The queue was half a kilometer, literally, in 3 rows, so it was decided not to go there. If you want to visit the sights of Istanbul, it is better to fly in February.😁

It's a very beautiful place. Especially those who watched the Magnificent Century series will like it. It is very surprising that such places have still been preserved, even though there was a renovation.

Entrance fee is 55$. The sultans knew how to live, and the Turks know how to make money from tourists. Topkapi Palace For 400 years, this palace complex was the residence of the Ottoman sultans, and it houses imperial treasures and relics. But, of course, I was most interested in the harem.

Of course, history and so on is good. But we would all mostly like moments from a magnificent century. The chambers of Hurrem and Sultan are closed to the public. There is no furniture anywhere. At least the props would have been left out of the series. There's nothing to watch on the show. You walk for 3-4 hours without doing anything and look at the walls and ceiling. That's it, as it were. There is nothing to do here for fans of the series.

It is better to visit the palace complex with a guide, the audio guide gives information very dryly (the audio guide is issued on the security of a passport or driver's license). If you come to the opening (9.00), you will not have to stand in line for tickets. You can also take a walk around the deserted complex. Tourist groups and independent tourists come en masse by 11 o'clock. Be sure to check out Harem (you can start the tour with it). The church of Ayia Irina can be visited at the end of the tour, you will not be able to stay there for long.

The visit is included in the Istanbul museum map. Many rooms were not entered (the Sultan's chambers are among them). It is quite cool in the rooms and the whole way the question was, how did they not freeze?, in halls and rooms made of stone and tiles.. In general, it is informative - the life of men and women in the era of the sultanate, which may have been magnificent, but rather creepy for the latter (to be limited in movement, to wait for days for someone, something). Make your conclusion)

It was incredibly interesting to plunge into the atmosphere of the Ottoman Empire. He especially responds after watching the TV series "The Magnificent Century". The ticket is expensive, fifteen hundred lire for adult visitors. We went with the children. Gorgeous views of the Bosphorus.

The ticket is 650 liras/person (summer 2023). Complex of palace buildings, harem, St. Irene. It does not meet expectations, but if you have time and do not mind the money (especially with your family), then it's worth going. Cash desks after the passage of metal detectors, on the left - at the St. Irina, or on the right in front of the second gate. If there are no people by the opening, it is comfortable to walk, it is better to leave St. Irina at the end of the visit. The second entrance / exit to the territory is from the side of the archaeological museum, which is exactly where you should definitely go. Well, if you are an economical "caretaker" of attractions, do not forget about the Istanbul pass and the museum map. Ask for an audio guide when buying a ticket.

I dreamed of definitely visiting here, touching at least a little bit of history. And now it has happened! The cost of visiting the palace is 950 Turkish lira, this includes the cost of an audio guide. A visit to the harem is not included in the price. If possible, I advise you to go.

DON'T TAKE THE AUDIO GUIDE, it's full of bullshit, the huge price for a crowd of tourists, there's nothing special here, there's the Dolmabahce palace, the museum of Islamic art in the Chamlidj mosque, which are much better, cheaper and less crowded with tourists. I do not recommend this popular tourist destination.

It's a wonderful place. It's nice to touch the story. The sensational TV series "Magnificent Century" was not filmed here, they built the same scenery. The entrance for foreigners is 1,500 lire (for locals 250 lire), it includes the Topkapi Palace, the Harem and the former St. Peter's Church.Irina. Expect to spend 3-4 hours on a visit.

It is only worth visiting because of the view that opens onto the strait. The audio guide does not provide valuable information, short and clear, "this building is such and such, it was built then and then." Muslims should visit because of the Islamic relics of Muhammad, Ibrahim, Yahya, where the queue is very long. The ticket price is not justified, there is almost nothing to see in the rest of the premises (luxury kitchen utensils, watches and gifts to the Sultan in the form of weapons), the audio guide does not tell anything. Many rooms are in the process of being restored and closed. 500 tour.lira *5 rubles = 2500 for nothing . There are long queues everywhere , but THERE ARE BEAUTIFUL PLACES for photos. We joined groups with Russian-speaking guides , they also in most cases did not give accurate information , all according to assumptions and hypotheses. Check the box that you were there - you need to go.

A dream come true! Sultan Suleiman's Palace. The price of course for May 2024 bites. 1,500 lire per person (multiplied by 3) is a single ticket. You cannot buy visits to different rooms separately. But it's worth it. I recommend you to visit at least once in your life! But you need to have 3+ hours left

The first thing that catches your eye... This is the ticket price🎫 They may have confused Switzerland and Turkey in this particular place. The palace itself certainly deserves attention and admiration. In some places, if you dream up, you can get great pleasure from visiting. A place for culture, history, photo and video shooting. But there is always a consumer attitude and a huge number of people. Such places always leave an ambivalent and ambiguous opinion. It is worth visiting once in a lifetime, and the second time... You can buy for money, from the ticket price 🎫, a sea flight to Antalya✈

You can get around all THIS in one day, but if you come for 3-4 days or are not in a hurry, there is only so much that by the end of the hike your legs just fell off! Everything is interesting here, just come and see, soak up the spirit of the empire!

It's expensive, 1500 rubles for guests is too much. Of course, it is interesting to visit with a guide, go through the guide without queuing, but all this is available to holders of visa and master cards abroad. And that means we carry cash (1500 rubles) to the cashier. From 9-10 is the optimal time, buses with groups are still on the way and you can have time to buy a ticket at the ticket office without queues. Next, a free audio guide turns out to be a pledge according to the passport (whoever warned about this in advance (besides, the audio guide for rent is an Android phone with downloaded audio tracks that are convenient to listen to with headphones - not a word about it)). The staff also helps to install an alternative mobile application on your phone and activate the QR audio guide from the ticket. Only then does a new problem begin - the connection inside the museum (lte or WiFi) is only at the gate, and the tracks swing for a long time. And if the connection is broken, the audio track either did not download, or was duplicated into the phone. There is no indoor connection. There is no WiFi coverage for 1500l. In addition, some audio tracks for the menu in Russian play Polish content (apparently, it looks like one fig to the developers). The narrator himself is not interesting. Information for 1500l is scarce. The numbers of the records (exhibits) inside the desired objects are not visible and are not explicitly marked. Queues: if you are a cunning foreigner with a visa card or a master and walked past the queue to enter with a free pass, then inside you will still be queuing for the necessary exhibits due to poor logistics in building an incoming inspection (visitors move chaotically from object to object inside the museum and create queues). Of course, the place is beautiful, significant, but the organization for 1500 rubles from the nose is disgusting. Our advice: buy a good Russian-speaking guide (not all the guides inside told their groups in Russian interestingly) or, at worst, take a free audio guide in exchange for a passport with headphones (and get ready to look for numbers on the right exhibits and listen to Polish in the tracks).

We visited the palace in the morning, at about 9:30. The queue was not very big, we stood in it for 15 minutes. It is a pity that the audio guide needs to be taken elsewhere, there was a queue for 40 minutes, we did not stand, we went straight to the palace territory. I get 1 star for this." I don't know why people write negative reviews about this place, maybe they are in a bad mood." Every time you visit historical sites, I recommend that you familiarize yourself with the history of the place in advance so that you can navigate more inside and not get lost. The palace itself impressed, we had a nice time, it was interesting to visit the rooms of the palace and the harem. I also want to note that when visiting all the attractions in the morning, there are few people compared to the afternoon or evening. Consider this. Buses with tourists arrive in large numbers during the day.

With a ticket for 1,500 lira, you can visit: Topkapi Palace, harem and St. Irene's Church. In the palace museum you can see many exhibits, there is a footprint of Muhammad, jewelry, weapons, clothes of that time. I do not rate it highly, because: 1. the cost of 1500 liras is, in my opinion, significantly overestimated. For local residents, the price is much cheaper. 2. There is a free audio guide on site, but there is no free WiFi and this is for such an expensive ticket price. In many places, it is not possible to listen to the audio guide, because the Internet from local mobile operators does not work stably.communications. 3. The legacy of Byzantium is poorly monitored. There is a lot of garbage, there is no restoration.

It's a very beautiful palace, awesome territory, but there's not much to see. We expected more. We spent 200 euros on four of them, and to be honest, I won't even go there for free anymore. The Magnificent Century TV series is to blame for everything, watch it and give everyone a harem, a Khurem. Actually, the Turks are great, that's the way it should be, but Istanbul is clean and tidy.

It is definitely worth visiting, the place is iconic and epic. We were in August, the ticket cost 1500 rubles / check for an adult (about 5 rubles), a 10-year-old child, in my opinion 250 rubles (with a child's ticket up to 8 years old, it seems, and with a birth certificate, but somehow we were lucky, apparently the cashier got such a one). The queue is large, but only at first glance: there are a lot of ticket offices and they move quickly, they passed in just 5 minutes. But further, closer to the entrance, the queue for a free guide (a simple smartphone without headphones) already lasted 20-30 minutes. You can get it in exchange for a passport / 100 $ or € / 2000lir, I gave different money)) When you leave the complex, first there is a separate window to exchange back, quickly. The complex itself is large, there are many objects, it is interesting to get around with breaks of about 2.5-3 hours. There are no cafes, there is nowhere to eat and buy water too, so do not forget to take it with you. Well, they don't need to be here. It's probably better to come in the morning, we arrived at 12.00, there were already a lot of people, and when we left it became even more, apparently the peak, when everyone comes, is lunchtime. I took off the star for the price, now it seems to have grown even more, well, where to look at whales ... but the audio guide will not give complete information (at first it still has some kind, but then, more than half of the objects, there was no information or in another language and we just walked and stared). And you have to go here either with a guide or as part of an excursion, then I'm sure it will be much more interesting and informative, but it's even more expensive…

The palace is magnificent, there are no words, but first you have to stand in line for tickets for more than an hour. Ticket prices are horse-drawn.... at the rate of more than $ 35. For the ticket. Then stand in line for each exhibition. If God forbid, you are thirsty, you can buy water for $ 4!! If you don't want to be one of the 5000m. As a visitor, I'm not exaggerating, come at 9.00, just later it's tin from the human sea
