Vacationed with a friend in this hotel in mid-April 2023. The room was on the second floor and overlooked the summer veranda. It was very noisy, the music was always playing loudly. When asked to change the room, since it is not comfortable for us, we cannot relax when loud music and guests are resting on the summer veranda until the morning, our request was refused. Also, the sound insulation between the rooms leaves much to be desired - it feels like it doesn't exist at all, you can hear everything that is being said in the next room. So it's hard to call our vacation a vacation. We will never choose this hotel for our holidays anymore.

A very ambiguous place. Exterior gloss - beautiful doors, reception. Great breakfast. The rooms are mega tired - the furniture in the bathroom is just like from a dumpster, all stratified. Dirty carpets. Old pillows and a terrible bed, no one got enough sleep at night(( The micro pool is small, icy and dirty, there is simply no one who wants to swim there. It's a long way to the beach. When checking out, they check the number for 10 minutes, I haven't seen such a Soviet practice for a long time.

There was once a normal hotel. Now it has turned into a garbage can. How the staff can make a disgusting attitude towards the hotel. The girls at the reception do not greet, look haughtily, click on some requests and respond with dissatisfaction. I have never seen such a disgusting attitude towards guests in any hotel in the world. Breakfast is a separate hell. They start at 8 in the morning and it is impossible to approach the small table where the food is because of the crowd of people. Well, you can eat them half an hour earlier. People are unhappy. I give the hotel minus one star. And teach the staff how to communicate with customers.

We stayed at the hotel at the end of September 2021. Upon check-in, we were greeted with a glass of wine. The rooms are clean, the interior is very impressive. The food is at the highest level. All the staff are friendly and attentive. I recommend it for recreation. The only thing I do not recommend booking a transfer. This hotel works with a company that transfers transfer requests. A Mercedes from the 90s came for us. The driver was nervous, the cabin smelled of exhaust fumes, the car was in terrible condition. And for this "comfort" we paid 3,800. The driver could not find the location of our hotel using the navigator, after which he began to bang his phone on the steering wheel and swear obscenely. So check with the transport company that the hotel works with, which car will be provided to you for the transfer.

Great hotel: soooo cozy, warm, soft clean linen, carpets on the floor!! The most satisfying and plentiful buffet! 5 min. to the market, if anyone needs it. It's not worth going to the coast, it's still a long way to go, but we had a March hiking and sightseeing "mimosa" tour from Valera Belogurov, and we didn't care about the location. Moreover, in March, the prices for a hotel of this level are sooo low!! There is a small swimming pool. The rooms are spacious and cozy, there is a kettle and tea/coffee bags, a refrigerator, a hairdryer. The staff is friendly, very nice! On the 5th floor (we had #512), the air conditioners from the 6th floor were banging terribly noisily, it's just unreal!! But at our request, something was "done" with them, turned off, apparently, and the full buzz has already come!!

We lived in an ordinary double room, but the three of us, and three adults, and so, of course, it was a little cramped for us, and the folding chair was especially disappointing, for an adult it is not suitable for sleeping. The room itself is nice, everything is new, clean, there is a kettle, glasses, refrigerator, TV and even beach towels. We cleaned every day and well. We had breakfast and dinner included, the food was very good and delicious

We were with our family (4 people) in late May - early June for 22 years. We really liked literally everything - from the location (it's a little far from the sea, but we knew about it in advance) to the rooms. The hotel is not big, but very pleasant, the rooms are clean, cleaned every day. Buffet breakfasts and dinners. Vegetable, cheese, sausage cuts, olives, pickles, 1-2 salads, hot and side dishes of 2 types, cereals, muesli, dried fruits, pastries, fruits and berries, jam, honey, tea and coffee, juice, water, milk (warm and cold), yogurt. Everything is delicious, fresh, hot - they are cooked not for the future, but every time. The hotel staff is excellent. Svetlana (as far as we understood, the head of the kitchen) is a great woman and a professional - her girls are always smiling, clean everything at once, polite. The girls at the reception (we especially liked Alyona) are very nice, smiling, they will tell you everything (from questions about the number to how to get to the market, for example). The rooms themselves are spacious, cleaned every day, balconies in each room, excellent beds, comfortable mattresses, warm blankets. The rooms have a safe (very small, the MacBook did not fit, but small things like a passport, wallet and keys will fit), a refrigerator and a TV. All the staff is responsive, they smile not because they need to, but because they want to. We will definitely come back and advise our friends - we liked it here)

The rooms are not bad, very friendly staff, located in the city center, 15 minutes to the embankment, 150 rubles by taxi. After cleaning, one day was not cleaned, although we were not in the room all day, the bed is changed every 3 days; food: a small table, they try to diversify, for me personally it was killer that coriander was added everywhere: to cutlets, to all salads and hot, I just don't like it. The pool is small, the child did not get out, we did not swim. In general, the impression is very positive, they try to do their best for your comfort.

A 5-star hotel with some reservations 1. Rooms ,service,meals -5 2. Price -I would like it to be cheaper (breakfast,dinner,transfer Sochi-Sukhum, flight (St. Petersburg-Sochi and back) 14 thousand per night. -its own territory is tiny (an indoor track on the street for several tables and a small swimming pool, 5 meters). The hotel itself is not very big. This differs from 5 stars for example in Crete. Well, there is no beach yet. Otherwise, 5 stars 3. But there are probably no more hotels of this level in Sukhumi. So for those who appreciate comfort and service, come here. Conveniently located. 10 minutes to the beach and the same to the central market. I got there myself due to the lack of alternatives on the day of departure. You can say by accident. The cost is certainly not small. But the hotel is an order of magnitude higher in class of all the options considered. I think it's worth the money due to the lack of equivalent competitors.

In August 2023, we had a vacation in Abkhazia, the first week in Gagra, the second was planned in Sukhumi at the Garuda hotel. In Gagra, a child fell ill with a rotovirus infection and we had to return to Russia. Despite the booking conditions, the hotel management refunded the prepayment in full. Decent people, probably everything is fine in the hotel.
