itself

If you have come to Brest and come to the fortress, it is worth visiting at least for the sake of the excavated settlement. It looks impressive, along the perimeter of this settlement, as if in the form of a balcony (the excavation is naturally below the floor), there is an exposition. It's not very big, but it's also interesting to see. The time for the detour is 30 minutes.

We wouldn't have gone on purpose. But since it is located 100 meters from the Brest fortress, we went to see. It's probably interesting with the tour. And so is a set of logs that was once a village. For general development, I recommend going in. The tickets are not expensive.
