We visited this restaurant on recommendation. At the entrance, you will be greeted by numerous photos with various celebrities. The interior is designed in the style of a tavern. The music seemed too loud. We had a hard time finding what to order on the menu. Very specific dishes of Belarusian and Baltic cuisine. In the end, we ordered what we knew: carp with mashed potatoes, tartare and liqueur. The restaurant is not cheap and, in our opinion, overrated.

I didn't like it! The kitchen is ordinary- nothing special, we ordered borscht with pompous mushrooms- it's edible, but it doesn't appeal to the best local cuisine- it's an ordinary medium-level dish, the same serving, nothing interesting.
The same can be said about other appetizers and dishes.
Pure marketing aimed at tourists, I think the locals don't eat there.
There was no interest in coming a second time.

The service is on top, hello- goodbye, quickly, clearly well done! I liked the food too- it was delicious. Black pudding cooking quality, combination, sauce, serving is excellent. Pike cutlets are delicious, the whole dish is even mashed. In other places, the blender-whipped, warmed puree in pike cutlets is inedible even at Novikov's in Moscow. Dumplings- took my soul away! In general, only positive emotions, a pleasant atmosphere, clean, cozy. We were satisfied with the visit!!!

It's a very atmospheric place!
It's a pity that we couldn't have lunch there. At lunchtime, there were enough people waiting in line outside.
There were three of us, but despite the free table for two on the veranda, it was impossible to substitute a third chair for it, as this would prevent the waiters from walking. It's understandable, the waiters work there all day, and we wanted to come in for only half an hour. It's immediately clear who's in charge there.
I couldn't have lunch - it's okay, you can always read positive reviews, as if you've been there yourself!

amazing food. Everything is very tasty.
But I was upset by a simple thing. Maybe someone will say that I'm trying to "find fault", but no.
Full boarding at the restaurant. We were lucky. The table near the piano with CANDLES was empty. I was sitting with my back to the candlesticks, which were burning (real candles).
We had a great dinner with my husband, we didn't save money =)
I went to the bathroom, and the waitress who was changing candles, and the customers who were waiting in line for the bathroom, and after I left, looked at me strangely.
It turns out that the candle, on the piano, all this time, the wax was dripping on my back..
Well, it was impossible not to see it.
I don't need a discount or anything. But honestly, it's very frustrating. At home, I noticed. And at the moment, I'm trying to remove the wax from the sweater and trousers 🤬

The biggest disadvantage is that you need to book in advance.
We arrived at 3 p.m. on May 8th. There are no places and there are no plans. We booked for May 9th and by then we had fully enjoyed the witches, the cold drink and the awesome horseradish.
We took a sample of the usual and honey. Both are simply masterpieces.
Horseradish is an indicator of the quality of folk cuisine in any restaurant where there is Slavic cuisine. You can count such restaurants in every city on your fingers. There aren't many of them even in St. Petersburg.
The bill is at the level of a good restaurant in Moscow or St. Petersburg. Between the two of us, we got about 8 thousand. At the same time, they ate and drank without excess.
One of the downsides to eating is that a plate of lard consists of great lard and non-chewy bacon. Half of the sliced bacon went into a napkin.
A bowl of butter with some kind of additive is served to the vegetable slicing.
The taste of this dressing is zero. I want to emphasize the taste of vegetables. Even simple sour cream with garlic would be nicer. But it's all a matter of taste.
If you want to go out, you won't have to spare any money.

the interior is of the "tavern, karch" level, but not the restaurant, judging by the premium prices (borscht 38 bel rub, set of draniki 70 bel rub, black tea 10 bel rub (for foreign guests, the exchange rate is bel rub to euro 3.35 for today).
I liked the waiters' work, the guy tried very hard, the girl helped in his absence - both are friendly, positive, they know the menu, comment, advise. in general, no questions asked.
we ordered borscht with pampushki for two: it felt warm, with a changed color, to the middle three, without admiration.
eggplant rolls "in a hurry" - imitation of Georgian cuisine (when and where was it cooked in the traditional cuisine of Belarus???) there is an imitation, from the billet, cold, stood, well, for three with hunger.
set of draniki: 9 draniki in three piles, with different extras. 1st cheese curd, nothing. 2nd smoked meat in cream sauce with deep-fried onions - so-so, well, at least hot), 3rd mushrooms without sauce, not impressed, without the taste of mushrooms.
Draniki themselves: I'm sorry, it's a complete disappointment. half-cooked, the potato fibers crunched from under-roasting, the draniki are not fried with heat from the heat, not freshly cooked, they look very much like draniki, previously frozen, and thawed and heated in the oven before serving, the feeling is that they are from the billet again, there is no taste. any decent housewife does better without options.
sorcerers with meat and sauce: the same story for potatoes as for draniki: dry, half-cooked potatoes, tasteless, minced meat with a specific seasoning for an amateur. in short, a minus.
tea is holy water in a sachet.
the situation with the claim to Litvinism and gentry, in fact, has nothing to do with the history of Belarus or traditions. the music was played on a white move, which I had never heard in my whole life in Belarus - everything is modern, squalid, especially the blood came out of my ears when howls on the "masterpiece" move were inserted into foreign hits, I did not know how to leave faster (the smallest prank is Besame Mucho on a white move with bad vocals - read in bad taste).
the total receipt is 170 BEL RUB (without alcohol, only what is indicated above)

The restaurant is in the center, we were with the company on a weekday. The prices are above average, the menu is like a whole story - the legend of the dish. The serving is usual, the restaurant's feature is the traditional cuisine of the Polish principalities, apparently. In fact, the interior is "like a grandmother's", at prices it is expensive and easy to serve.

Delicious, fast.
The waiter suggested everything on the menu, recommended dishes and drinks, and did everything professionally.
It was quite crowded in the evening, but still there was a place for two of us on the outdoor veranda, plus a dog.

I accidentally came across this restaurant in the reviews in the forbidden graph and on a New Year's trip it was decided to visit, the serving of draniki differs from the one stated on the menu and on the website, but this absolutely did not spoil them, the freeloaders deserve special attention, as well as the tinctures: a set of 6 pieces can be called a "date" set 3 strong and 3 sweet for a lady and a gentleman. After reading the reviews that this is the best national restaurant in Minsk, we specially booked it in advance. The restaurant was really full.
There are no complaints about food. Everything is delicious. It may only take a little long to wait, but this is due to the number of people. Very tasty apple kvass!
But not for tinctures! That's a minus. It smells unrealistically strongly of alcohol, the taste is not felt at all. Compared with Moscow wine glasses, these tinctures do not stand up to any criticism
Otherwise, great!
And one more small plus - they let us in with the dogs without any problems!
