It is perfectly restored, although it is new, but you feel like a knight there, as if you are in the past. It's fun to get to the night of museums, rock festival, fire show and many cool events...it is possible by car, minibus or train.

And don't talk about the new model))). Anyway, it is the center of attraction for all sorts of things, from folk stories and archaeological research, to tourism and souvenir making. It's still a movement that's cool. The impressions are the best. A lot of things have changed the way we look at Belarus or Belarus (whichever way we like it) very much.

We were passing through the Belarusian city of Lida.
Early in the morning. We stopped by, I really wanted to compare it with other castles that I had a chance to see - Nesvizh, the Old and New castles of Grodno.
Lida is huge and tall.
They didn't get inside.
From the outside, it impresses with the size and height of the fortress walls.

Good afternoon! There was a family in the Castle on 05/27/2023. We arrived from Minsk at lunch, rented an apartment and went for a walk! We went around the whole castle, we liked everything. The child was jumping and riding in the children's area near the castle. We went around and bought souvenirs in full at the Souvenir shop and in 5 small chambers of artisans at the entrance. The castle is certainly not a palace, there is nothing to do there for more than an hour on a weekday, but we came specifically for the Holiday :) Therefore, from 17 to 20 o'clock, we and all the numerous guests of the castle enjoyed cool cars from 1938 to 2023. There was a car rally with a detailed description and history. Super! From 20:05 to 21:20 we enjoyed the concert of the CAS group.Very sincere. Well, the most Delight was from 21:30 to 23:30 this SHOW is THE MAGIC OF FIRE AND LIGHT. IT WAS WONDERFUL AND ENCHANTING. We've seen a lot, but to have so many Professionals working with Fire, we've never seen it, it was Mega Super! They ate delicious. A restaurant and a nearby burger joint. Overall, the feeling is excellent.

Another medieval castle in Belarus. Like Mirsky, it was also a defensive structure, but older, its construction began in the 14th century. This is probably why it has a more severe appearance, powerful walls and towers without special decorations. The castle makes an impression. We were in it during a group tour from Minsk. Medieval entertainment was waiting for us in the courtyard of the castle - archery, sword fighting, the release of the "princess" from the cage, shooting from a sling, as well as the inhabitants of the castle in historical costumes and a concert of ancient music. I really liked it. I recommend you to visit.

The place is interesting. The big disadvantage is that the fortress stands inside the city. Modern buildings spoil the whole atmosphere. But if you don't look beyond the walls, then the exposition is interesting, albeit with a touch of modernity. We were happy to visit the castle, but a second visit without an event - a celebration or a performance - will not be interesting

We were passing through Lida. Couldn't get past it. An ancient castle, it looks like from a picture. The territory is well maintained, next to a small pond with fountains directly from the water. It is worth adding that animation for children is held on weekends, and once a year on the city day on August 31, knight fights are held.

Perhaps the most underrated castle of the three (Lida, Mir, Nesvizh). But at the same time I liked it more than others. Firstly, it is the oldest (it managed to catch the end of the era of chivalry), so the museum's exposition corresponds to the time, unlike the Mundane one. Secondly, stairs and passages are much more convenient for visitors. Thirdly, entrance tickets are cheaper.
In general, it is very worthy and interesting

Good museum spaces, an interesting medieval castle, somewhat clumsily restored. Friendly staff. Unfortunately, we witnessed an unpleasant incident that outraged us as museum workers. A small group came on an individual tour, which included a very drunk man. The security officer very correctly told him that she could not allow him to enter the castle in this form, offered to take a walk in the shade and come to her senses. This was followed by a wave of indignation and obscenity not only from this drunken citizen, but also from the women accompanying him. The most amazing thing is that the administrator began to apologize and justify herself to these drunken cattle, offered them to go to the Museum of local lore for free, and still sent them on a tour. As soon as the guide began to speak, this drunken citizen, slurring his tongue, swaying and spreading the smell of alcohol around, began to interrupt her with completely stupid and vile questions and remarks.
Colleagues, is that what it was? Why do you bend under such unscrupulous people? After all, there are rules for visiting museum sites - why do you spit on them? Don't you feel sorry for your guides and caretakers, who, instead of quality work, have to endure humiliation from drunks? Other visitors
, including children, who are watching all this? Why are you defiantly denying the work of security, which just worked very correctly and correctly!
It's a shame, colleagues. And very unprofessional.

We stopped by for an hour. I didn't like the exposition much, because there wasn't much to see. Weapons, fishing hooks, crockery shards, etc. Mannequins in clothes of that time. Frankly speaking, the times of chivalry were not distinguished by refinement and luxury. There are a lot of animal skins and stuffed animals.
But it's still an atmospheric place. The music of that time is playing, you can shoot arrows, fight on plastic swords.
I was surprised by the toilet, alone, all alone at all.

The castle is new. But it is made according to old drawings and gives a complete picture of how it could be. Interesting exhibitions are located in the towers. The towers are connected by a wall to the battle course. On the downside, the cafe only works with groups by pre-order. But there are others outside the walls). The castle hosts jousting tournaments and weddings in historical costumes

Practically a new model, it's pretty boring, it's enough to walk around the fortress perimeter outside and inside for free. Everything made of red brick has been completed in our time. They didn't even try to pretend that it was old. Blunder, blunder. In the museum, almost all the exhibits are reconstruction, and rather clumsily done, perhaps it would be more interesting with a guide, but there is not much to look at. Next to the castle there is a pond with variegated swans (for the first time I see them, white-brown color), ducks, birds can be fed.

The exposition is small, but it is there. There are exhibitions and museums in the castle tower. It was impossible to understand something on the site. Tickets are sold inside. The castle is located in the city center.
There is no ticket price or any description of the castle itself on the castle's website. It is not even clear that there is a permanent exhibition in the castle.
There is no parking around. You have to park in neighboring courtyards, but the place allows you to arrange Parking.
The staff is not helpful. Excursions must be booked in advance, but this cannot be done on the website. It is located in the very center of the city. The cafe inside the castle is also open only on Friday, Saturday, Sunday, but this is a secret that can only be found inside the castle itself.
