Small, comfortable (but very cold))) airport. Going out into the city and going back in is no problem. Change the currency too. There is a 99 bus from the airport to Al Jubail Bus Station. From there you can go to Dubai. Or walk about 3 km to the beach. There is free Wi-Fi at the airport.

A convenient airport, we flew in transit ... the staff immediately upon arrival where to go for a transfer suggest. Air Arabia itself is a low-cost airline.. and nutrition needs to be taken care of in advance. But there is a large selection of snacks at the airport itself.. There is a McDonald's on the food court.. which made me very happy

The most disgusting airport in terms of organization and in relation to people. We arrived at 7 a.m. and 3 a.m.!!! 3 hours!!! We were queuing for passport control. Everyone was in line-children, women, and the elderly. The kids were yelling, no one was letting anyone through. And the border guards giggled slowly and barely worked.
If there is an option to fly to another airport, fly. Not here

There is a wonderful and delicious cafe where you can eat delicious and inexpensive food in a cozy atmosphere with views of airplanes.
For smokers, there is a mini smoking area with an excellent extractor hood right in the cafe.

The airport is small, cozy, clean, comfortable. There is a smoking area near the airport. Everything went quickly at the reception desk, there were no queues, I easily arranged for a place at the window. Border guard. the control is electronic, through the door turnstile (as in the subway in Moscow) the pole scans the face and when the green tick lights up, you can pass. Next, a metal detector and an X-ray of hand luggage are standard, and everything quickly went to the waiting area. If you go to the waiting area of the local Gate 22 (down the stairs), then it's cheaper there, I bought a combo meal - shawarma with chicken, a small bag of chips and a jar of pepsi-everything cost 15 dirhams. At the Gate 19 departure there is a vending machine, there is ordinary water in a bottle of 1 dirham. In dyutik, prices are low, especially for local perfume, cigarettes as in Moscow-the price is the same.

It is not conveniently located - far away, taking into account the traffic, it is a long and far drive. The airport is convenient, but small. In comparison with Dubai... D Duty free is certainly not Ice… But a big plus is that there are quite a lot of local zones where you can pass the time before the flight, in addition to going on duty free, there is also a dining area where several outlets with completely different cuisines are presented. I recommend Trying the Asian one - it's quite good. clean, the food is cheap enough. The waiting area in front of the plane is small, but comfortable, there are toilets everywhere, salty rooms for Muslims, minus- not very clean, but I think this is not a miscalculation of the hosts, but the attitude of the guests ...🙈🙈🙈 .
