The airport is normal. Not Dubai, of course, it's more provincial. You can't go inside until the check-in opens, this is a minus. I had to stay in the room at the entrance, where the air conditioner and uncomfortable chairs were beating unrealistically. But at night we passed all the control procedures very quickly and went to the business lounge. The business was quite good, food, alcohol, lots of space.

If the transfer is from 5 hours, then I recommend that you quickly go through passport control through the smart exit and go to the sea! It's only 20 minutes away! There is a shower on the beaches, but they don't give you a towel. You will not be able to withdraw money from ATMs via Unionpay of Russian banks. If you do not have cash currency with you, you can buy 100 US dollars with a Union Pay card and exchange them for local currency, and the YUP card is already working in the city. Not all taxi drivers have a YUP. And so in the UAE everything is thought out, works clearly and quickly.
