A great place to visit if you are a tourist in Baku. A lot of fancy exhibitions like national costumes and clothes, paintings and music instruments. It is also possible to visit a nearby car museum with a lot of great retro cars. There is also a really great coffee shop, however, it is quite pricey and despite a great design and atmosphere I would recommend to visit another coffee place since u can find a huge variety of them in Baku.

The most pleasant impressions from visiting the Cultural Center. The building is a real futuristic future. I was very pleased with the fact that in addition to exhibits telling about the life of the first President of Azerbaijan, G. Aliyev, the Center constantly hosts exhibitions of contemporary art. Not a disadvantage, but rather an inconvenience for people with weak vestibular apparatus, it is worth noting the white color of the stairs in this building, which do not have right angles. I highly recommend visiting the Cultural Center. Otherwise, the experience of visiting this country will be incomplete.

I really liked the Heydar Aliyev Center! The building is impressive — unusual and beautiful architecture, everything is thought out to the smallest detail. I visited the exhibition “Silhouettes of Dreams” inside Andrey Ostashov's incredible works are filled with meaning and emotions. A great place for inspiration!

Interesting, modern space, cool architecture, wonderful exhibitions inside the center, both permanent and temporary. There is a museum of national carpets, national musical instruments, costumes, and tableware. The ticket price is 15 manats, which is about 750 rubles. In general, it is worth visiting this institution.

We were there for 3 hours and regretted that we arrived late..There wasn't enough time for everything. Be sure to visit

The Heydar Aliyev Cultural Center makes a strong impression primarily with its futuristic architecture. Inside there is a high-tech exhibition with interactive installations, holograms and digital archives. It allows you to get acquainted with the latest history of Azerbaijan. The center is required to visit.

An interesting contemporary art center! I don't think it's necessary to visit, but if you have a lot of time and have looked at everything, you can go in. Exhibitions on various subjects, we personally really liked musical instruments, a miniature city, dolls and retro vehicles, colorful cars!

It's an amazing building! However, landscaping is currently underway and it is difficult to get around and photograph it from different angles. Exhibition: three floors of history. And five floors: musical instruments, dolls, carpets, etc. I was more impressed by the car show! I definitely recommend it)

There are many expositions, permanent and temporary. The Heydar Aliyev Museum, the Carpet Museum, the musical instruments museum, the doll exhibition are very nice, the art exhibitions ... we watched with great pleasure. We were with rejonk for 5 years, he wasn't particularly interested, he got tired quickly, but he went and watched anyway) He was delighted with the hall of musical instruments: you approach the instrument, the sensor turns on and the music plays))) It was a complete delight! Well, he also rode off the sloping walls))) The guard came up and warned that it was dangerous. The impression from the center is this: It is very similar to the Yeltsin Center in Yekaterinburg and the expo in Astana. And I'm also glad that I saw with my own eyes a building that is iconic in architecture :) By the way, there are queues of tourists in the morning. There was no queue after lunch.

A magnificent center! It was not for nothing that it was recognized as the best building in the world! If we talk about the contents of this center, then emotions are overwhelming! It seems to me that the best of what can be has been collected! An exhibition of carpets, dolls, cars!

I had an aesthetic orgasm at the Heydar Aliyev Center. This is an authentic masterpiece from the legendary architect Zaha Hadid (the first woman to be awarded the Pritzker Prize)👏 The building bends bizarrely and changes its appearance depending on the angle. In 2014, it was awarded the Design of the Year award. The interior is even more striking. The building seems to hover above you. Stairs are especially impressive. When you look at the central staircase from above, the light steals the steps (I don't even know how to describe it reliably). Just blow your head off🔥 There are several expositions inside. The part is naturally about the path of Heydar Aliyev himself, in particular his cars. A little bit of modern art (for some reason). I liked the exhibition of dolls and the hall with the national instruments of Azerbaijan. Among other things, an exposition of classic cars is located in the Heydar Aliyev Center on the minus third floor of the parking lot (you need to take a ticket separately). Alas, this is not the best exhibition hall — it's stuffy and dark (as you know, they don't make windows in the parking lot), but I had to put up with it. Now let's move on to the pros. Each car stands separately in its place, and you can get very close to it from any side, there are no fences. Good lighting of the exhibits. There is a sign with information in Azerbaijani and English next to it, and there is a QR code in the corner, clicking on which you can see Russian. Wonderful photographs were used to decorate the exhibition, among which there are famous works, but photos from Baku's past turned out to be especially interesting. In the exhibition hall you can see dozens of magnificent cars in excellent condition. Here are masterpieces from the Porsche family and Harley Earl. Among the exhibits you can find various models of Rolls-Royces, Jaguars, Mercedes and BMW. The legendary "Mustang", "Charger" and "Corvette" are also presented here. Soviet cars are not forgotten either: "Volga", "Moskvichi", "Pobedy", "Chaika", "Zhiguli" and "Emki". There is a Bugatti Veyron for delivery - the fastest production car of the early noughties. In my opinion, the most interesting exhibit is the Mercedes 300 SL Flügelturen, known as the "Seagull Wing". He's just beautiful!

A must-visit! We were a family with a six-year-old child, everyone was delighted 🎉 modern museum, lots of interactive content. It was the right decision to start the April vacation with this museum. The building was built according to the prototype of the painting of Heydar Aliyev, and it is impressive. Comfortable, clean, there is a cafeteria, more for snacking and drinking coffee than having lunch, although there seemed to be hot dishes.

A building of cosmic scale . It feels amazing, like I've come to another time. Exhibitions for the amateur . But the center itself is impossible to compare with anything: smooth curved lines, lots of light and air. An unforgettable experience. It is necessary to visit just to see the beauty inside the center. There is a cafe: you can drink tea, coffee or wine. There are many elevators . Tune in to the fact that there is no indicative information inside. Don 't expect much from exhibitions . The main thing is the building itself .

An amazing and impressive building by the brilliant architect Zaha Hadid. It is located on a hill, the area around is landscaped, and offers a beautiful view of the city. The interior architecture is no less impressive than the exterior. There are a lot of different expositions in the center, both permanent and replaceable. The expositions of traditional musical instruments and carpets, as well as an exhibition of dolls, were very interesting. There is a cafe and a lobby on the ground floor.

The place is mandatory to visit Firstly, it is an architectural masterpiece, both the building itself and the park area nearby Secondly, there are a lot of sculptures nearby and you can't get up to the most Thirdly, there are always amazing exhibitions and an excellent interior inside It's like HPP 2 but 10 years older It is maintained and operated with great care Alas, not all the exhibitions inside are amazing, but in general the quality of the exposition is very high. It's a great place and it has great content Alas, the cafe inside is a stupid sadness

As a guest in Baku, be sure to visit this center and the surrounding area. The building looks very graceful and interesting. Very well maintained and clean space nearby. The building is very large inside, which sometimes makes it seem like it's a little empty or everything has already been collected. Although there is something to show in the Republic with its centuries-old culture.

You can delete any other museum in Baku except the Aliyev Center from the programs! A truly modern multicultural center, where there is a place for completely different expositions, It is a very good idea to combine both modern art and traditional crafts in an unusual futuristic building. The interior space is made of white gloss and glass, the elegant wide staircase to the second floor magically attracts the eye and those who want to take pictures, breaks stereotypes and orientation in space when descending it! I'm not talking about very unusual exhibitions under one roof. An exhibition of (modest) Heydar Aliyev cars, a chic and very diverse exhibition of dolls made with humor and extreme similarity to living prototypes, an exhibition of miniature and unusual bronze sculptures in which you will definitely hang, an exhibition of carpets, national instruments from around the world that will sound when you approach, and much more. We were thrilled. And unusual photos on the surface and background of the building are provided for you! Perhaps one of the most interesting places in Baku! What is called a must have!

It is a beautiful, aesthetic and harmonious modern complex. The building itself as a work of art is an interesting design. The complex houses several exhibitions: cars, carpets, dolls, models of Baku buildings, the story of Aliyev's life, an art gallery, etc. There is a cafe with drinks and desserts. The place is definitely top 3 in Baku, a must-visit!

Not so long ago, I visited the Heydar Aliyev Cultural Center and was impressed by its architecture. The building impresses with its design both outside and inside, creating a unique atmosphere. The exhibitions at the center are diverse, but I especially remember the exhibition of dolls, which stood out for its approach and skill. Unfortunately, the meeting with the staff left much to be desired: the girl at the checkout and the service in the coffee shop inside could have been more welcoming. Nevertheless, in general, the visit left a pleasant impression. I especially recommend visiting the center at sunset, when the building is illuminated by the evening sun and looks even more impressive.

The real highlight of Azerbaijan can be considered the Heydar Aliyev Center. Unusual architecture, space-shaped buildings created by architect Zaha Hadid. It's just beautiful, both inside and out!!! There are many exhibitions in the cultural center - the right wing highlights the life of Heydar Aliyev himself; the left wing is an exhibition of retro cars, an insert of dolls, an exhibition of musical instruments, etc. A great recreation area . The Heydar Aliyev Center in Baku. By far the most beautiful and interesting building both externally and in terms of content. Lay down at least 3 hours to carefully examine everything and go everywhere. Don't spare the money. An exhibition of retro cars is taking place in the basement. Be sure to look here. The ticket here is separate. There are about 60 cars on display. Very cool, be sure to come here. As for the permanent exhibition at the Heydar Aliyev Center, it is also worthy of your attention. Many halls are dedicated to the history of Azerbaijan. Of course, we were impressed by the halls with musical instruments and dolls. There is also a hall with carpets. There were temporary exhibitions of Uzbek culture. And a lot more. Just come and see everything with your own eyes. Of course, there is a hall dedicated to Heydar Aliyev and his life path. The center will not leave you indifferent.

A very beautiful building, extraordinary architecture without right angles. The white staircase is like a space portal. The exposition on Aliyev is in Azerbaijani and English. As if Azerbaijan was not a part of a large country of the USSR, how much was invested in it, how it developed during the Soviet period. Only Comrade Aliyev's certificates are in Russian. Very interesting collections of musical instruments and dolls.

A very interesting building, perfectly integrated into the space. Huge, comfortable inside. There is a museum dedicated to Heydar Aliyev, an exhibition of gifts from presidents, including ours. A collection of cars, folk instruments, carpets, and models of significant buildings are presented.… You can't list everything. A wonderful exhibition of handmade dolls. We were stuck for 3 hours, if not more. We could have spent the whole day, but we decided that it would be better to come back again. The entrance fee is 15 manat, which is 750 re. Tolerable)) And yes, I agree that there is not enough information in Russian, although you can take an audio guide. I remembered the words of Muslim Magomayev: "Azerbaijan is my father. Russia is my mother" And I would like to talk to my mother in Russian)) And Baku is beautiful and the people are wonderful, we are charmed, and we wish you the same! ☀️🫶🏻

We visited this center in June 2025, a place that is primarily interesting for its architecture. But, during our visit, there was a renovation near the building. It spoiled the impression a bit. Exhibitions are held inside and there are permanent exhibitions. There is an exhibition Azerbaijan in miniature, where all the main sights of Azerbaijan are presented. We liked the doll show the most, very beautiful handmade dolls with incredible costumes. There is an exhibition with musical instruments, which is also very interesting and informative. The place should be visited as the main attraction of Azerbaijan. The entrance fee is 15 manats.

It is necessary to visit... but not because it is an interesting museum. A beautiful futuristic building with visual effects outside and inside. There is practically no content. The part dedicated to G.Aliyev is a demonstration of modern museum technologies. And that's all... it doesn't arouse much interest, like any ideological enterprise. The part dedicated to Azerbaijan is meaningless pieces of history, culture, and art. The car exhibition is probably of interest to car lovers... no more. The rest of the exhibition space is a demonstration of what you can thoughtlessly spend "oil" money on. And yet - a traveler should see this place

A brilliant example of birdshit architecture. A pompous building in a residential area, surrounded by new buildings. Even from the nearest metro station, it's a twenty-minute walk, bus stops are 300 meters away, the center was not built for ordinary people. There is nothing to see, the exhibits have no cultural value, and the entrance fee (15 manats) is three to four times too high. On the one hand, the center is being renovated, on the other, it has already begun to fall apart (marble tiles in the photo). A separate fail is the invisible steps on the south side, you can easily break your arm or leg, keep an eye on the children!
