The location is not in the very center, but it's even a plus. After a hearty dinner, there is an opportunity to take a walk and settle down)))
The rooms are in good condition.
There is enough food, there is a choice, fresh food is always served.

In August, my friend and I decided to spend a vacation at sea. As soon as they saw the glamping advertisement, they fell in love at first sight. Very comfortable houses, daily cleaning. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Everything is so emotional! Bartenders make evenings by the pool incredibly fun! A bus takes you to the sea 3 times a day, an excellent driver who tells very interesting stories along the way! In general, anyone who decides to spend a vacation in Abkhazia, come here, you will absolutely not regret it! We decided that we would definitely come back!!!

We stayed at the hotel for 6 nights. It is nice that such places appear in Abkhazia - an "oasis in the middle of the desert"!
And now in order:
Staff: from the girls at the reception, to the maids, everyone is very friendly, friendly and helpful.
Upon arrival at the hotel, we were not immediately able to get our bearings with the park - thanks to the administrator Angelica (sorry if I'm wrong), who sent us a hotel employee to help, we solved this problem very quickly.
In general, there are no problems with the parking lot. There are enough parking spaces and they are all under video surveillance.
It is very easy to find a hotel and it is not difficult to use the navigator.
The exterior and interior of the building and premises are beautiful. Everything is clean, tidy, well maintained. There is no dust anywhere. The curtains are clean. There are no dirty spots on upholstered furniture. That's it.
Food: has anyone complained about the range of dishes??? Well, I do not know.... Of course, there is no limit to perfection... but there is no need for more for our family.
For all 6 days, the dishes for dinner were not repeated. If something ran out, the staff immediately brought new ones. I specially took photos of the dishes - look.
In general, the staff here at a height of 5 is well deserved.
You can eat both indoors and on the veranda, and here, I did not have enough comfort, greenery and flowers. Concrete walls and a couple of potted flowers…
Rooms: spacious. The kettle, refrigerator, tea, coffee and sugar are replenished daily. Water can be replenished in a cooler on each floor. An ironing board and an iron are also in the hallway on the floor. The beds are hard, the backrest rests after long walks. The pastel linen is soft, snow-white. Towels for both the bathroom and the pool are in abundance. There are slippers and bathrobes. All soap accessories.
Cleaning is daily, thorough. No deposits of cobwebs and debris have been found anywhere.
There are a couple of comments on the number:
Because we were resting with the child, he slept in the extra place. The extra seat is an armchair with a French cot, the mattress is very thin and 11 years old. the dense boy "fell through" and felt every rail on the cot. And yet, this cot stands flat against the air conditioner, and no matter how the flow direction is adjusted, the air conditioner blows directly onto the child's sleeping place. Therefore, the air conditioner was not turned on. I had to sleep with an open balcony, but it wouldn't be a big deal if it weren't for the dashing Abkhazian youth who drive around the street until 2 a.m. And the windows of almost all rooms overlook the road…
In our room, in the shower, the tile on the floor burst, you can cut your leg.
The building itself is not located directly on the embankment, but this is not tragic, because walking through the streets of Sukhumi, on warm evenings, is a pleasure. Everything is green, blooming, fragrant and singing!

I stayed at this hotel with a group during our trip to Abkhazia. The room has everything you need, a comfortable bed (for me it's important - the back!), a tea corner.
One of the disadvantages is poor noise insulation, you can hear both cars on the street and noises inside the hotel.
The food is delicious, the coffee is only in the bar at Moscow prices. But I'm already finding fault with that :))

We had a rest in Garuda in November. Excellent hotel, excellent breakfasts and dinners. Wonderful staff, solves any issues instantly. The rooms are perfectly clean, towels are always clean and cosmetics are constantly being updated. A small but very warm pool. If you go to Sukhum, then only to Garuda.

A high-level hotel. For Abkhazia, it's just space. The accommodation is comfortable, everything corresponds to the information on the website. It would be good to add children's or neutral dishes for dinner. It is problematic to feed a child on Indian day. The staff is just great, thanks a lot to everyone! The rooms have everything: kettle, refrigerator, TV, hair dryer, safe, towels, bathrobes, beach towels, soap, gels, balsam, toothbrushes, paste, slippers. The usual set for those who are used to vacationing in Turkey. The beach is 10-15 minutes away in a straight line. Now the sidewalks are laid out with paving stones, it will be quite comfortable. Across the street there is a pharmacy, a small shop, a fruit shop. Prices are lower than in Russia.

We stayed at the Hotel in January 2024. We arrived late in the evening. While checking in, they offered a compliment - a glass of homemade red wine. The wine was magnificent, rich, fragrant, and pleasant to the taste. We immediately ordered a khachapuri boat in the room, which turned out to be simply amazing. The room has absolutely everything you need for a comfortable stay, and everything was replenished daily.

We rested in late May and early June 2023. I really liked the hotel- the service is at the highest level- every day a variety of breakfasts, and what delicious dinners are just candy. Food from different countries every day. Polite staff. Cleanliness in the rooms. Each floor is in different designs. The heated pool is good, but it would be nice to clean it every day from fallen petals and change the water more often. There are flowers in the rooms on the balconies - only they would be watered more often, because they dry up. And clean the balconies more often, too.The location is pleasing because it is almost next to the center, there are shops and a bakery nearby.The yard is hidden from prying eyes, only its residents.It's a little far from the sea, but it wasn't a problem for us, we like to walk. The meal was held in an open restaurant, but it is sad that some people do not understand that there are non-smokers sitting there too and the smell is not very pleasant. Overall, the hotel remains pleasant. I recommend.

The first room was next to the stairs and the elevator, we heard who went where or went. They asked to change the number. In the next room above, there was a family with a child, a very active child) So active that the chandelier on the ceiling was shaking) They asked to change the number. In the third room, the door to the balcony did not fully close, but we decided that we could live with it, because it was not cold outside and we were used to sleeping in the cool) Well, we didn't live in the hotel for long, so all the minor flaws didn't make us nervous. But the biggest disadvantage was the declared pool. It was important and it upset me. It is sooo small, located in the corner of the veranda behind the playground. During the entire stay, we never saw anyone swimming in it, well, we did not) We will not go to Garuda this year, the pool is still a priority for us). There is parking, the location of the hotel is normal, the road was really bad, we hope that we have fixed the situation in a year.)Have a good rest in hospitable Abkhazia)

We really liked the Garuda Hotel. Everything is new , not worn out . A chic buffet . We were in room 203, this room is big, with two balconies! We woke up with a view of the mountains and cypresses. The hotel is cool - the service for Abkhazia is just mega cool!!!! The rooms are clean and new, cleaning every day, the staff is polite, they help to solve any questions. I liked the buffet - the assortment is not so huge, but everything is very tasty, you don't need more)))
But I didn't really like the location - it's far from the sea, there is some private sector and devastation around, it takes half an hour to walk to the Makhajirov embankment (if you don't get lost along the way). If by car, then it is normal - the hotel has its own taxi service, they arrive quickly, the prices are adequate.
