An excellent, modern museum. A large multi-storey exhibition. There are equipment, documents, and a chronicle. It will appeal to those who just like to watch and those who like to study everything carefully. We stayed there for a couple of hours - we weren't even tired.

Such places cannot be bad, they are always needed and important. But this museum, among other things, is very well made. The exhibits are colorful and visual. Despite the fact that the expositions are designed to remind of terrible events, it's still a beautiful place. I recommend everyone to visit and never forget the great feat of our ancestors!

It is a very atmospheric and informative place. The expositions are close to real battles. Khatyn and the gallery of paintings of prisoners, a place of mourning. I recommend you to visit, this is still the best WWII museum that I have visited.

An interesting and incredibly huge amount of work has been done in the creation of this museum. It is clear that those people who were engaged in recreating the moments of battles and historical events were completely absorbed in this matter. They gave themselves completely so that their descendants would remember those terrible and tragic events! Take the tour right away, you definitely won't regret it!

We decided to start exploring Minsk with this museum, because there is no more important page in our history.
The exposition is very diverse, the exhibits clearly show how much our people paid for the Victory in the Great Patriotic War.
The majestic building, located in a picturesque place of the city, attracts a lot of attention. I will definitely come back again.

I really liked it, the city administration tried very hard to create the museum, by the way, great respect to the girl, the administrator is very pleasant, explained everything clearly and contributed to the visit, in a word, well done.
I liked the museum more than in Moscow, although it is not large compared to Moscow, the ticket price includes a visit to all the exhibitions, not like in Moscow, you have to pay separately for some ...
Good luck to everyone...

In general, the museum is good, there are many different installations. But in sunny weather, being on the top floor just hurts the eyes. Everything gold and glass glares reflects the sun's rays, very brightly and the eyes open with difficulty to read the inscriptions.

A gorgeous museum. I've been there a couple of times. Each time the tour was conducted in different ways. Different accents were made. There was a group from Russia nearby, they were presented with facts in a different way. But it's still interesting. At the entrance to the upper floor there was an interesting interactive curtain, now for some reason it does not work. And so it was a cool feature. I advise everyone to visit.

Magnificent! There are just not enough words to convey all the feelings that we experienced when visiting this museum. Thank God that there is a place where history is kept unchanged. Many visitors, like us, sniffed, well, it's just impossible to walk past individual expositions without tears...Special thanks to the caretaker of one of the halls Kolikova Alla Ivanovna, with her fascinating story she was able to interest our 5-year-old daughter. Be sure to visit if possible!

I, I emphasize, personally. This is my opinion. We were a family (4 people) in Minsk. My wife's uncle died near Mogilev. We took an excursion. It's all good. The girl spoke loudly and clearly about the stages of the Great Patriotic War. I just didn't feel that it was one country that withstood the pressure of "dedicated Europe" and was able to turn it around. I do not diminish the role of the Belarusian partisan and underground movement, but I did not feel unity. Maybe I took it that way, I don't know... As in a fairy tale, twigs are easy to break, a broom is difficult....

The exposition is arranged in chronological order and is well structured.Original documents, belongings, awards, weapons. The exhibition of equipment is impressive.
A separate segment is the exhibition of the artist Savitsky, with paintings dedicated to the war.The museum is located on several levels and ends at the top with the Hall of Fame, where the names of the war heroes are listed.
It is clear that a lot of work has been done.
You can take thematic excursions in the museum, you can go on your own.

I've been wanting to visit the renovated museum for a long time, but I still can't. And now it finally happened. A big plus is that there is a parking lot. I liked the museum itself. Different compositions divided by type. There are sounds and even a peculiar smell. For example, where the tanks smell of oil or fuel oil, in the house there is the smell of a stove. Different impressions, realistic mannequins. Recommend.

A wonderful museum of the Second World War, with a very large exposition. The first time we arrived early and took audio guides: these are portable players where guides tell you about the exhibits of each hall, with details and details. It took us 4 hours to walk through the entire museum from beginning to end with an audio guide and stops at video projections. It was very informative, although physically difficult.
However, at least once, it is necessary to take such an excursion. You will learn a lot of things that you were not told at school and you will have a more complete picture of the events of the war.

The museum is imbued with the spirit of patriotism, memory of the terrible events of the Second World War, heroism and exploits of ordinary people who stood up for the defense of the country.
The exhibits are impressive, most of them are authentic. The museum is large and spacious. Thanks to well-placed expositions and transitions between halls and floors, you can move unnoticed through the history of the war.
I recommend a group tour, you will go around the entire museum in an hour and hear important and interesting points about the exhibits, and if you wish, you can return and examine them in detail again.

The museum was very impressive. The pain and courage of the residents and defenders of Belarus are felt in it. An excellent idea and architectural realization of the museum: the whole path goes spiraling upwards, from the first days of the war to Victory. I would like to see more interactivity so that documents and comments on them can be viewed on screens. In any case, the museum is definitely worth a visit. To remember.

I visited the museum last month with friends and was very pleased. The museum is very large and interesting, there are many different exhibits, from documents and photographs to weapons and equipment. I especially liked the hall dedicated to the defensive battles in Belarus in the summer of 1941, where you can see maps, posters, personal belongings of soldiers and partisans. The museum is very well decorated, there are many interactive elements, video and audio. The museum staff was friendly and polite, answered all our questions. The museum is located in a convenient location, we reached it by bus without any problems. I would put a thousand stars on the museum itself, but it's a pity for the organization and the administration staff to put even one…
I'll tell you a story about how we tried to get on a museum tour for two days in a row.
We arrived on August 10 at five in the evening (two hours before closing)
At our request to buy tickets with an excursion, the cashier snorted with displeasure that, in fact, they have all excursions until 16:00 at most (apparently, the guides rest 3 hours before closing)
An important point! We asked about booking an excursion for tomorrow, to which the answer was given that they do not book excursions
We decided to take an audio guide, to which the answer was received that they were all already on charge
They asked how many times we should come tomorrow, so that we could not just read the description of the exhibits, but listen to a professional guide
We received an answer: "come tomorrow at 15:00, we are in the midst of excursions at this time,"
Said and done. Already at 14:30 we were at the museum at the ticket office. And lo and behold! The same cashier.
We say: "please, we need two tickets with an excursion"
The answer, apparently recorded on the subcortex, did not take long to wait: "all the excursions have already ended, the audio guides are on recharge"
We just bought entrance tickets and decided to contact the reception desk
At this counter, a nice young girl told us that the last tour took place at 14:00 (sorry, but for 5!!!! hours before closing)
Of course, the audio guides are already on charge. After all, 1,500 people have already passed before us, as we were told.
Apparently, the 1501 and 1502 employees have already exhausted their strength.....
The woman checking the tickets barked at us that we ourselves can actually walk around the museum and read normally.
Let's go-the fairy tale museum! Very beautiful exhibitions and exhibits.
But we managed to read a little… As well as to learn something about the museum. There are hundreds of portraits behind the windows. Only the full name and title are signed under them. What this man did, guess for yourself.
Combat vehicles have only those. specifications. Where this car fought, whether it fought at all-also find out, apparently, on the Internet.
After going through the entire museum, we decided to leave a review, asking for a special book provided in all museums. Surprisingly, she wasn't there when I decided to mention that I wanted to leave a review specifically about the employees and their work so that the higher-level administration could pay attention to it. I asked where I could leave a review then. The receptionist girl said that on Yandex maps. But what about the official website of the museum, where the staff should definitely read reviews? The girl told me about him only after my mention.
Of course, I decided to ask how we could still get on the tour, because there are a lot of questions left.... You won't believe it! It turns out that there is a record that the cashier staff for some reason do not know about!
I decided to clarify when it is possible to get at least to the audio guides.
The answer made us smile nervously: "they work with us from morning to four in the evening" (apparently people who want to come to the museum after 4, for a minute, three hours before closing, do not have the right to listen to at least an audio guide, I am already silent about the guide ...)
Why did I smile nervously? Yes, because the audio guides, which, according to them, work until 4, were already on charge at 2..
Then the girl, apparently, got very nervous from the fact that I was at her, at the administrator, decided to clarify some questions (to be honest, I thought it was her responsibility) and decided to tell me all her dissatisfaction
, "Actually, I already gave out 20 today!!!! audio guides" (heroine)
How strange it was to hear this after we were informed that 1,500 people had already passed today.
I was surprised and decided to ask again if they really have only 20 audio guides for such a number of visitors???
The girl, not understanding why we were so surprised, replied: "Well, yes"
And the administrator decided to finish us off at the end, saying: "Actually, we had Italians, French, and Portuguese here before you, we want to give them audio guides to listen to"
We just fell out. That is, the Portuguese should listen, but we, the Russians, the fraternal people, do not....?
Is this Russianism in the museum of the Great Patriotic War? It's even scary…
I ask you to draw the attention of the museum administration to the work of your staff and give an answer that you have read this comment. Otherwise, I will send this comment to higher authorities.
The museum is wonderful, but we came out of it from head to toe…
Imagine with what an unpleasant aftertaste we had to walk around the museum
