Perfectly located hotel, wonderful staff, good breakfast and would recommend to anyone who wishes to walk from hotel to touristic locations.

Thanks to the owner and staff of the Garuda hotel (Sukhum) for excellent service, delicious food, care and comfort!

The breakfasts and dinners are delicious, there is always something interesting, fruits, desserts and bombic jam! Which you can then buy, as well as chacha. Not many names are prepared, but everything is fresh, hot and homemade. Although sometimes it's like in a restaurant, it's exquisite.
The rooms are originally decorated. We lived in deluxe, Japan.
There are nuances: audibility in the rooms, a small pool (by the way, it was cleaned when we were there), there were not enough cosmetic bags: cotton swabs and discs. There are many other cosmetics, including a dental kit. The bathroom floor is very slippery, there would be some mats so as not to fall.
The staff are professionals! The girls at the reception solved all the issues, called a taxi. The girls in the restaurant even offered blankets (we ate on the terrace), they always ask how the rest is, they look after us.
Milana told us about other hotels in the Garuda chain, it became interesting, we want to go there too.
The hotel is well located. Nearby there is a market , an embankment, and shops.

Good afternoon! We had a family vacation with two children aged 6 and 3. In short, I liked everything very much!!! Read more: Food-every day there is something new for breakfast and dinner, very tasty, it is impossible to stop eating) The service is excellent, the girls at the reception are very polite and friendly. Everything is fine with the cleaning, too. And in the restaurant and at the bar, too, cool wonderful people work, they find a common language with children with a bang! My son has been asking for 2 days when we will "go to my uncle" again (in my opinion, his name is Atakhan, but I can make a mistake, I hope he won't be offended). The hotel itself is very interestingly decorated, different floors in their own style. The bottom line is this - if there was a small children's room/children's corner - I would put 6 stars. and so far only five)) thank you very much for the rest, to all the hotel staff and the management, of course, too, for the staff selection!

Excellent and the best hotel in Abkhazia! A chic, expensive designer interior. Expensive tableware and interior items. I would like to mention a very comfortable anatomical mattress, blackout curtains, a well-thought-out hotel space and room decoration. The hotel staff is a special thanks! When you enter the hotel doors, you are greeted as if you are the only vacationer in the hotel (VIP guest) for them. Cordiality, hospitality, politeness and polish. Gloss in everything! The staff was amazing! The shine and purity are perfect! Separate applause for the cook, the restaurant staff and the kitchen. It's not just food. Every day there was a festive banquet of delicious dishes. Very tasty food made from high-quality natural products of proper preparation. The waiters of the restaurant are young girls and a guy, a bartender (they have created an oasis of comfort and bliss) perfectly perform their duties and unobtrusively take care of the guests (they will cover them with a blanket when it is cool in the evening on the veranda and never ask to leave the restaurant after its work is over). Many thanks to the owner of the hotel for creating such a designer themed hotel, creating an atmosphere of luxury, beauty, comfort and picked up such an excellent staff! I visit Abkhazia every year. Now only to my favorite boutique hotel in Sukhum. It's been like home for a week now, but still under the impression of delight with pleasant memories. Thank you!
P.S. Very convenient location - the center of Sukhum. 10 minutes walk to the Makhajirov embankment. Nearby there are shops, a market, bakeries and alcohol markets. The prices are much cheaper than in Pitsunda. It takes 10 minutes to get to any beach in Sukhum by taxi. By the way, I downloaded the Garuda taxi app and comfort cars always arrived.

The most magnificent place. We spent 10 days here and were very satisfied. Polite staff, cozy room. The chefs deserve special praise.🥰 We had breakfast and dinner included, everything was cooked at the highest level (meat dishes, salads, kebabs, various rolls) on Wednesday evenings, live music played in the restaurant.😎 A separate advantage is the location of the hotel. Close to the sea and the beach, it is convenient to build routes to local attractions, establishments or banal to the market🙂

It's just great for Abkhazia . Everything is brand new , comfortable mattresses , crisp white linen , comfortable pillows . The room has a mini bar with very reasonable prices. 10 minutes walk to the sea. A separate respect for dinner is not a huge variety , but everything is simply delicious from the presented - 2 types of kebabs , potatoes in the very heart . The staff is polite and friendly , everyone will tell you where and how to go , what to see . We'll be back later

Among all the hotels, Garuda is the best. The polite staff will help and prompt, the food is always delicious and varied - everyone will find their own. Rooms are clean, cleaned every day, location in the city center:It takes 5-6 minutes by car to the embankment.
The tour from the hotel was great, thanks to Alaska.
As a minus, the poor sound insulation of the room, if you are lucky with the neighbors, it will not hurt in any way.
The pool is small, you should not count on it.

Great hotel! Friendly staff, wine, as a welcome upon check-in. All issues were resolved quickly and clearly. We left the bag there, they sent everything. Food is a separate topic! It is delicious at home and varied. The rooms were cleaned every day, clean, everything is in order, the bed is soft and snow-white, there are enough towels, tea and a kettle in the room. The hotel itself is stylish and beautiful. The center is about 15 minutes on foot, the market and car rental are all nearby. The sea and the beach are a bit far away, but in November we just enjoyed the beauty of Abkhazia!

Minuses:
Dirty balcony, air conditioning leaked in our room, for 10 days, it was never repaired. After my request, a water bottle was placed.
An extra bed for a third person (in fact, it is an ordinary cot), how can an adult sleep on this do not understand?! This is a "sofa" for a 3-year-old child.
The cleaning is mediocre, stains on the tiles, cracks on the wall. Inconvenient in time, they came at 15:00 when many people are resting in the room.
The breakfasts are so-so, monotonous, the omelet is tasteless, a lot of cold dishes.
The reception staff are sleepy flies, asked to contact me about excursions, no one wrote or called me. They take a long time to respond to requests.
In general, the hotel itself is not bad, but these fat disadvantages spoil the whole impression.

I chose the hotel by chance and did not miss. Friendly staff, delicious food and a cozy atmosphere. We went to a meeting and helped arrange a transfer from Adler Airport. Moreover, the group is less than a day before arrival.
The coast is a 10-minute walk away. There are shops nearby.
The hotel itself has a small heated swimming pool. I liked everything. I spent my birthday 100%!

The hotel is excellent, fresh and beautifully renovated. The service is excellent, any issue will be resolved quickly. The buffet breakfast and dinner were excellent, we rested for a week, the chefs tried to surprise us with something every day. The topping table is a delight.🙏 All food is fresh, always in abundance no matter what time you come. In principle, with such a buffet, you can do without lunch) the staff is super friendly. We took a deluxe room, added a baby cot for free and there is still room for children to play. I recommend a super hotel. The perfect combination of price and quality.
The only thing I can put a minus for is the pool. Although he is small, the child counted on him very much, but he turned out to be cold. Power outages are constant throughout the city. 🤷♀️

A "boutique hotel" with a swing to "expensive rich", in fact an ordinary hotel. there is only one name from the pool. the rooms are generally clean and tidy, but the mold in the bathroom on the hair dryer wire and sockets was very confused. nice and friendly staff, really hospitable. the bar is acceptable, but the buffet did not meet expectations, it is very difficult to find something really tasty

We had a vacation with my daughter in October, the hotel is really good, interesting design, I've heard a lot about it before, but I wanted to see it with my own eyes.It is a very stylish and interesting hotel for Abkhazia, it is clear that the project was implemented with all my heart and soul and is in great demand not only among tourists, but also among local residents (in 4 days we saw 3 weddings here). But from here there are small nuances - our room was already a little tired (cracks on the walls, etc.), but I hope it will be updated by the season.The staff is very responsive and attentive, friendly, always trying to help, the hotel has an atmosphere of peace and tranquility, as if you are visiting good friends.The food is very tasty, there is no huge variety, but several types of meat, vegetables,salads,2 types of soups, desserts, fruits, but everything is very tasty and homemade, everything is fresh. I would like to thank all the hotel staff for their hospitality and cordiality. It would not be tactful to mark someone. Everyone knows their job and everyone is trying. Upon arrival, they are greeted with a glass of homemade wine. Everything is polite and correct. We were at breakfast - they are very, very decent, everything is delicious and homemade. There is a choice. The hotel itself is conveniently located in relation to the main attractions. The embankment is within walking distance. The hotel is well maintained, clean. The room was deluxe. I chose the hotel mainly because of the food and did not regret it! The food in Abkhazia was not very good, everything was great here. Varied, delicious breakfasts and dinners. The saxophone plays on Wednesdays.

Good location, I'm staying at this hotel for the first time, I really liked everything, from the friendly staff, to the wonderfully delicious cuisine and beautiful places around. The rooms are cozy, clean, comfortable bed, there is a table for work, clean linen, white towels. My vacation fell on the date of my wife's birth, on her birthday, they came for breakfast, there was a wonderful surprise, turned on music, brought out a cake and champagne, congratulated with a beautiful Abkhazian toast and upset my wife))). A wonderful hotel! My daughters were in Abkhazia on autumn holidays: This is the most comfortable place of the three hotels where we stayed. The rooms are clean, the smell is fresh. Bathrobes, slippers, cosmetic kits, mini-bar - everything is there.

This time we got a small room, but that's okay, most of all I was not satisfied that the room was next to the elevator. Contacting a hotel employee named Madina, the problem was solved and in the morning we were transferred to another room with a gorgeous view and away from the elevator. We ordered a two-room room with breakfast and dinner. I really liked the buffet. The dishes are varied and you can always choose according to taste. The staff is polite, attentive and smiling. The room is clean, beautiful and spacious enough. The balcony is just huge. The room has everything you need. 10-15 minutes walk from the beach. For us, this is not a distance and we were happy to walk to the embankment.
We were lucky with the weather 50/50. There were sunny and cloudy days.
We walked all over Sukhum.
We recommend a trip to Mount Athos and the thermal springs.

Meals breakfasts and dinners have a very large selection of dishes. It's mostly local cuisine. But everything is very tasty and at a high level, the homemade wines are amazing.
There is a summer veranda where it is a pleasure to have breakfast or dinner.
The rooms are spacious, clean, and the sound insulation is excellent. There are also pleasant balconies with flowers.
The hotel went perfectly! I will stop here again - of course YES!

Clean and spacious, the bathroom has a shower with a curtain. Cosmetic accessories are replenished but do not put cotton pads and sticks, take them with you* There is a tea station in the room with 4 tea bags and 2! Sugar. Geographically, it is far from the sea, but walking is useful, so I do not consider it a minus, but if someone chooses for a beach holiday, then this hotel is far away. A significant disadvantage is the lack of sound insulation.

The rooms are clean, hygiene supplies were reported every time. There is a bathrobe and slippers, a hairdryer. The bed linen was changed several times in 7 nights. Daily cleaning service. There is a safe in the room. Each room has a balcony. There is a kettle, tea bags, sugar are replenished. Iron and water cooler on each floor. There is a choice for both losing weight and for children. There is a small heated swimming pool - we swam in January, it was comfortable. Stylish design, cleanliness, comfortable mattresses. A sleeping place was arranged for the child without additional payment. There was also a situation - the magnetic key to the room was lost - it was restored without penalty. Excellent ratio of sky-high prices and good service. Good location almost in the city center, 10 minutes walk to the embankment, there is a grocery store nearby. Comfortable rooms, tea, kettle, water are in the room. The breakfasts were generally remembered as much as possible: there is a large selection and the menu changes every day. Cappuccino/Oriental coffee can be ordered for a fee. It's nice that dinners can also be paid for on a day-to-day basis (700).

A wonderful boutique hotel in the heart of Sukhum city. A small hotel, convenient for families with children, there is a clean, heated year-round pool, the pool is not deep, about a meter, which is convenient for independent swimming and children's games (we had 2 children 6 years old), while parents relax here in the lobby.
Children can also leave on their own to change into a room, the rooms are clean, well-groomed, beautifully renovated, cleaning is daily, there are no comments.
The disadvantages of the hotel were not found, despite the fact that they were in different classes of housing.
I really liked the boutique hotel, we definitely recommend it for families with children and for young couples.
I also want to mention the delicious breakfasts and dinners and the pleasant, polite staff.

My daughter got up at 8 a.m. just for breakfast. Khachapur from the hotel is the best in the city. There is a small outdoor heated swimming pool. The breakfasts are amazing, thanks to the restaurant's kitchen team.
The staff is very attentive.
The location is good, a little further from the center, but close to the embankment, 8-10 minutes on foot and to the central market, the same 10 minutes.
And if you need to get somewhere, then a taxi from the reception is called in a couple of minutes and payment is made by the meter.
The pool was working, it was small but cozy)
