A beautiful strong place. We took an audio guide, but it really takes 2 days to get around everything.

A very interesting museum of archeology. Sculptures, coins, and jewelry dating back to the 5th-6th century BC are on display. All exhibits have descriptions in both Turkish and English.

Contrary to the guidebooks, this is not a must-visit place at all. As a palace, it is very modest and uninteresting, as the museum is also not marked by anything interesting. It's a shame that in a fit of greed, the church of St. Irene was placed behind the fence (under tickets) (it used to be freely available). It's really interesting.

The price for tourists is overstated by as much as 6(!!!!) the entrance fee is 1500 rubles (about $ 50), while for locals it is only 250 rubles. I have never seen such lawlessness anywhere. Disgusting and boorish attitude of the staff. After we passed the ticket turnstiles, one of the three of us lost the ticket. After that, one person was simply not allowed into the harem, although he was included in the price on this ticket. I don't see the logic in this, because we passed the turnstile with a ticket. Obviously, we couldn't go in without paying. The frustration of spending a fairly large amount and such a rude attitude of the staff. I can notice the palace itself and the territory are beautiful, but the organization, price and attitude of tourists are disgusting. I'm unlikely to go a second time or recommend it to someone.

An interesting large museum in Istanbul. You can see the history of costumes, the treasury, temples, libraries and the Sultan's harem). If you plan to visit, then this place will take half a day for sure.

A beautiful, historical place. Important rooms such as the Sultan's bedroom and the Hurrem are not shown. The ticket is expensive. The audio guide is not for all expositions

This place is a must-visit, definitely. Keep in mind that navigation is not very clear, go everywhere and get a ticket to all parts of the complex. Very nice view of the city. You can also just sit in the park and enjoy the atmosphere.

You can visit once, but there's no real excitement. The entrance fee is 2400 lire. For an 11-year-old child, the ticket cost 360 lira, which was nice. Otherwise, there are a lot of people, queues, but it will go for show.

It's a great and very beautiful place, there are a lot of interesting things, but to fully immerse yourself in the history of this place, you need a good and knowledgeable guide, without him the story will not be complete.

It's a terrible place for that kind of money. Even his story didn't save him. There are many empty rooms. Unfortunately, the harem was not impressed. We won't go there a second time((

A very beautiful huge palace, there is a lot to see. I took an audio guide, it was quite convenient, because I was traveling alone. The only negative is the price, it's in euros, and because of the exchange rate, it can bite(

Walk only with a good guide. Come to the opening. Children under 13 years old receive a 90% discount on admission, documents are requested, photos are available. Now many pavilions in the garden are open, the tour is becoming more extensive.

Being a fan of the TV series "Magnificent Century", I naturally dreamed of getting into the Top Cape Palace. And my dream came true) The palace is luxurious and beautiful! Part of the premises is reserved for museum exhibits of objects belonging to the Ottoman dynasty. The garden is beautiful and well maintained. The balconies offer magnificent views of the Bosphorus. The interior of the palace is a work of art! It is necessary to take at least 3 hours for the examination. The only thing is that the crowds of tourists scurrying back and forth prevented them from completely immersing themselves in the atmosphere and imagining how they lived in the palace under Suleiman the Magnificent)).

A place that must be visited while in Istanbul. If you decide to buy a "Museum Map" in order not to stand in line, you can buy it at the Museum of Archaeology, which is located here just below in the direction of Gulhane Park. There are no queues. And yes, if you decide to use the audio guide, do not forget to take any documents with you (for example, rights). You will have to leave them as collateral.

I thought it would be great. But, it's great for once. It's expensive - 2,400 lire per person. You can take an audio guide as a passport deposit. The information is quite accessible from the audio guide. There is a view of the Bosphorus. Gorgeous))) Of course, everyone wants to visit the Harem. But, a lot is closed for restoration. Interesting, but again, as I said above.. just for once. An exhibition of collectible watches opened at the exit. It's not really visible. But when you leave the park, come in to take a look. The exhibition is open for only 4 days.

Topkapi palace means a great splendor to me, the view of the sultans who have lived the history of time, the place where the sultans lived, there is a lot to say, but I leave it like this, it is not possible to write, it is necessary to go and spend a lot of time and live those moments and memories

The worst place I've been! The price is simply space ! They divide people into local and guest. And the ticket price is 5 times more . And there's nothing like WOW, it's a stupid museum where they DIDN'T SHOOT a MAGNIFICENT CENTURY , and everyone runs there thinking the opposite. I don 't recommend giving away 5 thousand for this !

It's a good big museum, which you have to come to for the opening at 9, because it will be released only by the closing at 17. There are audio guides with collateral, places where you can sit down and relax, toilets. However, the big disadvantage is the cost of 1,500 lira (≈50$ at the time of writing) for tourists, when the entrance for locals is 250. The evidence of an aggressive pricing policy towards tourists is sad, although it is not something surprising.

You can buy a ticket at the entrance, after inspection in 1 yard.It is better to take a comprehensive one to visit everything. You can also get an audio guide there. After entering the 2nd courtyard, you can visit the Church of Irina on the left side, then a Sofa, a harem, numerous pavilions, a reliquarium, a kitchen, an exhibition of porcelain and tableware. The treasury has not been restored for several years. New rooms are gradually being added to the harem. It is better to come in the morning to visit, it works from 9 o'clock. Huge queues are built in during the day and the waiting time for entry can take more than 1-2 hours. During the visit, you will see how the Turkish sultans lived in the 15th and 18th centuries. This is one of the familiar places of Istanbul.

It's not worth the money, they paid about 4,700 rubles for admission in September 2025, which is very expensive. Fans of the magnificent century will definitely be very disappointed. The main and most parts of the palace are hidden from the eyes of visitors.

A must-visit place when traveling to Istanbul, a very convenient audio guide. The best ones should be planned for the first half of the day, as much earlier, since there are a lot of people from lunch and queues are possible when visiting museums and exhibitions. I recommend it, get a good impression.

I'll put 4 only for overpriced prices — 60 euros. And you won't be able to save money — this is the minimum price, which includes the Topkapi Palace, the Harem and the temple. There are a lot of rooms, everything is open until 18:30, they start kicking out at 18:00. We started at 12:00 and didn't have time to see the full harem. Come in the morning. And take food and water with you, at least buy simits in front of the entrance, otherwise there's only a super-expensive cafe inside. The audio guide is provided on the basis of a passport or ID, or you can download the application to your phone, but you need the Internet to work.

With a ticket price of 5,000 rubles per person, there are catastrophically few exhibits worth paying attention to. We took an audio guide, deciding that it would be enough - it's not. It was interesting to see the harem, the treasure collections, and perhaps everything. A child who was calmly walking around the Hermitage and was interested was howling with boredom. I hope this review will help save someone time and money.

Those who are used to the format of the German-Russian-French palace will find something completely different. There are a lot of buildings, different, unrelated, but at the same time their commonality is, of course, more convenient than European ones. Just put in more time and effort to visit, you should not come there by 17 o'clock, you will not have time to do anything.

I went there and fell in love at first sight. A must-visit, although very expensive. I was on August 23, the queues are certainly large for tickets and an audio guide (for free when buying a ticket with a harem), a harem is 40 percent beauty, so don't spare the money, go! It's nice to immerse yourself in Ottoman history! Those who watched the magnificent century in triplets are more interesting and exciting. To see their gardens, numerous rooms, balconies, courtyards is wonderful! Even the crowds of people and queues at some rooms and museums did not spoil the experience! I definitely recommend it!

Tickets, like everywhere else in Istanbul, are quite expensive. Translated into rubles, without visiting the harem, it turned out to be about 2000 rubles per person. We visited the harem for an additional 1,100₽ without a harem, but now I regret it. An audio guide is provided at the entrance. It is in Russian and without payment, but you need to leave some kind of document as a deposit. The territory is quite large, there is something to see. For an inspection of at least 4 hours. In addition to Palaces, buildings and internal expositions, the terrace offers a magnificent view of the Bosphorus and the Golden Horn Bay. The place is definitely worth a visit.

The price bites hard - 2000 lire per person, where the price includes an audio guide (you must leave your passport to use it) I'll rate the location at 3 out of 5 because something bigger and more secret was expected (the Sultan's room, etc.), but in fact we got corridors, kitchens and hammams with toilets. Yes, some reception rooms and a library are available for the show....but in the Sultan's largest castle, I would like to see his rooms, which would show the life of the ruler. I was impressed (and appreciated) by the significant and rich items and decorations. There is a staff of Moses, a footprint of Muhammad, an exhibition of luxurious kitchen utensils, vases, clothes, shoes, very chic women's jewelry - that's what impressed
