A wonderful hotel in the new part of Gagra. A warm heated pool, clean rooms - all with sea views. Breakfast won me over the most. Considering the number of people staying out of season, it was just amazing. Everything is cooked a lot, tasty and very soulfully. The staff is helpful.

The pool is small, but you can swim. The food is delicious, you will not stay hungry. Coffee beans only for breakfast, then instant. The waitress girls are not very nice. The pool at the hotel is clean and warm.
The rooms are beautiful, clean, and cleaned every day. Towels and linen, bathrobe. Everything is new and snow-white and a towel for the beach. We arrived after lunch. We didn't know where to eat. Khachapuri and tea were prepared for us.

A wonderful hotel, deserves 5*!
The first line, the view from all rooms to the sea and mountains. The hot water pool allows you to have a great rest out of season.
Wonderful buffet food, a variety of delicious dishes, although some were sometimes over-salted, but this is for an amateur. There are desserts and wine in the evening, fresh coffee in the morning.
Good location in the city center, comfortable rooms with everything you need. The staff is very polite and ready to help you quickly with any questions.
- Everything is perfect, but the cleaning is lame. The rooms are initially clean, the cleaners are friendly, but they create more of an appearance of their work. Bed linen and towels were replaced on the 5th day and for 9 days they did not wipe the dust and sink, only refilled the beds.
I would also like to do some activity for adults in the evening, for example, add board games or a movie evening.
I would like to express my gratitude to all the staff, waiters, chefs and owners of this hotel. I wish you prosperity and further development. I will definitely come back again!

Upon checking into the hotel, we were pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness and varied table, but after the first night we wanted to escape from there, despite the high cost of accommodation. So
1. We lived on the side of cafes, of which there were 3 pcs on the street, music was rumbling from each (from 18:00 to 24:00), the feeling was as if I was sleeping at that cafe at the table, and not in the room, the windows rattled, the benefit of the music turned off at half-past 1, but the after party began, the music turned on in cars , with bass , with drunken screams and car horns
Allegedly, the hotel warns everyone about this, but personally, neither when booking nor when checking in, there was not a single word about it.
2. The pool on site is terribly dirty, mold on the walls, the feeling that it has not been cleaned since the launch of the hotel
3. There is no possibility to be in the corner with hammocks, because there are containers 2 meters away that are never taken out, the terrible smell of garbage spreads to the entire swimming pool area
4. A fetid stream with a canal flows a meter from the beach area, there is also no desire to go into the sea after what you saw
5. In addition to music, a barbecue is constantly burning in nearby cafes, from which ashes fly in huge chunks into the windows

On the second day we found out that there is rotovirus in the hotel, there is no heat treatment of dishes from the room, those dishes are in front of you, just rinsed (if rinsed) under the tap , 100% of children vomit and sleep , adults are lucky , the child began to vomit on the second day , did not have time to run to the toilet , stained the bed a little , the maid refused to take it , wrote it down as spoiled , or asked to wash it ( in the shower apparently or in a small sink))
9. No WiFi , neither the TV is working , apparently the administration believes that the music from the cafe perfectly entertains the residents
We ate only at the hotel ( the food is delicious , questions about the processing of dishes , if all the residents are sick with rotovirus ) , swam only in the pool , there is only one option where they caught the infection - av sokol
After much wrangling, they were moved to a room where the windows overlook the opposite side , the hotel Abkhazia , at least they slept peacefully last night, but barely waited for departure from there, asked for a refund ( they wanted to leave earlier ) - they were refused ( customer orientation is completely absent )
Bottom line : we do not recommend visiting

We had a rest from December 31 to January 5. We went with families, booked 2 rooms. I'll start with the mattresses they write about in the reviews. They were replaced a long time ago and now they are very comfortable and comfortable. The bathrobe, towels are very clean and smell delicious of powder, there are slippers, soap accessories too. The room is very neat, the furniture is new. Cleaned every day! And they did it in the morning and very unobtrusively. The food is very tasty, the menu is varied, everything is fresh. Those who wrote about rotaviruses-this is not the problem of this particular hotel, it is generally a problem in Abkhazia (however, as in other countries during the tourist period). The staff tries very hard to keep the hotel clean and comfortable. The location is certainly TOP, but I can't recommend it to those who like silence. There is a cafe downstairs, there is music until 00.00. The noise of music in the room did not bother us much, as we went on vacation and realized that noisy cafes would not do without. The view from the window is very cozy. There are indeed dogs on the embankment, they are very calm and not aggressive. In general, there are a lot of them in Abkhazia, but people try to help them and it pleases. We met several families who come to Sokol for the third time -this is also an indicator. The hotel is decent! I didn't really want to leave. We will definitely come back.

All families have Rotavirus on the second day of their stay (they ate exclusively in hotels). 2 Starting from 18-00 to 24-00, you become an involuntary passive visitor to a cafe on the street, the music screams very loudly, double-glazed windows rattle, you have to speak in your room in raised tones. For those who wanted to relax on vacation, it will not work out to go to bed before 24-00, Sometimes it seems that the waiter of the neighboring cafe in your room will start serving you. By the end of your vacation, you will definitely learn all the words liver from the repertoire of a nearby cafe (you can choose 3 of them nearby). 3. There are not enough umbrellas on the beach from the hotel, of course there are plenty of paid ones nearby. Bottom line: you will have to go on vacation again, but never to this hotel again! The hotel must decide: either the cafe next door or the regular customers of the hotel. Rotavirus will hopefully win with the cafe, I'm not sure.

We rested in av Sokol from August 20 to August 29. The hotel itself is modern, clean rooms, cleaning every day (special thanks to the maid from the 3rd floor). The food is good, varied. But.. There is a stream near the beach, the stench of which spreads throughout the area, which does not pass either in the morning, afternoon, or evening! If you're lucky, the wind will blow from the other side. And rotovirus, almost everyone is sick. The reason is not clear, we drank only boiled water. He caught up on the 3rd day, he felt sick until the end of the rest. So we did not experience the charm of the hotel's kitchen. We don't set foot in Gagra anymore.

I was with my wife for 10 days in this wonderful hotel, service, fire area.
And now for the cons:
All the food is full board and it's all with the same smell, after eating, I'm constantly sick and sorry for the expression diarrhea. We tried to go to restaurants, everything was fine and we felt good, but we started eating at the hotel again and everything was new.
Opposite the silver breeze restaurant, the music screams until 12 at night, or even later it happens, it's better to take rooms (if you still stay) on the other side of the hotel.
The simplest pool, there is no heating, no slope at the bottom for a comfortable entry into the water.

A lovely, cozy hotel.

The food is great, we like everything.
As for the people who write about very loud music, you guys came to rest on the common, music does not bother us personally, with a closed balcony it is barely audible.
The rooms are good, everything is clean, the bathrobes in the room are very cool, some things are thought out to the smallest detail, for example, a bottle in the room for water, the room key is a rubber bracelet that can not be removed.

I do not recommend this hotel. We had a rest at the end of May. Boorish staff. The administrator, Rodion, communicated with the guests on the mat. All complaints about him to the administrator were unsuccessful. The administration is not interested in the problems of the guests and does not respond to them.The hotel staff discusses the guests and makes comments to them (this is the norm for this hotel), the administration also did not comment on this disrespectful attitude towards the guests. No one provided the receipt and the accommodation agreement (these documents were requested in writing). A lawsuit has been filed. We stayed at the hotel for 2 days, it was enough to ruin the whole vacation in 30 days.

We went to the hotel from August 26 to September 3, 7 people. After 3 days, everyone came down with the virus. Then they spent their vacation fighting this infection. The beds in the standards are reinforced concrete with a mattress pad of 5 cm. The mattress in the two-room room was normal. The rooms were booked in February with a 50% prepayment, and as a result we got a 2nd floor with a view of the garbage dump. The staff is not friendly, no one smiles or greets. The kitchen is also so-so, porridge for breakfast was the best and broth for lunch. Snacks and salads are the same, rolls of products from yesterday's table were added. Sweet is generally darkness, there is nothing to choose. Fruits are apples and plums. The beach is nice. By the way, the river did not stink of sewage and the water in it was icy. The local dogs drank this water, the local child was sitting in it at all. The hotel is on a solid C-grade. And of course the nature is amazing! With rotovirus, the hotel needs to solve something, at least to quartz the premises. Shalman "pearl" from the 90s with a 40+ disco, this needs to be cleaned up.

We had a rest at the hotel in early September. Everything is new and clean. We didn't have any terrible mattresses with the springs coming out. The room was cleaned well, both towels and bed were changed. The Internet is excellent, the TV also works via the Internet. Loud music from the cafe "Pearl" did not bother us. The balcony was closed - and almost nothing was heard. This is a resort town, not a remote village. Where else should there be music and fun .
Yes, we also had rotovirus. But is this the problem of the hotel, and not the whole city? They get sick in the neighboring hotels too. All this is due to the accumulation of people and sewage flowing into the sea.
