The service is good, the staff is friendly. The food is normal, i.e. everyone will find something to their liking, but do not hope - this is not Turkey. The beach is good, the water and sand are clean. The rooms are clean, we had them cleaned every day. The territory is not large, everything is within walking distance (we needed one). The animation is very good, all day long.

I was at this hotel from January 25th to February 3rd. We lived in a hotel under the sign of the zodiac Capricorn in room 1113 on the 3rd floor overlooking the sea. I liked everything very much. The entrance to the sea is good, the room was cleaned every day, the food was of high quality, the animators of the girls Ksyusha and Natasha - the charm of the girl - did not let you get bored. . All Excursions were bought through the tour operator.
The company has worked 100% for us..14 days of rest have been visited :
1) a boat trip with diving and snorkeling on a yacht - the team. The animators are excellent (the team (staff) is multifaceted: they managed the yacht , cooked and entertained , worked to the fullest , it was a sin not to tip
2) 2-day tour Cairo- Alexandria - excellent 2 days in one go (security has a separate respect, the hotel in Cairo has failed (sovdopovsky, but not critical for 1 night)
3) desert safari - good instruction, attentive and erudite guide (Hedgehog group)
4) Luxor - informative, fun, informative, good program, well organized ,
5) Submarine - for the exotic intresno-. Good organization , divers adjusted the fish so that tourists would be interested .
6) diving with 2 dives is, as usual, a good organization , a multidisciplinary attentive team. Separately , I would like to note the work of diving instructors ( who in parallel were sailors , cooks and animators - individual work with each tourist , absolutely everyone was even panicked , plunged in and were incredibly happy . So that you would understand . The 9-year-old boy was still persuaded by the instructor ( he was even afraid to jump into the water ) I taught him and the child immersed himself , it was necessary to see how they worked with him correctively and carefully . At the end of the Tour, a special stop was made for him and, to the applause of the entire ship, he plunged under the water - yes, pp 5 minutes, but it was a victory and the super professionalism of the team and attention to tourists, and for free ( they did not pay separately )
To summarize: we paid $1,100 for all the Excursions .
Meals on excursions are completely normal .
Tourist safety is at a high level

The representative of the tour operator is excellent (he picked up gorgeous Excursions without intersections and diverse at the most favorable prices, with good logistics, always in touch and, not least, recognizable - in a corporate form!)
All boat trips with diving and snorkeling were accompanied by instructors who showed interesting moments, watched tourists, and even adjusted fish to tourists and moray eels at a safe distance !(all equipment was provided complete with flippers and masks) - great job!!
The prices of the tour operator were quite adequate and in places and even cheaper than similar ones from other tour providers.
Egypt is fire!!!
Cons- the food is a little monotonous, slightly annoying, alcohol is better from Duty free.

The hotel justifies its four beautiful, large territory, well-groomed, which can not be said about the beach, the sun beds are old, a lot of broken ones, once we saw a kid who was raking garbage and that's it. But we are used to people :), come, clean up around and rest :). The sea, here it is, is warm, the entrance is wonderful, the sun is hot, the company is wonderful. The food, as everywhere else, is not bad. It was enough. I have always wondered why there is no normal choice of fish dishes, at sea and with almost no moproducts. If you decide which hotel to go to for a vacation, you can safely choose Mercuri, considering that it is 4 , have a nice stay!

The hotel expanded, there were two additional pools, new buildings, and we had a family room in one of them.Well, as a family.. the same room, only for children there was a small cubicle, which had a bunk bed, a chair, a built-in wardrobe and a TV on the wall.She was so tiny that the working air conditioner immediately froze her, and if you don't turn it on, the heat. The door had to be left open so that the air conditioner would cool both rooms. But the terrace is at least a horse walk. No umbrella, no awning, no clothes dryer. The food is monotonous, sometimes there was nothing to choose for dinner or lunch, what kind of seafood is there?Fruits-unripe melon, apples, oranges, sometimes watermelon-it's in August! Everything is salty and peppery. My stomach ached all the time.Alcohol is low-grade. There is no animation! Young and funny animators who don't know what to do with the audience.. Mossy, monotonous minidiscoe, aqua aerobics, charging. If you want to have fun, you can go to a disco in the city for $20. The excursions also left a lasting impression. We took them from TEZ-TUR. I repeat, we were in Egypt, I wanted to show the children this interesting country.But everything has changed a lot. We have not heard at all about the pharaohs, nor about ancient cities, dynasties, who usurped who, who united... All the stories are about how Arabs get married and live with their wives, and endless shops. Yes, and we traveled to these places then, but we somehow did not feel such a desire to just pull money from you. But the most beautiful thing is the shops that are located on the territory of the hotel. It's just terrorism. It is impossible to calmly go to the reception (there is no other way there). Every time you go to Calvary, you have to go through these rows of annoying touts! Well, the cherry on the cake is our departure. Instead of relaxing at sea (the plane took off at 15.30), the charter reduced it for us by as much as 9 hours! At 3 a.m., we picked up our sleepy children, took packed, all crumpled rolls and four bottles of water, instead of a full breakfast, and were cheerfully escorted home. We stayed at the hotel for 10 nights, from 6.11.2024 to 11/16/2024, after 5 days I really wanted to go home.....The hotel itself, the territory is well maintained, they try. But the rooms are certainly shabby, the plaster is falling off in places, the furniture is very old ... but Egypt itself is very dirty, very. The hotel territory is constantly cleaned, the lawn is mowed, the sea is gorgeous, the sand is not very gentle, there are many small coral or construction debris, it is not clear, but the water is crystal clear. Towels are given out old, torn in places.
The staff is very polite, responsive, almost everyone speaks Russian, they are smiling, if you give them a dollar they will become even nicer and kinder.
On food.....there are a lot of unusual things, very few really normal food that we are used to, it is impossible to eat cheese and sausage like plasticine, of course there are a lot of sweets, a lot of flour, there were only oranges, dates, hard green melon and pomegranate from fruits.
The ala carte restaurant is generally better not to go and book, there are few children's playgrounds and they are very old and gloomy....It was scary to go there at all. I would not choose this hotel anymore. Internet is only in the lobby, there is no Internet in the rooms, Wi-Fi does not catch

I was with a friend at this hotel at the end of November 2021, I really liked everything! We went on vacation and we succeeded! The staff is friendly, the vacationers are all positive, everyone told us what kind of excursion to go on. The food is varied, beef, chicken, fish, lots of vegetables and fruits. I'm not picky, I really liked everything.Animation -guys and girls are great! Every day there is something new and interesting. Abama, Irina, Nastya, Andrey, Carlos you are the best!!!! The sea is super!!! If you go there, take a mask with you and have a great mood! You can take a taxi to Hurghada, everything is nearby. There is an excellent oil and perfume shop on site, I recommend you to visit. Mohammed and Franco vom will pick up to your taste and treat you to delicious karkade tea! 2 adults and 1 child 6 years old. The room was quite comfortable. The son slept separately in a niche with a mattress-type bed. He liked it. I chose the hotel based on several rave reviews that everything is fine, everything is delicious and varied. Apparently, these reviews were filmed on the first day of your stay. The sea is certainly at 5. the staff smiles properly at all 32 and even more so if you give a dallar. A dollar left at the mirror in the room turns into a swan or a turtle in general, it's cool. I rate it for the monotony of the food and the fact that during the stay the day before departure, the card on the towel was lost, for which I had to pay 15 bucks. No one warned about this. It turns out that everything is written in small print from the back of the card, as in the loan agreement. If you decide to go to this hotel, keep in mind the brazen crows who steal food left under an umbrella by the pool and the same brazen sparrows who peck from plates right in the restaurant while you went for drinks, for example. In the early days, we met a couple from Moscow who were abroad for the first time and who were literally satisfied with everything. Meeting a few days later, I heard the phrase - you were right about the monotony of nutrition. In general, this hotel is more like an average Turkish three-star hotel. You won't starve, but don't count on any variety either. Meat with the smell and taste of goat skin was served several times. I don't care, but my son and wife don't eat that. In general, as a result, Greece, namely Hurghada, where there is nothing to see and the Mercury hotel is never worth visiting for the 2nd time. Of course, the taste and color, as they say. But after Greece and Bulgaria, we will not go to Hurghada anymore.

HURGHADA 20 YEARS LATER...
I was in Hurghada for the 2nd time (before that in 2003).
I was very impressed and delighted with my vacation spent in this wonderful hotel.
In order:
Aeroflot round-trip flight without delays
Individual transfer in both directions 5 minutes from the airport to go.
I arrived at the hotel at 15:20 and was immediately checked into room 1534 on the 1st floor with a sea view.
The room was clean, everything worked, they cleaned well, there was a tea set, 2b water every day, if you replace the linen, put a special piece of paper on the bed and they will change it for you, the safe is free, someone has 6 hangers in the closet, there is no dryer on the balcony, a bathrobe with slippers was given immediately upon request, my room was usually cleaned after 14 it didn't bother me, I spent the whole day at sea.
The food has made me feel better
The breakfasts are standard, I liked the porridges, they don't cook delicious porridges everywhere) the pastries are just lux-made with soul.
Lunch and dinner liquid soup, meat, fish, a selection of side dishes, pasta station, well, very tasty) good conditioning of the restaurant.
Fruits-melon, dates, oranges, grefruits, watermelons were given 3 times during the two weeks of my stay.
Yes, for coffee lovers in the main restaurant on zavrak lunch and dinner, I make excellent coffee in a large machine, milk is nearby.
Of course, biscuits and local desserts were present.
There are 2 types of ice cream in the pool bar, mole and shock. There's a snack there, I didn't try it, I didn't have the strength anymore))

The food was normal, there was always fish, beef and chicken. There is a lot of greenery. Melons were among the fruits, sweet ones were rarely found, pomegranates sometimes and guava was a couple of times. There are a lot of desserts, the pastries are delicious. The animators are good, Ismail is like a bomb! I've done this kind of aqua aerobics - I've never seen it better. Our guy Grisha was doing awesome yoga, such a cool guy, everyone was melting from his smile.I was just proud that Grisha was Russian. Grisha, you're a handsome man! Everyone became friends with the beauty Tina, Milan is also handsome, active and charming. Great respect to the animators. The beach is good, gentle entrance, sand.
