We were very impressed with the museum, especially considering that we visited it on the eve of the 80th anniversary of Victory Day. I must say right away that it is necessary to stock up on time, and for them it is about 3 hours. We can take a guided tour, but we went on our own, slowly, delving into and reading the documents. The museum is modern, located in the city center next to Victory Park. Young children will not let you completely get into the history of the war.

A must-visit. Take a guided tour, it's interesting and at a good pace. The tour ends in the bright, majestic Victory Hall. After that, you can still walk on your own.

I went to Belarus to visit my grandfather's grave - search engines found it in the Vitebsk region, then I was impressed and went to Minsk and visited this museum. We got there on Khatyn Memorial Day, and we got a very good guide. Impressions... words cannot convey it. somewhere his fists were clenched, somewhere he was holding back tears... You need to know, you need to remember, you must visit!

A museum on the level of Moscow and Volgograd. But...with a more tragic story. Belarus was "carved out" by the Germans during the Second World War at the level of 2/3 of the population. All the tragedy of this is fully and very realistically reflected in the expositions of this museum.

An amazing museum! Everyone is interested! Both adults and children! Interactive expositions, archival materials, life-size equipment, and the majestic Victory Hall! We have been to the museum twice and every time we go up to the Victory Hall, goosebumps run down my skin!…

A huge museum with 4 floors. The exposition is very interesting, informative and well designed. In some halls there are tears in the eyes. I advise you to visit with children to feel the spirit of the museum, look at the equipment provided, look at the horrors of war.

I visited the museum last month with friends and was very pleased. The museum is very large and interesting, there are many different exhibits, from documents and photographs to weapons and equipment. I especially liked the hall dedicated to the defensive battles in Belarus in the summer of 1941, where you can see maps, posters, personal belongings of soldiers and partisans. The museum is very well decorated, there are many interactive elements, video and audio. The museum staff was friendly and polite, answered all our questions. The museum is located in a convenient location, we reached it by bus without any problems. I recommend everyone to visit this museum to learn more about the Great Patriotic War and to honor the memory of the heroes. I give the museum five stars.

On the downside, it was cold, windy, and snowing. The museum has a great atmosphere, you can combine an excursion, rest, and delicious coffee at the buffet. To reflect on life , to touch the past .

I really liked it, the city administration tried very hard to create the museum, by the way, great respect to the girl, the administrator is very pleasant, explained everything clearly and contributed to the visit, in a word, well done. I liked the museum more than in Moscow, although it is not large compared to Moscow, the ticket price includes a visit to all the exhibitions, not like in Moscow, you have to pay separately for some ... Good luck to everyone...

It is highly advisable for those born after the collapse of the Soviet Union to go here. Be sure to take a guided tour! It won't be the same without a guide. It's a pity that the tour covers only about half of the exhibits, but you can then go through and read the rest yourself. The memory of the Great Patriotic War is preserved and honored here.

A wonderful museum, a very interesting exposition, an electronic guide tells in detail about the pain and suffering of the Belarusian people during the brutal war and occupation. The partisan movement is shown. I have a very heavy impression of the facts about the genocide of the Belarusian people. A decent museum, interesting and terrible at the same time. I would like to advise everyone to visit it.

The amazing WWII Museum. It's worth a visit. One of the surprising things for me personally: paintings and a large exposition of things from the Third Reich, it seems to me that there are fewer expositions in the Russian Federation.

A wonderful museum. There are many interesting exhibits. A beautiful and solemn Victory Hall. The hall with the exposition about the partisans is impressive. The child is delighted with the forest school and the German forest machine. The guide Anatoly was fascinated by history, he wanted to learn even more about the liberation of Belarus and much more.

She visited the museum in March 2024. The exposition is arranged in chronological order and is well structured.Original documents, belongings, awards, weapons. The exhibition of equipment is impressive. A separate segment is the exhibition of the artist Savitsky, with paintings dedicated to the war.The museum is located on several levels and ends at the top with the Hall of Fame, where the names of the war heroes are listed. It is clear that a lot of work has been done. You can take thematic excursions in the museum, you can go on your own. I plan to visit this museum with my children. I recommend.

A museum that every person who respects their ancestors who accomplished such a feat should visit. Those who defeated fascism and survived the horror of the war. Amazing expositions. Guides who know the history perfectly well. The story needs to be shown and told, especially to young people. And then much of what is happening today will be clearer and clearer.

A wonderful museum of the Second World War, with a very large exposition. The first time we arrived early and took audio guides: these are portable players where guides tell you about the exhibits of each hall, with details and details. It took us 4 hours to walk through the entire museum from beginning to end with an audio guide and stops at video projections. It was very informative, although physically difficult. However, at least once, it is necessary to take such an excursion. You will learn a lot of things that you were not told at school and you will have a more complete picture of the events of the war.

The best museum of the Second World War, very impressive ! A huge number of documents and exhibits have been collected! We took an audio guide , which is always very convenient . We are deeply impressed by the exploits of the Soviet people and their heroism ! And looking at the photos and documents of what the fascists did, you understand: you can never forget this! … I bow low to all the people who created this grandiose museum, did a herculean job of collecting all the submitted documents, your work is invaluable, thank you!

Excellent exposure. A lot of equipment, layouts, documents. It will be interesting for both children and adults. Everyone will find something of their own. The staff in the halls of the museum are friendly and try to answer all questions in detail. The cost of admission is insignificant, compared to the museum itself. It is strongly recommended to make a mandatory visit to Minsk.

The museum is very beautiful, it can be seen from afar. We took a guided tour, they told us so interesting that tears appeared in our eyes. Impressive dioramas with scenes of heavy fighting, equipment (airplanes, Katyusha)- all this is presented in the museum. I recommend visiting it in front of the Brest fortress and Khatyn.

The museum is imbued with the spirit of patriotism, memory of the terrible events of the Second World War, heroism and exploits of ordinary people who stood up for the defense of the country. The exhibits are impressive, most of them are authentic. The museum is large and spacious. Thanks to well-placed expositions and transitions between halls and floors, you can move unnoticed through the history of the war. I recommend a group tour, you will go around the entire museum in an hour and hear important and interesting points about the exhibits, and if you wish, you can return and examine them in detail again.

An incredibly cool museum, large, spacious, a lot of exhibits, there are organized excursions. In Belarus, in general, everyone is doing well - the theme of war is everywhere, it feels like people honor and remember every moment and this is the biggest tragedy for the people and it's incredible..... I definitely recommend visiting the museum.
