Advantages of staying in a hotel:
1. Proximity to public transport and good location
2. Large rooms, there is a balcony
3. There is a choice of food for breakfast, but there were not always free tables, either there are none, or they are dirty and no one is in a hurry to clean up. There are tables on the street, but flies constantly interfere. There are a lot of people at breakfast, like an anthill, everything is swept away on the move, one coffee machine and queues.

1. Old rooms and old furniture (up to the 28th floor), when choosing a hotel, we were shown beautiful rooms and good repairs, but in fact the old rooms are dirty. At the reception, they said that in order to live in good ones, you need to pay 100 dirhams per night, since the tour operator booked the old ones for you (Biblio Globus). It turns out that they fell for the picture, but in the end they regretted it (since they chose between several hotels and those were closer to the beach). I always had to ask for the second one! The expectations were long! The room cleaning is disgusting! By the way, they also begged for toilet paper all the time! Terrible service! The first time we got like this on vacation! The food in the "canteen" (I won't call it a restaurant) is meager. Our daughter, son-in-law and grandson flew with us for 8 years. The child was not given an extra seat! Although they paid for a room for three! And the ratings are already so big! The sofa that stood in the living room did not fold out! They began to sort it out at the reception. We were told that it turns out that the concept has changed since October 1 and now you have to pay 100000,00 extra for a separate place! We contacted our travel agent . It turned out that no one was informed! We ordered the tour in August, you know? How could we not be indignant and try to come to an agreement. A great hotel for your money. It is very conveniently located. The metro is 1 minute away from the hotel. Dubai Marina is 15 minutes away, but Burj Khalifa is 25 (by metro). Breakfast is at the 4* level. There are accessories, but you need to ask. For a tip, there will be a full set and even more) There are various cafes and supermarkets nearby.

The hotel is very conveniently located, right at the metro station. Three stops from the JBR beach metro station, in the other direction two stops from the Emirates Mall metro station. They went everywhere on their own or by taxi.
But here we got into a downpour in Dubai on 04/16/24, and found ourselves imprisoned in a hotel, the subway did not work for 3 days, there were no taxi drivers for several days, it is not possible to get anywhere. Therefore, we spent time only at the hotel, the pool, the fitness room is good.
About the weather - if you see that it will rain with a thunderstorm, stay at the hotel, do not go anywhere, it is dangerous in Dubai. They have the entire infrastructure running at once.
Our compatriots decided to spend a rainy day in the malls, and when they left in the evening, the subway was closed, so there were no bridges, and people had to return to the hotel by car at night in knee-deep water. No tourists were warned about such a disaster.
Some with children did not dare to walk 5 km to the hotel at night, they spent the night on a bench in the shopping center.
About the hotel - we checked into a nice room in the evening with a view of the Sail and the bay. But at the reception they wanted to give us this room at first for an additional fee, the Russian girl at the reception decided the issue, since the room was already well paid.
The room was not prepared for 4 people, the kettle did not work, the sofa was barely disassembled for children.
I gave 4 dirhams and brought an iron with an ironing board.
Water was not brought to the room for 5 days until they complained to the manager . Although we told the cleaners that there was no water in the room (1 bottle of water per day is allowed), it was clearly not enough, we went to karefur every day to get water.
Bathrobes were also not given, a week later I called the reception and brought them, I immediately asked for 4, and they brought) it is very convenient to go to the pool in them, and in bad weather it is the most.

The elevators in the hotel work very strangely, they had to wait a long time. They also seem to be out of sync with each other. Number five! 2 bedrooms, living room, 2 bathrooms, 2 balconies (38th floor).
The service is unobtrusive: the towels were not left after cleaning, the water was not brought, and so on. On request, everything is brought, though not quickly (water, towels, bathrobes, slippers).
The location is the main advantage that 30 meters from the entrance to the subway passage is fast and cool in summer.
The breakfasts are simple, with an emphasis on local cuisine, but generally good. Watermelons and melons were in June.
The pool is frankly small for such a large hotel, but if you really want to swim, there is an opportunity.
Carrefour is a 15-minute walk away.
We tried to walk to the sea in the morning - it didn't work out) the nearest beach Al Sufouh (40 min walk) was closed.
We used a free transfer to the Outlet Mall - it's still a pleasure - an old bus collects people from 5-7 hotels and goes to the Mall (about an hour there, back faster). But there was something on sale in the Mall, much cheaper than in the Dubai Mall.
It is convenient to use an ordinary city taxi, especially a large train - a family of 2 adults and 3 children (7-15 liters) all take sedans in a taxi without problems.

We stayed at this hotel in mid-January 2024. A good four even by Dubai standards.
Positive:
1. Location - the entrance to the metro station is close to the hotel building. The location itself is exactly in the center, at equal distances from all key attractions.
2. The rooms are large, comfortable, two-room, the view from the window and from the balcony is amazing, remember for a lifetime. The only thing is to take the Skyline view room from the 28th floor and above. It is important.
3. The price - in January it was very simple for a hotel of this class. I still don't understand why it's so cheap. Now in February it is much more expensive, even taking into account the season.
4. Staff - there are Russian speakers, always eager to help and solve any problem. And where there is a misunderstanding, an extra 5 dirhams of tips work wonders.: The staff will bow to you like magi until all your questions are resolved.
5. Daily there are 2 transfers from the hotel to the beach, Kite Beach, a very atmospheric place, we liked it very much. And a transfer to the Dubai Outlet Mall every day is also a useful thing. I'm not a fan of clothes, but you can really buy cheap first-class things from the officials there.
Minuses:
1. The highway is audible. It didn't bother us, we slept like babies after the day's adventures, but I admit that particularly sensitive natures will be unhappy.
2. Queues for breakfast - sometimes you have to wait for staff to wipe the table free. Well, in general, there is a lot of fuss, there are a lot of people. The quality of the breakfasts is good.
3. Elevators - sometimes you have to wait for several minutes. My wife was a little stressed by this, I'm fine. It depends on the person again.
What else to note: every evening, on days of the week, there is some activity in the hotel restaurant. We had a seafood buffet on Friday evening, we really liked it. We have never seen so much marine exoticism, and the ritual with serving and serving is at the level of the best restaurants. I highly recommend it, the specifics of this particular hotel.
There is a swimming pool in the hotel and a gym, but we never used them - there were too many interesting things around, we only came to the hotel to spend the night and have breakfast.
Next to the hotel there is a block with skyscrapers, Barsha Heights. No one writes about it in the reviews here, and in the evening walks are just amazing on it.
In total, subjectively, I would give this hotel a solid five. But I am a lover of budget holidays without unnecessary claims. By my standards, one of the two best hotels I've stayed in. Only the "five" was better in Thailand. But if you are not strapped for money and are used to the level of the Hilton and the most luxurious hotels, then you will not like it here, the hotel is still democratic enough. A good level, but without unnecessary luxury. At the same time, in terms of price-quality ratio, it is one of the best hotels in Dubai.
