It's a wonderful museum that everyone should visit, especially the young ones. The grandiose exposition. Tanks, planes, weapons. Very interesting installations. It is clear how to move through the exhibition, all the halls are numbered. Thank you for having such a place. I will definitely try to get there again.

The museum is very modern, well equipped technically, the narrative is well read, full immersion in all the hardships of wartime. I highly recommend combined excursions, I was lucky to get on such a tour guide Victoria, knows the material perfectly, the story comes to life in her words. In an hour and a half, I felt the huge emotional effect of the museum objects combined with the tour - it seemed to me that every listener could barely hold back tears, especially in the halls about the occupation regime. On the downside, I didn't really understand why there are no discounts for visiting graduate students. But in general, of course, a regular ticket is not expensive at all. I definitely recommend you to visit.

An amazing museum! Everyone who visits Minsk should visit this place. The museum is deeply impressive both for its grandiose architectural embodiment and for its exposition. An important recommendation is to visit the museum with a tour group (there is a schedule). The guide's story will leave deep impressions. A full-scale picture of what the Belarusian and Russian people had to go through during the war will open up before you. Everyone should definitely know this. The territory of the museum passes Victory Park, a good place for a walk. There are memorial fountains in the park, and an excursion boat runs along the river.

It's a very cool museum, there are a lot of expansions, the installations are beyond praise - you can immediately see that the masters were in love with their work! It's definitely worth taking a guided tour, 2 hours fly by unnoticed! A must-visit!

The museum is a must-visit for everyone who comes to Minsk. The exposition is very interesting, there is a lot of informative, especially the horrors of fascism are well shown. This is not forgotten even after centuries! And to all those who are trying to forget or somehow justify what they have done, come to the museum, look at photos and documents about those events!

The best museum in my life! And if you manage to walk through it with a guide, it's just indescribably emotional: young girls and boys heartily talk about the difficult years of the Great Patriotic War - my wife even burst into tears a couple of times, the guys and girls put their soul into every tour and it's like every time I live those terrible moments that befell our country. In general, the most powerful place to go!

I can't help but leave a review! We went on a recommendation and took a guided tour. It was very interesting and informative, sometimes there were goosebumps and tears, a lot of original exhibits, impressive paintings by the artist, a former concentration camp prisoner, were on display. I recommend it to everyone. It is a must-visit in Minsk. By the way, the tour covers not only the Second World War, but also the beginning and background of the Second World War. Very informative.

A landmark museum for residents of Belarus and guests of the capital. It impresses with its scale and expositions. I was impressed by the Victory Hall. I also enjoyed the tour. The only thing that can be added is that additional women's restrooms are needed, as there is a very large flow of people in the museum.

Pride in our country❤️Very impressive and large-scale. A worthy memory of the feat of the Soviet people, the Soviet soldier and the heroes of the Great Patriotic War. Every hall, every installation evokes the most tremulous emotions. Everything has been thought out to the smallest detail. A storm of emotions is caused by a hall dedicated to the horrific inhumanity, the victims of concentration camps. And as the brightest chord of Victory in the Great Patriotic War, this is the Victory Hall! How finely and precisely the information and design are chosen. The incredible Light and cleanliness, the transparent dome with the waving flag of the Soviet Union of Socialist Republics, the Victory flag touches to the very heart and fills

In the year of the 80th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War, the memory of the war veterans was honored by visiting the Belarusian State Museum of the History of the Great Patriotic War. All of us, including the granddaughters, were impressed by this museum, its exhibits, exclusive historical documents, photographs of those years, and military equipment from the Second World War. Thanks to everyone who participated in the creation of this museum, who now brings to people the true story of those years. It is impossible to watch and listen to all this without tears...

A very large exposition (many floors, themed halls), a lot of exhibits - if you don't take a quick look, you can spend the whole day. The museum also hosts interactive activities for schoolchildren. You can book a guided tour - it lasts 1.5 hours, on the ground floor there is a cloakroom, a souvenir shop, a cafe, toilets.

They were treated without an excursion. The tickets are very pleasantly priced, while the exposition is large and diverse. All the halls connect into a very convenient series of passageways, stairs, bridges and ramps, leading forward. In the halls themselves, there are not just exhibits, but whole dioramas with a piece of the events of those times. It's a very interesting museum.

One of the most amazing museums dedicated to the Great Patriotic War, which I have visited. Everyone is required to visit - both citizens and tourists from faraway lands. This is our history - the history of the common Fatherland. The feat of a Soviet soldier should never be forgotten. Thank you to everyone who built this museum, collected material. A huge amount of large-scale equipment, including captured ones. Book a few hours to explore the museum and be sure to take a tour!

I really liked the museum. Very beautiful locations. It is better to take a guided tour, the guide tells you a lot of interesting things. The museum grounds are very beautiful. The only thing is that they didn't turn on the fountain yet, it would have been more spectacular.

The scale of the exposition is striking from the very first steps. There are a huge number of exhibits inside the museum: weapons, equipment, personal belongings of soldiers and officers, photographs, documents, letters from the front. I would especially like to note the professionalism of the museum staff. Very friendly, polite people. The building has a cloakroom, a small cafe and a gift shop. The impressions after the visit are positive.

I read in one of the comments that you can bring the children and take a tour for them.… Oh, it's not a childish place at all. The tour starts easily, there are planes, there are weapons, you can take a picture here at the sign ... And then the horrors of war, it's very gloomy, hard, and how else when so many people died, but here everything is so openly shown. And now it's getting darker, harder, and then you go to the top level, it's bright, joyful for the victory, and there are terrible death figures all around.… It seems that we are already happy that we won, and bitter about the number of dead and their fate. Still, I wouldn't take small children there, all in good time. And I even recommend going to adults, you definitely won't regret it. The guide, however, was too pretentious for me, she always spoke in an arrogant tone despite the fact that I am 20 years older than her and sometimes even know some points better than her. Probably unlucky, but the museum is still good and worth a visit.

The museum is one of my favorites. Large, spacious, good expositions. The child always enjoys visiting and always finds something new. Special thanks to the staff, competent and sincere people. I would like to make a small request, highlight information on photo and video shooting at the entrance and at the checkout in order to avoid misunderstandings. Otherwise, everything is fine.

I come to this museum every time I come to Minsk. I've always dreamed of bringing my children to this museum, showing them photos, telling them a lot about it. We came to Minsk with the children for the competition, with difficulty, but we found time to visit the museum. Unfortunately, we didn't know the exact schedule in advance, so we couldn't book the tour in advance. A group of 13 children (9-12 years old) and 10 adults came to the museum. There was no guide for our group (we were on a weekday at about 14:00, there were not many visitors to the museum), the administrator was surprised by the words that the children would not be interested in the tour anyway. The audio guide was also not recommended, as it is also not interesting for children!? There was a group of adult men in the museum, for whom several museum staff conducted a quest. By the way, we did not meet any other organized groups at the museum. They just wouldn't let us into the first two halls, because the same quest was taking place there. When the children sat down to watch a film about the parade on November 7, 1941, an employee of the museum approached us and asked us to take the children away, since the participants of the quest needed to watch the film here and they could not wait ... the children were not allowed to watch the film. After viewing the main exhibition of the museum, we came to the children's museum. An employee of this part of the museum rudely rebuked the children, who, by the way, behaved perfectly, no interactive activities were offered and nothing was said about the exhibits at all to the children. In total, the children have a question: why did we come to this museum? Adults have a question why SUCH an exhibition is positioned as not interesting for children and why such an attitude towards children in general? The most annoying thing is that my children love and often visit museums. The topic of history is also interesting to them. The children went to this museum with very high expectations and in the end they were only disappointed. The museum itself can be rated 5, and the staff does not deserve 2. You can't treat your job that way!

It is a must-visit for guests of the city, as nowhere else than in Belarus, the most affected republic during the Great Patriotic War, do they keep the memory of those events! The museum is located in a modern and unusual building located right on the edge of Victory Park. There are several information rooms about the stages of the war, which feature samples of weapons, authentic objects of that time, and reconstructions of some events! The names of the heroes are immortalized! No one is forgotten! Nothing is forgotten!

This museum complex impressed with its scale and atmosphere. It is clear that its creators have put their soul and great effort into every detail in order to preserve and present the history of their region. The museum itself is simply wonderful, the expositions and halls are informative, interesting and impressive. but! There was a feeling that we were not welcome…We came with my husband and child at about 15:30-16, bought tickets and clarified whether it was possible to take an individual tour, we were sent to the administrator, they clarified it again and she said with a grin, "Yeah, you're generally late, you need to come to the museums earlier, the time is already at 4..." would you agree that this statement is superfluous? Well, the guides left for the routes and left, it's okay, we'll look for ourselves, additional comments to our address are unnecessary. Then two hours later we enter the last halls 10 and 11, which are located on the 1st floor, there are a lot of interactive expositions: screens with photos, sound devices, just sound near objects, lights, etc. I'm standing and looking at the photos on the screen, flipping through them, tears come, I'm just very immersed in it and then I see that the lights are starting to turn off at the other end of the hall, and my husband and son were there, I step away from the screen to see what happened, why there is no light, a woman comes, turns off the screen mine turns off all sounds, turns off the lights in other parts of the hall, I leave it to see where my husband and son are, the time for a minute was 17:50... I just leave, they immediately lock the door. It turns out that they are starting to prepare for closure, although the museum itself is open until 19 ... why they began to do this so early is not clear, and even if these halls close earlier (my guess is, otherwise it is not clear why they close the halls before closing), then the same administrator instead of poking us with the fact that we supposedly they came late, she could have suggested that there are halls in museums that close earlier, because she sits there to help people, prompt and answer questions… But I recommend visiting everything exactly to everyone, this is our history, the terrible history of the entire USSR and many other countries, unfortunately there are very, very few such museum expositions…

The museum is very beautiful and monumental. 4 floors, expositions go from the beginning of the war to victory. Each zone is thought out and worked out very carefully, there are many trophies and things of people who saw the horror of the war with their own eyes. In general, every resident of our Belarus needs to visit this place to remember!!!

The museum is wonderful! Impressive in its scale. All the expositions have been created in a very interesting way. Recreated scenes from the military past. The architecture of the museum itself is impressive, the lines between the floors are erased, the expositions smoothly replace each other. The "Hall of Fame" is generally grandiose. We were there in sunny weather. The sun's rays greatly emphasized the grandeur of the place. Definitely worth a visit there! I was on an excursion with the children, I couldn't see much in detail myself, but it's a pity...
