I do not recommend this hotel:
1) Very weak kitchen level.
2) The gym is paid

I rested here in November, as it seemed to me that there are a lot of our compatriots, for someone it may seem like a minus, but I felt like I was on Brighton beach. Such "experts" of English as I was very pleased with the Russian-speaking staff. Everywhere is clean, you can't get to the bottom of it, the room is cleaned every day, the beach is cleaned, the pool is washed and the sunbeds are also washed, otherwise I would like to have such a staff home. The kitchen is wonderful, everyone will find something for themselves, the cook who made coconut pudding a separate bow to you. Of the minuses, it's not obvious, but these are pigeons and pigeon protection on balconies, it's not clear if it helps because pigeons hang out there anyway and do their dirty deeds, but they also clean it up. In general, since this is my first trip abroad as an adult, I have only the most pleasant memories, it will be difficult to impress me with some other hotel after that.

I was at this hotel from March 15 to March 24. Thanks to Victoria, who settled in the morning, without waiting for the official check-in.

I ordered a sea view in advance, which turned out to be more correct, those who settled with a view of the road did not have the opportunity to move.
Thanks to the chef of the restaurant, for the delicious food. There was too much variety and there was no choice, but everyone could find something to eat for themselves.
I took breakfast and dinner, which can be exchanged for lunch.
What I liked the most: watermelons, desserts, hummus, artichokes, olives, salads, chicken kebab (unfortunately there was one time), good fish, coconut milk soup, fresh orange in the morning.
Of the minuses: for lunch and dinner, all drinks are paid, even water. The restaurant has expensive food and small portions. It is more profitable to take a dinner or lunch buffet for 100 dirhams. In the nearby Carlton hotel for 58 dirhams, but less variety and not as tasty. Bathrobes and slippers on request, although 4 stars, cleaning is not very good. Local administrators and staff are not very helpful. Compensated our Russian girls!
Out of 10 days of rest -5 there was a storm, and the storm - it's a big word - is not allowed, even if small waves.
Please ask the hotel management to reconsider this situation!
There were tides and ebbs that didn't bother me at all, I wanted to swim! There are many beautiful shells after the storm.
In general, the rest was a success - from Moscow winter to summer!

I chose a hotel for a long time, thanks to the reviews I chose this one and did not lose. This is a great hotel for families with children. The staff is very responsive, everyone speaks Russian, the cleaning is 5. Nice and clean inside, the food is beyond praise: everything we ate, everything was delicious! A 5-year-old child always found something to eat. The sea, oh this sea, of all I saw, and we were many places, it was the most beautiful, clean, white sand, blue water. It is better to swim before lunch, because then there are always strong waves. We sat down immediately at 10 for free, while waiting for the test, we quietly moved around the hotel. Masks were worn on the chin or not at all, only in the restaurant at the distribution it is mandatory to wear the mask completely. There was a compliment in the form of cookies in the room. Tea and coffee are put in every day, there is a kettle, 2 bottles of water for 0.5. It is better to take a sea view, since there is a road on the other side, and there are beautiful sunsets every day. Lunch is not included on the day of departure, the reception said that only for a fee, including a child. But in the restaurant, when paying, the girl, very nice, said that the child could be fed for free. It was very nice! There is a supermarket nearby, leaving the hotel to the left, go to the traffic light, cross the road and walk a little more to the left. There is almost everything at reasonable prices. It was 13-17 dirhams before the fountains of Sharjah (they don't work by the way, but it's nice to walk there, including al qsbaa Street). There is an aquarium, 15 minutes on foot. From the hotel to the right, after passing 2 rings, you will be at the place: sharjah aquarium.
There is a free bus to Sharjah City Center, check the time at the reception.
This is the rare case when we liked everything.

Great hotel!!! The beach is super!!! But with HB, it's better to go to lunch than to dinner. Dinners are a little meager, but they are more than compensated for by sooo decent lunches. The staff is friendly, polite. Mostly from Asia: Pakistan, Malaysia, etc. Problems: there are no restaurants nearby. There is in the hotel itself, but in winter it is open until 22:00. There is a supermarket and a pharmacy nearby.

September 23. We chose this hotel based on reviews, ratings and rest in a nearby hotel. To say that I'm in shock is to say nothing. No one warned that it was being repaired. And it's just a shock for me, as for a spoiled "all in" person: there is a complete lack of free drinks for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Even water. On the table there is a menu with drinks, where a can of cola is 500 rubles. Are you serious!? A ticket for 300,000 and there is not even water. FU. Egypt, Turkey, Tunisia, Sharjah 2014- and here's the cherry on the fucking cake Occidental 2023. Pension Burgas ito does not behave like this.

I am extremely surprised by the enthusiastic reviews, I chose tk relative to people's reviews, but, as it turned out, our ideas about "excellent" are completely different.
Those who have ever been in the Turkish five with their diversity should immediately imagine that this hotel pulls Maxim on the Turkish two. Next in order:
PROS:
1. Close to the airport
2. Free shuttle to Dubai Mall and various Malls in Sharjah
3. Deluxe Sea View rooms are good: large, spacious, comfortable, giant bed, all bathroom accessories are available, replenished.
CONS:
1. Food: Diversity should be diverse, here diversity means that breakfasts will be different from lunches and dinners, but lunches and dinners are identical. To choose from vegetables - cucumbers or tomatoes, that's all. From fruits: melon or watermelon, and also everything. I also make salads from leftover vegetables from previous meals, which, of course, is logical, BUT I have come across rotten vegetables more than once..All juices are packaged.
2. Swimming pool: If the hotel is full, you will lie on each other's heads, and the pool will be approximately like a large bathtub.
3. The beach: Overall, the beach is not bad:sand, blue water, gentle entrance (50 meters to go to the depth). It is located so that the sun appears there only around 10 am, that is, if you want to sunbathe during "safe" hours, you simply cannot. + during my stay at the sea there was a storm, which entailed a large amount of garbage that was brought from the sea to the shore, no one cleaned it, there were also a lot of dead seagulls, they were also in no hurry to clean up, once on the 10th they agreed to clean up, but they were simply put on tables near the sunbeds,exactly where you usually put water, personal belongings and, possibly, food. Nothing has changed in 4 days.
4. Security: Bracelets are worn only by those who are All Inclusive, the rest are without, respectively, you can go to the hotel without problems from the main entrance (there is no security), from the beach, you can go to the beach from the public, there are also fire escapes on the side that are not guarded in any way and lead straight to the rooms. I also learned that for an additional fee, you can come to this hotel just to relax, that is, in fact, anyone can come and take something away. I didn't have that, but anything happens.
5. FOR CHILDREN: There is nothing. The playground and everything, that is, no mini clubs and so on. I'm without children, I don't care, but suddenly, someone will come in handy.
6. HALL: in the basement. Yes, it is not always possible to do it outdoors or with panoramic windows, but at least not in the basement and more pleasant.
7. ROOM: Saw a cockroach....
8. SERVICE: I didn't use it much, but there's not much help for you at the reception, not particularly friendly comrades)

I went on vacation with my daughter in August 2022. We had breakfast and dinner. Dinner can be changed for lunch. We changed dinner for lunch several times. (we went on excursions). Firstly, a very poor buffet. The food is the same. For breakfast, tea, coffee, sweets, etc. But at lunch and dinner THERE is NO WATER AT ALL!!! (no juice, no water, no tea, no coffee, NOTHING). I clarified, they told me that if you want to drink, you can buy it. How is that? I was sooo surprised. The hotel itself is not bad. The staff is responsive. But the fact that there is no water for lunch and dinner is the first time I have encountered. Next time I'll choose another hotel.

We had a rest in December 2022, the food was breakfast/ dinner, as we arrived late in the evening for dinner, we were immediately told at the reception that lunch would be included the next day, since you did not have time for dinner.
The staff is very responsive, there are Russian speakers.
The rooms are cleaned acceptably, you can certainly do better.
The food is not very diverse, often what people have not finished at dinner is served for breakfast, a lot of locals come to the weekend, at least some variety in food begins (maybe it's certainly not related to this, but I doubt it very much)
There are a lot of Russian-speaking tourists.
Wi-Fi works perfectly throughout the territory, in fact, the territory itself is very scarce, do not walk around, left the room and immediately the beach, for someone it will be a plus, and for someone a minus.
There is no entertainment at all, the guy is an animator and two Russian girls, they disappear somewhere all day, and a couple of times a day they spend charging on this.
In general, for a very lazy and leisurely holiday, the hotel is very good.

Water +30. The food is average, but you can eat enough, there were not enough French fries, fried chicken. The service is at the highest level, tips are begging for. The beach is excellent, clean, well maintained. The staff is friendly, there are Russian speakers. The rooms are too small, but it's okay. The location is excellent, shops are within walking distance, prices are affordable, there is also an exchanger. The territory is clean, often cleaned, everything is decent.

I still leave reviews only when I can't help but write. I had a rest at the hotel in February.
Arrived early. They immediately gave me a card for the beach and told me where everything is located. They promised to check in as soon as the room was ready, although I didn't even have time to ask. Checked in a few hours earlier. The room was with a sea view: the picture is simply gorgeous. The room is spacious, the bed is king size. Balcony with table and chairs. Cleaned normally. Water and tea were replenished every day. Yes, sets in the bathroom for the entire rest period one at a time.
It is very convenient to use the hotel application for the phone. There were problems with the safe: I wrote in the application, everything was quickly fixed, there was no need to go anywhere and wait for anyone. There is also an entry for a bus to Dubai Mall. Fast and comfortable. All I could hear in my room was the sound of waves.
The bay in this place is shallow, so even in February the water is very warm. The beach is clean, sun beds, umbrellas, everything is enough. The pool is large, the water is warm. Due to the fact that the hotel is on the first line, you have time to go to the sea or to the pool, even if you leave early for excursions.
The restaurant is also well organized. Quickly cleaned, all dishes are heated, the chef constantly monitors the situation. The fruits were watermelon, melon, oranges, pineapples. Chocolate fountain.
A ten-minute walk from the Sharjah Aquarium and the museum with ships. It's small, but you can see it. It is located in a very beautiful place on the embankment and the ticket price is low.
There is an inexpensive supermarket near the hotel. There was no special need. I bought fruits: mango and strawberries. Cheap dates for gifts. It was calculated with cards everywhere.
The deposit was not taken at the hotel.
Since I was originally going to rest in Dubai, but all the hotels where I wanted to, went to the stop, the travel agency offered this hotel: good reviews from tourists, 10 minutes from Dubai airport, and it's not difficult to get to the center of Dubai.
As a result, this trip turned out to be one of the best. I didn't want to leave the hotel. It happens to me very rarely. Practically does not happen. I understood why people go to this hotel 10 times. I think this is understandable by the size of my review.)))

The former Grand Hotel, now it is Occidental, this hotel is the most comfortable on the entire coast of Sharjah.
The hotel itself has become more comfortable and bright, the rooms are clean, the beds are soft, the bed linen is crisp and snow-white.
In this hotel you can take all inclusive , head.dinner.dinner. (buffet , different dishes , there is a choice)If you do not plan to leave the hotel and enjoy the sea and tranquility every day , then you are here , there is no city bustle here .
A free shuttle runs from the hotel to Dubai at lunch , in the evening it brings you to the place at the hotel . Excursions around Dubai are also available at the Reception and you can choose any one .. Have a nice rest for everyone .

Taxi drivers at the hotel are cunning: their indistinct eighteen quickly turn into eighty. Be careful when ordering a taxi.
There is a free bus service to Dubai on schedule. Book a place in advance. Immediately upon check-in. Booking from the hotel program on the phone.
There is a Russian-speaking guide in the lobby - she helped us a lot.
