The hotel is located across the street from Ayia Park, which attracted us since we were with children. The large indoor pool and spa are gorgeous. I've been going there for 20 years. There is no better place to swim with children in either Almaty or Astana. It is periodically repaired, painted, new plants are planted, etc. In general, its design has not changed just these 20 years. And we like this design (with huge palm trees, bridges, a river ...) I really like it. But! When we stayed at the hotel in August, we were extremely disappointed with the rooms. They're in a terrible state. The electrical part, the ventilation is breathing heavily. What should be blowing is not blowing. And if it blows, then with such a noise that we couldn't sleep, and moved to another room. Updated rooms for some reason! from the side of Rahat Towers. And there's a soooo sad look. The rooms on the park side are old. The breakfasts were meager. A 2-year-old child had nothing to eat. And on the third day, we didn't want to eat there either. The staff is polite and diligent. This is a big plus.
I personally really like the look of the lobby. This is a huge shanyrak. Such energy! There are a lot of plants and a river with pebbles in the lobby. The kid was delighted.
In general, it is clear that the owner is not up to the hotel. He (they) do not want to invest money there. It's like they're selling a hotel.

I didn't like the service at this hotel. I asked for scissors at the reception they couldn't find and were very rude. I asked the hotel manager to make a remark to this girl who works at the reception. They weren't invited. She was very rude to me and called herself a manager. I do not recommend this hotel. And I'm not going there anymore. I'll call you tomorrow Monday and hopefully get through to the manager. Let them reprimand you

A friend chose the hotel, 5 stars, but I do not agree. I can compare it with Russia. The plumbing is weak, the rooms are already old, the reception is friendly. There is always water in the room, and shampoos are refreshing. For some reason, I was not impressed with the breakfasts, I was waiting for more.

This is the level of a 2 star hotel. We booked a semi-suite. The room stinks of cigarettes, the wallpaper is stripped, the floor is stained with grease, the table is scratched, the chairs are full of holes and stained. And this is a junior suite, Carl! We asked to change the room, we were given a second one exactly the same, only without the smell of cigarettes. They further confirmed that all their rooms are in this condition. Although all the sites have decent photos. We asked for a refund, they returned it, but they didn't even apologize.

The hotel is certainly legendary. It requires repair, but for its price it is an excellent option.
There is a SPA with a nice pool with convenient access to the water for children.

The old room stock. I didn't want a dirty room. The customer service offered a free upgrade. The breakfasts are so-so. I didn't even go to the gym. If the numbers are like that. Therefore, I put 4 * in the hope that the administration will take care of the hotel. The location is wonderful.

Nice hotel, but not great. Stunning lobby and public area, cool pool. But there are questions about the service. Sometimes they carry something for a very long time, they do not update the dishes at breakfast. Well, the rooms have not been renovated for a long time. Therefore, 4 out of 5.

The hotel looks decent inside, but requires renovation.

It looks cool, but the little things in the room show that the hotel was cool 20 years ago. Then the faucet leaks, then it turns out that the outlet in the room is powered by a light switch in the hallway, then that the refrigerator works only when there is someone in the room, and without a card it is de-energized... The gym and saunas are from 10 to 22, which is also inconvenient - neither go to the gym in the morning before work, nor relax in the evening - you have to hurry, otherwise they will close soon... These seem to be small things, but they are what create the impression.
