Number. We were relaxing in a room with a sea view. We were settled at about 11.00. the room was given 316. I will immediately note that you will always have a sea view, even if Island view is specified. The room is spacious, modern, with a large shower and just great mattresses (my back has never hurt all the time). The only small flaw is an unpleasant smell from the refrigerator. Still, during the absence of guests, it would be nice to turn it off and ventilate.
Food. Of course, they took AI. And do you know what I want to tell you? For 4*, this is a very rich AI. There are cocktails, imported alcohol, delicious juice, Coca Cola, Fanta and more. I don't know how some of them couldn't find something to eat, I was picking up 3-4 plates at a time. Meat is different (chicken, beef, lamb). I don't like eating fish at home at all, but here it's so delicious that I ate it every day. Seafood was also available sometimes. Coffee from the coffee machine. And of course the legendary waffles, for which I stood in line for 15 minutes. But they are worth it. However, I stood like this 2 times and then I became lazy)). And by the way, there is a 16+ zone in the restaurant, which always has free seats if you arrive without children. There you can enjoy your meal without the hustle and bustle.
Beach. How big he is! Considering that in March it was only half ennobled, the rest of the beach was visible that it was "for the future", now they have ennobled it completely, and it has become really huge. The shell sand is wonderful, shallow, the entrance to the sea is smooth, without sharp breaks. Since the beach is located in a bay, there are no waves, swimming is a pleasure.
For the rest, I will say briefly. The bar has imported alcoholic beverages, canned Austrian and Dutch beer. Animation was not so important to us, so I can't comment on it somehow. There is no deposit, there is a tourist fee. For this hotel, the tourist fee was 15 dirhams per night. It is paid on the spot, I paid in dirhams. I changed rubles for dirhams in advance at home))

We had two vacations in this hotel in November 2021 and April 2023.The rooms are clean and cozy, cleaning every day. There were always free sunbeds on the beach, it was hard to find them by the pool, but you can find them. I was at this hotel at the end of November 2023 and I can say the following:
Positive:
1) The hotel is beautiful, new and tidy.
2) Good and varied food
3) Cleaning and safety, you never worry about your things.
4) All rooms have a view, as there is water on both sides.
Minuses:
1) Poor sound insulation in the rooms
2) The reception staff is not the most responsive, there is no adapter from an Arabic outlet to a European one, there is no HDMI wire either, they give out 1 can of beer in ONE hand, that is, if you want to take beer on yourself and your wife, be kind enough to drag her with you.
3) A bad beach - there are bulls underfoot that are not cleaned, in the only toilet on the beach it feels like they are not cleaned at all.

For a long time I chose a hotel where I would be comfortable. I came to the Emirates to celebrate my birthday. Visually I liked this one, I looked at the reviews and was very surprised by the comments about the monotonous breakfasts and the allegedly unpleasant sand at the bottom of the bay. I didn't notice anything like that at all. We rested for 7 days and for breakfast we offer 5 types of eggs in different versions, several types of cereals, salads, various pastries, all kinds of sauces and toppings, drinks, a lot of everything and they didn't get tired of the whole week.
Since this is an artificial island, there is not much sand there, when you go into the water, you feel the shells under your feet, the bay itself is the purest ... I admired it every minute of the time spent in it. There are always plenty of sun beds on the beach and by the pool, even if you come later, it's not difficult to find your place.
Drinking water by the pool costs 10AED. The on-site kitchen is delicious, exactly the one that is not included in all inclusive: pizza, bruschetta, salads, French fries, coffee.
Very nice and responsive girls at the reception, speak Russian well.
Our room overlooked the bay and the pool, sometimes we woke up to the sounds of entertainment on the beach that ride on the water. We cleaned the room every day, water, tea and coffee were always brought, and when we moved into the room, there was a sign on the bed with the name of the girl who cleans our service.
On my birthday, the hotel gave me a pie and two swans of towels were placed next to it, they didn't forget about it, it's so nice!
After 14:00 h, there is no sun by the pool anymore and we smoothly moved to the beach where there is plenty of sun. We took inflatable sunbeds on the territory of the hotel (free of charge) and swam on them. Rescuers are sitting everywhere and watching the vacationers. The beach is equipped with buoys.
This hotel has left very pleasant memories about itself and organized a perfect vacation for us! Every evening we listened to live music from the room and danced. There was not a single moment where we were upset about something, everything will be solved here and everything will be organized. Thank you!

We rested from September 2 to September 9, 2024. We arrived at the hotel at 11:00, checked in at 12:00, although checking in according to the rules of the hotel at 15:00 is a positive moment. The room has a smart home system- a touch panel on the wall - the room is nice, new furniture, but there are no brushes, razors, bathrobes, slippers. The big disadvantage is that there are ants in the room, they lived on the 1st floor. The breakfast is good, omelette, scrambled eggs are always freely available, without queues, as in Turkey. There are many free modern coffee machines. Lunch is terrible, there was never anything meat, only side dishes and snacks. Dinner is also lame, sometimes chicken or goulash is made from meat. Therefore, it is not possible to fry meat on the street and fish on fire, it is unclear. The sea is good, the hotel is small without a territory, the pool is very small, there are a lot of people. At lunch and dinner, there are always queues at the beginning, then there is a decline, it happens that all the seats are occupied and you have to wait for 10 minutes until the table is free. Algogol is standard, beer is canned. The evening program is meager, it's the same every day.

It is quite difficult to unambiguously give any assessment or recommendation to the hotel.
It seems that everything is more or less, but it seems like a bunch of flaws (from minor to really annoying) that whisper that you no longer need to come here.
This is the sixth time we have been vacationing on Marjan Island.
We have been to the DoubleTree three times, once to the Marjan island resort (now Pullman), once to Movenpick and now to Hampton, so I have something to compare because all these hotels are located 200-400m from each other.
I will not write about the remoteness of the hotel, and the entire island from Dubai/Abu Dhabi, and indeed any civilization - I think those who travel here already know this. Dubai is 100 km away. The price for a taxi is 200aed one way (if you want to go yourself).
It is difficult to write something about the advantages of the hotel. Ie, you take something for granted (for example, that the hotel is new or that there are Russian speakers at the reception), and not as a plus, but what is not taken for granted, you attribute to the cons. There is no wow effect from anything.
For myself, from the "more positive", I highlighted that in public spaces the kondey is set up normally, and not in the cold. Although maybe now it's just such a season (the second half of April) that they don't turn on the air conditioner at full capacity. Also, the food in the restaurant is quite tasty and the set of dishes is quite diverse.
Many reviews write about the very friendly staff - I don't know, I haven't met them. I'm not picky myself and I'm friends with everyone like a capybara, but after reading the reviews about the staff, it was interesting to see. As a result, yes, the employees are not rude, they do not roll their eyes, but there is no friendliness either. It's just an ordinary job for people, ordinary, without a smile and cordiality. But there is an exception - the staff of the children's club. They are really friendly and smiling.
Catering is a tin can. Of the people you will see in the hall, only the person with the pizza manages to work. There is always a queue there, but it diverges as quickly as possible.
A person does not have time to eat waffles in the morning at all (in principle, it surprises me that so many adults line up for waffles in the morning). He has five baking machines that are separated by a rack with bread on the principle of "three machines - bread - column - two machines". As a result, there are two queues for these devices, which do not understand the principle of distributing waffles. A person is running, waffles are burning, the queue is angry, waffles are torn, etc. I.e. put all five baking machines next to each other and maybe the person at the distribution will have time to cook them so that they do not burn and distribute to everyone.
Similarly, a man at a barbecue on the street - for some reason he copes with grilled chicken chops and there is a stock of ready meals in the "tray", and when he cooks beef/ chiken kofta, then everything is a queue, lazy handing out two koftas in his hands (which are the size of a children's spinner).
Next, drinks - for any meal, there is a queue of "tubir" and "white Wine". It is poured mainly by one employee. Yes, he runs and tries, but if there were two of them, it would be more fun.
The waiters are just clearing the table. That's it. Again, if they had accepted a drink order, there would have been at least 1 less queue.
The arrangement of the dishes is probably correct from the point of view of logic. First the side dish, then the main course, then the salads.
