The place is mandatory to visit
Firstly, it is an architectural masterpiece, both the building itself and the park area nearby
Secondly, there are a lot of sculptures nearby and you can't get up to the most
Thirdly, there are always amazing exhibitions and an excellent interior inside
It's like HPP 2 but 10 years older
It is maintained and operated with great care
Alas, not all the exhibitions inside are amazing, but in general the quality of the exposition is very high.
It's a great place and it has great content
Alas, the cafe inside is a stupid sadness

Not so long ago, I visited the Heydar Aliyev Cultural Center and was impressed by its architecture.
The building impresses with its design both outside and inside, creating a unique atmosphere.
The exhibitions at the center are diverse, but I especially remember the exhibition of dolls, which stood out for its approach and skill.
Unfortunately, the meeting with the staff left much to be desired: the girl at the checkout and the service in the coffee shop inside could have been more welcoming.
Nevertheless, in general, the visit left a pleasant impression.
I especially recommend visiting the center at sunset, when the building is illuminated by the evening sun and looks even more impressive.

It is a beautiful, aesthetic and harmonious modern complex. The building itself as a work of art is an interesting design. The complex houses several exhibitions: cars, carpets, dolls, models of Baku buildings, the story of Aliyev's life, an art gallery, etc. There is a cafe with drinks and desserts. The place is definitely top 3 in Baku, a must-visit!

The real highlight of Azerbaijan can be considered the Heydar Aliyev Center. Unusual architecture, space-shaped buildings created by architect Zaha Hadid. It's just beautiful, both inside and out!!! There are many exhibitions in the cultural center - the right wing highlights the life of Heydar Aliyev himself; the left wing is an exhibition of retro cars, an insert of dolls, an exhibition of musical instruments, etc. A great recreation area . I definitely recommend you to visit 👍👍

I had an aesthetic orgasm at the Heydar Aliyev Center. This is an authentic masterpiece from the legendary architect Zaha Hadid (the first woman to be awarded the Pritzker Prize)👏
The building bends bizarrely and changes its appearance depending on the angle. In 2014, it was awarded the Design of the Year award.
The interior is even more striking. The building seems to hover above you. Stairs are especially impressive. When you look at the central staircase from above, the light steals the steps (I don't even know how to describe it reliably). Just blow your head off🔥
There are several expositions inside. The part is naturally about the path of Heydar Aliyev himself, in particular his cars.
A little bit of modern art (for some reason). I liked the exhibition of dolls and the hall with the national instruments of Azerbaijan.
Among other things, an exposition of classic cars is located in the Heydar Aliyev Center on the minus third floor of the parking lot (you need to take a ticket separately).
Alas, this is not the best exhibition hall — it's stuffy and dark (as you know, they don't make windows in the parking lot), but I had to put up with it. Now let's move on to the pros. Each car stands separately in its place, and you can get very close to it from any side, there are no fences. Good lighting of the exhibits. There is a sign with information in Azerbaijani and English next to it, and there is a QR code in the corner, clicking on which you can see Russian.
Wonderful photographs were used to decorate the exhibition, among which there are famous works, but photos from Baku's past turned out to be especially interesting.
In the exhibition hall you can see dozens of magnificent cars in excellent condition. Here are masterpieces from the Porsche family and Harley Earl.
Among the exhibits you can find various models of Rolls-Royces, Jaguars, Mercedes and BMW. The legendary "Mustang", "Charger" and "Corvette" are also presented here.
Soviet cars are not forgotten either: "Volga", "Moskvichi", "Pobedy", "Chaika", "Zhiguli" and "Emki".
There is a Bugatti Veyron for delivery - the fastest production car of the early noughties.
In my opinion, the most interesting exhibit is the Mercedes 300 SL Flügelturen, known as the "Seagull Wing". He's just beautiful!

An amazing and impressive building by the brilliant architect Zaha Hadid. It is located on a hill, the area around is landscaped, and offers a beautiful view of the city. The interior architecture is no less impressive than the exterior. There are a lot of different expositions in the center, both permanent and replaceable. The expositions of traditional musical instruments and carpets, as well as an exhibition of dolls, were very interesting. There is a cafe and a lobby on the ground floor.

The Heydar Aliyev Center in Baku. By far the most beautiful and interesting building both externally and in terms of content. Lay down at least 3 hours to carefully examine everything and go everywhere. Don't spare the money. An exhibition of retro cars is taking place in the basement. Be sure to look here. The ticket here is separate. There are about 60 cars on display. Very cool, be sure to come here. As for the permanent exhibition at the Heydar Aliyev Center, it is also worthy of your attention. Many halls are dedicated to the history of Azerbaijan. Of course, we were impressed by the halls with musical instruments and dolls. There is also a hall with carpets. There were temporary exhibitions of Uzbek culture. And a lot more. Just come and see everything with your own eyes. Of course, there is a hall dedicated to Heydar Aliyev and his life path. The center will not leave you indifferent.

It is necessary to visit... but not because it is an interesting museum. A beautiful futuristic building with visual effects outside and inside. There is practically no content. The part dedicated to G.Aliyev is a demonstration of modern museum technologies. And that's all... it doesn't arouse much interest, like any ideological enterprise. The part dedicated to Azerbaijan is meaningless pieces of history, culture, and art. The car exhibition is probably of interest to car lovers... no more. The rest of the exhibition space is a demonstration of what you can thoughtlessly spend "oil" money on. And yet - a traveler should see this place

The futuristic architecture of the building is fascinating. But the content inside is weak - there are only two non-interesting expositions, while the prices of visits for non-residents are high. But most importantly, it is sooo difficult to find a toilet for an ordinary tourist, there are no signs. Somewhere in the inner parking area, we managed to use it. At the same time, you need to take the elevator, which quickly closes the doors, hitting the visitors very painfully. Not everyone was able to connect WiFi.

A huge museum, a very unusual building both outside and inside! I've never seen anything like it before. The museum has several locations with different exhibitions: dolls of different masters, musical instruments of some countries and national ones, costumes from different regions of Azerbaijan, an exhibition of paintings and sculptures of modern art. We were very pleased with the interactive zones of musical instruments, as well as the collection of dolls and, of course, Azerbaijani carpets are a separate kind of art. It is a pity that there is no description in Russian, which makes it difficult to visit independently (without a guide). On the ground floor there are models of some buildings in Azerbaijan, in this area there is a description in Russian on monitors near each layout - thanks a lot for this) Must-visit 100%!
Admission is 15 manats per person, there is no division into adults and children (only up to 6 years old seems to be free).

Interesting shapes and contents, everyone will find something to their taste, the doll museum is a must!
The toilets are located amusingly male and female on different floors, but in sufficient numbers.
The cafe was sparse, they could only make drinks and give desserts to them. We were on Saturday afternoon, why didn't we understand such restrictions. The prices in the cafe are above average.

A great place: outside and inside. If you do not take into account the background (in honor of whom it was built), then the design is my respect. Zaha Hadid's hand is felt everywhere. Beautiful, exquisite and delicious. It is worth seeing this museum just for the sake of architecture. The content - there are questions here. The entrance, turnstiles and the first thing you meet in the museum itself is the back of the angel sculpture. I'm sorry, who is so smart to put sculptures like that? :)) Inside, everything is arranged by floors. Each floor has its own cultural feature: music, carpets, architecture, etc. Considering that the museum is also bioplastic inside, not all passages will lead you to new halls, sometimes it is a dead end passage or not decorated rooms. Finding toilets is a whole quest. If you find it difficult to find a male one, congratulations, now look for a female one. As for the expositions themselves, everything is very good, interesting and informative. A squeeze of all the museums of Baku in one place. There is not enough interactivity, everything is very showy, but it is done with polish. The children liked the museum - it was doubly pleased, usually going to the museum is a torment))) The very design of the halls inside encourages the game, very beautiful photos are obtained. So, I strongly recommend you to visit. / and then ask the locals how they feel about the museum/

The power of the fuse went into the swing. And the avant-garde design of the building is very modestly used in relation to the squares of the center. Undoubtedly, the significant figure of G.Aliyev in the history of the USSR is worthily represented in the center of his name. In this regard, a logical question arises:why is the information about him in the interactive zone (and not only) presented only in Turkish and English? Does not the life of G. Aliyev deserve to be presented in Russian, which he spoke perfectly and was connected with.
The center is great. Comrade's gifts are very revealing. To Aliyev from the statesmen of the world. Presents were presented by the presidents of the Russian Federation, heads of regions of the Russian Federation, Foreign ministers... I'm proud.

The doll exhibition is amazing (I've never seen anything like it anywhere). The miniatures of the city's buildings are magnificent (thanks for the description in Russian). The atmosphere is comfortable, modern, tolerant. I'll be back again. Now let me note what surprised me: there are few people from the Russian Federation among the visitors.
