An excellent museum, I recommend visiting with children. The future generation should know the history and keep the memory of the feat of their ancestors. There are storage rooms for things, a wardrobe, a toilet. There is a lot of interactive content, a large number of authentic exhibits. A decent museum. What can I say?.. It is simply unbearable to be in some halls: my chest aches, tears come to my eyes, and my mind refuses to somehow realize and accept all the horrors that the Soviet people went through during the Great Patriotic War. I couldn't look at the paintings of the artist M. Savitsky, the hero of Belarus, who was imprisoned in a concentration camp during the war. His paintings poignantly convey the artist's memories of that terrible time. The museum itself contains a huge number of exhibits, interesting expositions. It is necessary to visit it, take children and teenagers, tell and visually show what war is.
We accidentally got on a sightseeing tour, as they explained to us, they sign up for such an excursion two months in advance. The tour itself lasts 1.5 hours. It is, of course, compressed, but, in my opinion, necessary, after it you can wander around the museum
on your own. P.S. I attached photos of German commanders from the museum specifically to my review. Look at how brazenly and confidently they feel on our territory. This shouldn't happen. Therefore, they were destroyed at any cost.

Oh, it's just a heartbreaking place!!!! 4 floors of incredible expositions, installations, as well as authentic exhibits! I did not remember the name of the guide (a young girl with blond wavy hair) led the tour with such anguish that tears flowed and there was a lump in her throat! I recommend that all guests of Minsk visit this museum first of all!

It is difficult to talk about such places, especially when they tell how the people were exterminated en masse, especially on Belarusian soil. The ticket office offered a guided tour, the guide spoke clearly and answered questions. The exposition is gorgeous, people work who love their job. You will be greeted by the Kholm gate of the Best fortress, the inscriptions of soldiers on the wall and Mark Naumovich with "Cranes". I liked everything very much, I disagree with previous reviews about the excursions, we came up at 15 minutes to 16 hours, got there without any problems. It is not very convenient that you cannot return to the halls you have passed in the reverse order, just start from the beginning. Interesting expositions made with love for their history, their people and their country.
