We arrived at Sharjah airport in March. We were here for the first time, before that we flew to Dubai. The airport is more compact than Dubai airport. When transferring from one flight to another, the dimensions and weight of hand luggage are checked. When we took off from Domodedovo, the suitcase was allowed into Russian luggage, a tag was hung up, it was not allowed to board the plane in Sharjah, they forced us to pay for $ 10 as luggage and took it to the luggage compartment. We went to the airport to the check-in area. And then one departure board began for the entire check-in area, consisting of five zones each with 20-30 risers. and it wasn't the truth that we found this scoreboard and it turned out that our flight was delayed for 3 hours, but I have no complaints about the airport. However, there is a difficult situation due to engine failure in Moscow, the plane was forced to make an emergency landing and because of this, all flights were delayed. Well, we accepted the idea that we would have to spend three hours at the airport waiting for check-in, but while we were waiting, we walked around the airport and then, to our surprise, it turned out that check-in for our flight was open, although nothing was written on the inflationboard. Next, we checked in and went to the waiting room. As for that, everything was fine, we ate and bought souvenirs. Well, to the time indicated on the scoreboard(16:50) we arrived at the departure area and there we found that the crew of our plane was not even on board yet, but its commander was talking to someone on the phone and after 10 minutes they still went on board
After another 10 minutes, they started to slowly let us on the bus and what do you think the driver came on the bus after another 15 minutes, we got to the plane in 2 minutes and then the driver got out of the car again and we waited for another half hour on the bus , and after all these 7 hells , they started letting us on board and flew well
In summary, the airport is not bad enough, but if your flight is delayed, prepare for the seven circles of hell and the loss of nerve cells

The airport is very small, the location of the exits is very stupid, there are no cafes or anything at the exits. The business lounge is one name, the food is a nightmare, the choice is small and only Arabic cuisine, do not risk it with hummus, it is almost always sour, what they do with omelets, we still do not understand) the staff in the business lounge at the reception is arrogant, reminiscent of Soviet guards, neither hello nor goodbye. They really like to block half of the business hall, so that people are forced to sit at tables in cafes, there are not enough seats on chairs, and they also like to close half of the cubicles in the toilets so that everyone lines up in long queues. In general, if you want to go there, try to fly as soon as possible) by the way, I will say that I even like the airport in Bangladesh in Dhaka better, at least there are friendly and adequate staff)
