It's a wonderful place that I definitely recommend visiting. The price is not cheap, but it is worth it. Of course, there are long queues in spring and summer, so be sure to take your passports, as they leave them as collateral or ask for money as collateral. I advise you to come in the morning, there is a very large area where you can walk all day.

Very inspiring. So many interesting things. To visit such a place with such a history is great! But I was very upset by the local audio guide, which is included in the ticket price. There was no QR code for more than half of the rooms (rooms), and therefore you do not know which number to dial on the device to eavesdrop on the desired audio.

Topkapi Palace is beautiful, large-scale, magnificent. Walking through the corridors and rooms is a pleasure. Fans of the Magnificent Century series will especially like it. The staff is polite. Security is responsive and will help with any question.

A good place to explore Turkey! For tourists, I recommend coming to the opening at the ticket office and there is no queue at the entrance. We were on Saturday, 11/16/24. They passed freely. At 13:00 in the afternoon, there were already very long queues. The entrance is not cheap 1700 Turkish lira, they paid with a card and wrote off 5400 rubles of the Russian Federation!

It is worth visiting as a historical place once. I wouldn't go a second time.…It's expensive (2000 liras, at the time of the visit ~ 4500₽, the audio guide is mediocre - if you want an interesting story with exciting stories, pay for a guide. For the audio guide, you need to leave your passport or driver's license as a deposit. The territory is beautiful and well maintained

We were with my husband in February, it was very cold in the palace, but I liked the tour. We visited historical sites and museums. A huge territory. The cost is 2000 lire, or approximately 5000 rubles.

I was not impressed, there were huge queues for tickets (for such a price, we could put umbrellas so that it would not be so hot to wait). The palace itself is not impressed, it is quite monotonous. At the end there is only a beautiful fountain and walls. It's not worth it for such a price (1,500 lire per person).

It's amazing from the outside, inside there are just showcases with various exhibits, it's a pity that the atmosphere of the palace itself is not reproduced at least approximately. The tickets are super expensive, and they also ask for a passport as a deposit for the audio guide.

Topcaps. This is the heart of Istanbul. Every tourist who has visited Istanbul at least once should definitely visit here. This is a historical place. A great and powerful sultan lived here. The famous TV series "Magnificent Century" was filmed here. Inside Topkapi there is a mysterious harem, the same one where Hurrem (Alexandra) lived, a mysterious harem with a centuries-old history.

Top museum. It's worth a visit. Plan the whole day at once, because there is something to see there. My wife took me because they were filming something there, but I would have gone a second time myself.

The beauty of the East) Ornaments, columns, carvings, garden. Jewelry on weapons, helmets, sultan gloves. Magnificent view of the Bosphorus from the terraces. Victory pavilions and a mysterious harem. With a huge number of rooms, passages, nooks and crannies and, in my opinion, without a single tree. But there are plenty of them in the decorations of the state halls. Tickets, my friends, we took for 1,500 lira (4,500 re) - the palace itself, the cathedral of Irina, the harem. We took an audio guide (for free). He's not much use, just a couple of sentences. It is not very convenient to use.So we were guided by English inscriptions. I finished reading about the harem on the Internet in the evening))

It is especially interesting for those who watched the TV series "Magnificent Century". Entrance fees are expensive, of course. An audio guide is enough for two people. It's worth visiting once for show, we wouldn't go a second time.

Entrance to the Topcaps 1500 lire - general overview + harem. The territory is very beautiful, exhibitions with decorations, dishes, weapons have been made. The views of the Bosphorus from the balconies are charming, the ornaments, tiles, and paintings in the buildings are very beautiful. It is necessary to lay 3-4 hours for inspection. The audio guide is free, all the musical notes are translated into Russian. There are crowds on Saturday and Sunday, you need to go on Monday, he has to work, fewer people. The entrance to the attractions is paid only in lira. Take care of the exchange earlier

The place is wonderful and beautiful, but the ticket price is the most unpleasant thing. 6 thousand rubles per person. The "advantage" is that the museum provides an audio guide for free, which leaves much to be desired. First of all, in many places the recording starts in Turkish instead of Russian. Secondly, the guide is not very informative. Thirdly, in many places there are no numbers at all, allowing you to understand which entry to include.

A beautiful and interesting place, if you go with a guide, you will pass without waiting in line... And so there are very long queues to get inside, however, as well as to all historical places, so plan ahead, you won't get through everything in a couple of hours, take food and water with you. And keep in mind that there are museums inside the palace where you need additional rest

The entrance ticket to the harem is very expensive+Top caps + Aya Irina costs 1,700 liras (October 2024) In fact, it's like our Kremlin, only 5 times more expensive. If you are not fans of Turkish TV series, then there is no point in going. There are a lot of people, nothing is clear. We took an audio guide (for free, but a passport or 100 bucks as a deposit), but the audio guide told half of the halls in Turkish. And in general, there were difficulties with him. So if you want to look, go ahead. There is nothing to do there for general development.

I've been dreaming of coming here for 12 years! Since I'm a fan of the series (it's clear which one)))) I was sooo interested! I will not retell the historical facts - those who are interested will see for themselves. I will say about the benefits: the first and most important thing is that there is a public toilet on the territory of the palace! I was in the museum for 4 hours, but in good weather you can go for the whole day. There are benches where you can relax and have a snack (you can take it with you or buy it, but the price, you know, will be for tourists ...) Russian Russian audio guide - they gave out a smartphone as a pledge of a passport, but he did not tell some rooms in Russian. You can download the application, everything is in Russian. Of the disadvantages, the ticket price is cosmic, in terms of rubles, the ticket came out over 5,500 (with a harem). There's nowhere to charge your phone!!! The harem is not completely open.

Very expensive tickets in the first place, the only interesting and rare items are trophies and weapons, and a lot of porcelain. The audio guide is about nothing, the sultan's harem is very faded. A lot of things are under restoration. I repeat, the ticket price is more expensive than in the Louvre and the Hermitage combined.

A very beautiful, interesting place, definitely worth a visit. The territory is large, you can walk for a long time, including take a snack and be sure to have water. By the way, St. Irene's Cathedral is located on the territory of the complex and its visit is included in the price. A stunning place, makes a strong impression, a sense of eternity, a piece of ancient Rome, especially after the splendor and wealth of the palace.

It's a beautiful place, for 2024 the entrance to the museum is +-50$, but it's worth it. It is very beautiful inside, there are many places to walk. It is better not to take an excursion, but to go yourself, because there are not particularly queues (and individual guides are afraid of them), and it takes a lot of time to see everything. It takes about five hours in total. But we must remember that the palace is open until 3-4 days, because there is no electricity and only daylight. It's a cool place, I highly recommend it

Clearly an overrated attraction. They paid 1,700 liras for a visit in October 2024. Most of the exposition is ordinary objects, you can look at a million cups and spoons, but almost nowhere will you be shown the interiors, the harem is entirely empty rooms. The information in the audio guide is very scarce and not interesting for such money, and the badges with numbers are not everywhere, I found out about some of them only by accidentally finding a map of the palace on the Internet.

5100 for visiting the palace and numerous queues in each room.. Everyone can choose on their own whether to go or not.. In my opinion, you can not visit, instead you can go to Beylerbey, the cost is 1200 rubles, although in November the exterior facade is hidden, under restoration, but inside you can also get acquainted with the decoration of the palace.

A unique piece of architecture! Greatness is fascinating. However, there are disadvantages: in the audio guide, the explanation is not always given in the language in which the guide was taken. So half of my information was in Polish, I think. There are no other disadvantages, except for the huge crowd)

I didn't like it, there weren't any life factors at all, solid supplies and a couple of thrones, I can't believe that such a white "castle" was empty, plus I didn't really like that not everything was opened for 6k rubles per person, in general, I don't even know whether to advise or not, then specifically we didn't go, yes, beautiful interior, but nothing more, just cold corridors and nothing interesting.

Definitely need to see. A big plus is that when you buy a ticket, they give you an audio guide. Not necessarily a tour guide, a group. I was walking alone, and the audio guide told me everything I needed. The nuance is only the lira. The nearest exchanger is on Sultanahmet, which, in principle, is not far on foot.

"The Magnificent Century" is a popular Turkish TV series, filming of historical scenes took place in the palace of Sultan Suleiman the Magnificent, which is now called Topkapi or cannon Gate. I enjoyed looking at the antique weapons encrusted with precious stones. Orders of the Ottoman Empire and gifts from envoys of other states, including the Russian state. There are 4 courtyards on the territory of the palace park. Each one has unique trees, the age is measured in hundreds of years. When we went to Hagia Sophia the day before, I was very sorry that I did not take the audio guide. And on the way to Topkapi I reminded my wife to buy it. It turned out that there is an audio guide in the Sultan's Palace, but it is very strange. You make the payment, leave your passport as a deposit and receive a small box. She's not wearing headphones. And in one of the pavilions, your Russian audio guide independently changes the language to Serbian. And then - back. It happened several times and not only for me. So I recommend that you think before buying this service. It is better to allocate a whole day to inspect the entire Topkapi. Take into account its huge territory, the queue at the entrance and security checkpoints.

The price is definitely too high. Of course, you can watch it once, but if you have somewhere to spend 2,400 lire, then you don't have to go. It's interesting, of course, that's for sure. But not wow. You have to pay another 900 lire to view the harem. In fact, the palace will cost you 3,300 lire. It's really expensive for this place. Just so you know, for the locals, 400 lire for everything, including the harem. Of course, I understand that in our country it is also more expensive for foreigners. But here the price is inadequately inflated.

An interesting place - there is where to walk and what to see. The entrance ticket is quite expensive (more than 2 thousand liras). Historical buildings, a well-kept garden, a beautiful view of Istanbul - gradually you get into the spirit of the past era, when court intrigues reigned within these walls. There is a museum of calligraphy. It's unclear how they made all these beautiful pages - just jewelry work. The time for the tour is two hours.
