It's a good airport.
Both the arrival area (fast customs control and fast baggage collection) and the departure area have many check-in counters, for those who have issued online check-in for AirArabia flights there are separate baggage drop-off counters - 7 and 8.
There is a very good duty-free and food court area, due to the flight delay of 3 hours, we had to move to the business waiting room - also very decent.
Throughout the airport, Wi-Fi, union-pay cards (Gazprombank) are accepted everywhere.

I warn you right away that there is no toilet in it. But strong alcohol is poured into 2 glasses. At the same time, in order to get into the hall, you need to stand in line. At the same time, I don't know what the principle is, but the locals come first. One good thing is that you can drink water everywhere in the fountains.

There is a food court area, I recommend walking around and comparing prices, complex breakfasts and lunches can be cheaper than one sandwich, as well as coffee and water, there are free coolers, coffee vending machines if the flight is waiting a long time in the transit zone.

Sharjah Airport is small (okay if it's 300 meters long), there are a lot of people, there are not enough seats. Sockets in a minimum number and those with a USB connector are all broken, and the European plug is not supposed, only the British version with three pins.
Duty free offers only consumer goods made of expensive sweets and even more expensive alcohol. There are no clothes or any other goods in Duty free. The prices for everything are incredibly high – an ordinary toothbrush is 1000 rubles, a knitted doll is 10,000 rubles, the simplest refrigerator magnet is 800 rubles. Food on the food court, on average, is at least 30 dirhams.
There are few restrooms, but there is a smoking room, so the toilets are clean and do not smell of tobacco, as in Russian airports.
On the positive side, it is free Wi-Fi without registration throughout the airport and drinking water in fountains.
I had a transfer of 7 hours, which is too long for this airport. Plan for no more than three hours of transfer.
If you are flying by transfer, then take your time to the gate area, there is absolutely nothing to do there, but you can easily go back to the Duty free and food court area.
