The hotel is nice, the staff is polite.
The rooms are outdated, breakfast is extremely basic.
The buffet leaves much to be desired, because the assortment is quite meager.
The room came across a Soviet model, the furniture and all accessories are already aged, but it performs its function.
There is a piano on one floor.

This is the best hotel of all that I have managed to visit in Almaty at the moment. The room is gorgeous, everything is new and works great. Friendly and friendly staff. The most convenient location (right in the heart of the city). The breakfast is simply amazing. This is the first hotel in Kazakhstan where I saw and tasted national Kazakh dishes for breakfast. Also, the variety of other dishes is very impressive. And all these delights for quite adequate money. If possible, if there are places, I will stay at this hotel. Many hotels that are more expensive and higher class are not always as good as this one. Thanks to the staff and management. I advise everyone to stop here at least once.

Convenient location, near the hotel metro and various cafes, Halyk bank and currency exchange. I lived in a single room, the room is already in need of renovation. The breakfasts are mediocre. If you have an early departure, then be prepared for the fact that in the morning, in order for hot water to appear, it needs to be run for about 10-15 minutes.

I got into the offseason, booked a regular room and got twice as expensive. Heating is not provided on time, the room was dog-cold. The bed is uncomfortable. A lumpy mattress, a downy, non-breathable blanket. I gave away a lot of money, no comfort. Warm up with a conditioner, they said at the reception. The place is very convenient. I do not recommend anyone who likes comfort, the price does not match the quality.

Location 5/5 - lots of beautiful places and good restaurants nearby, the area is well lit, nightlife is bustling
Breakfast (buffet) 5/5 - a large selection, much more extensive than in the photo of the plate :)
Wi-fi 4/5 - catches well, the speed is sufficient for work, but with minor interruptions
Room 3/5 is old furniture (it is common), the faucet was wobbling (I asked at the reception - they said they would send a plumber, but no one came), one door did not open at the closet
Cleanliness 5/5 - the beds are clean, good, the mattress/blanket/pillows are good
Additional advantages: it was possible to book a room without attaching a bank card, which is now a plus for Russian citizens
In general, I liked the stay at this hotel and minor flaws did not affect the overall impression in any way

He was on a business trip.A childhood friend came to visit and decided to go up to inspect the room.for a future stop.whom I haven't seen for a long time, they offered to pay 12k at the reception in order to get up.we went to the nearest restaurant and there he told us what conclusions he had drawn at the entrance.
The room itself is cool, the heating does not take out.Everything is running in the shower.after a shower, it's hard to enter the room because everything is wet.
A big plus for Cleaning.Everything is dry in the shower in the morning.the bedding is fresh and new.I stayed for 4 nights

The hotel is well located, the staff is quite responsive and resolves issues quickly. According to the star rating, I would put 3 stars. The rooms are very modest, but on the seventh floor there are new rooms, decent enough with a large bed. At this price, the hotel is acceptable. Breakfast takes place in the restaurant "Zina" and it is not edible at all, but the rest of the time the restaurant is very tasty, so I recommend visiting just not for breakfast from the hotel!!!, but in general the hotel is located next to the street, where there are many cafes

There is no closet with shelves in the room, no shampoo shelf in the shower, it is incredibly cramped in the room, things have to be folded where there is at least some place for this (
The staff is very friendly, but the room itself is not thought out completely: stupid bedside tables, the bathroom door is not fixed in the open, I have already stumbled a hundred times on the powerful wooden legs of the bed.
The location is excellent, there are wonderful cafes nearby.
Upon check-in, the administrator does not know which side of the building faces a quiet street and which one faces a noisy one.

The location is super. The breakfasts are quite decent (just change the sausages to good ones). The room is quite clean, cleaned daily (lived for two weeks). The view from the window is great. The rooms are just too small, the mattress is too soft (my back is just tired of this bed). And there is a massage parlor in the basement, it certainly looks shabby, but the girl did the massage very well, as soon as I come to them next time I will definitely come for a massage again

I have stayed at this hotel twice, I like the convenient location near the metro and in the center of strolling street. The rooms are comfortable with balconies, there is everything you need. The morgue breakfasts would be more varied, but I always find something to eat.

Despite the fact that this guest house is already quite old, it is quite good. I stayed in it several times. The staff is quite friendly, the rooms are always clean and cozy. The only drawback is rather old plumbing and furniture, but this is only in economy class rooms, everything is fine in suites. The rooms have a minibar and air conditioning. I did not use the kitchen in this hotel because the hotel is located on a busy street and there are quite a lot of catering establishments around where you can eat less expensively.
It is best to book a room in advance, in fact, there are rarely available rooms and it is best to take a room with a mountain view and admire the magnificent view from the window in the evenings.
If you have a light sleep and check into a guest house in the summer, then it is better to rent extreme rooms, but not average ones, because in the summer, fountains turn on early in the morning and interfere with sleep.

Of the cons: the rooms are old, but clean, it feels like the renovation was a long time ago. Content in my room, you can rattle the air conditioner unit like a tractor. At 5 a.m., something broke and the elevators did not work, they started by 7. Price tag for the room: adequate. The breakfast is hearty, delicious and varied.

Shower toilet behind glass in the room. While I lived for three days:
1. The elevator shaft was painted and in general it stank of paint everywhere for a day
2. When the hotel was completely full, 1 of the 2 elevators was decommissioned
3. Electricity went out for several hours at night
4. In the morning on the day of departure, only boiling water from all taps. The plumber couldn't fix it!

In general, this is an excellent hotel, as it should be the main hotel of the city. The price tag, as for me, also bites a little, but this is purely mine. The rooms are spacious, clean and everything is as it should be.
but!!! The main thing in this hotel is a VIEW OF the BURROWS!!!!
If you stop, then ask for higher and with a view of the mountains. And then, with this view, your room becomes a "place of power")))
I won't say that I'm a fan of such hotels, BUT this bonus beats all the indicators on this occasion.

The hotel has 2 elevators, small and slow, those who are impatient should not take the upper floors. The hotel has cool restaurants with verandas. Breakfast is normal, according to the level of the hotel, but you can always eat in nearby establishments. Friendly staff. I will definitely stop next time.

The bathroom had bathrobes, slippers, and shower accessories. Convenient location of the hotel, near the metro station, bus stops. Many attractions could be reached on foot. There are many different cafes nearby. The breakfasts were great, the choice of dishes was decent for every taste. Overall, we were very satisfied.

There are many bonuses in the rooms - disposable toothbrushes, looms, shoe spoons, slippers, bathrobe, etc. Price - quality. The breakfasts are very varied. You can eat on the veranda outside)) Very customer-oriented reception - there was no tenge at check-in, they allowed us to pay as soon as we change it. Another of the disadvantages was that the air conditioner did not cool, apparently the freon ran out, a repairman was called, he came only two days later. But the location of the hotel outweighs all the disadvantages!
