We had a family vacation.... In terms of the hotel, one of the advantages is that the hotel is new , clean and bright ...The staff is excellent. One of the disadvantages is that the food is sometimes not tasty, and sometimes tasteless , you can hardly wait for the elevator, we walked to the 12th floor on foot. Of the 2 workers, 1 was constantly in service. It is very dangerous to go to the beach at night , local residents sometimes behave inappropriately , security on the territory does not react outside the hotel , even if the conflict is 5 meters from the entrance.There are a lot of inadequate and drunk young guys who are bullied by idleness ... Not a vacation , but the devil knows what !!!!! Before that, we had a rest in staraya Gagra , a completely different attitude from the locals both during the day and at night !!!We were very sorry and were not satisfied with the trip !!!!!

Yeah... After reading the reviews here, as well as relaxing at the hotel in July 2024, I leave the most honest review here. The hotel is super, clean, freshly renovated, air conditioning, TV, refrigerator in the room, we lived on the 7th floor with a wonderful view of the mountains. They write the truth about elevators, there really is a queue, especially during rush hour, but we walked, we let our legs down for one thing... The room was cleaned daily, the bed was changed on the 4th day. Now about food, there are plenty to choose from, but everything is monotonous, the most important thing is the hotel guests themselves, seriously guys, they take several full trays and eat what they didn't eat, either threw them away, or took them into bags and bags with them, but how is this at all? How the word came from a hungry land. In addition, in the lobby bar from morning to evening, they just ate up all the stocks of beer, wine, chacha, this is some trash. They eat, drink, vomit, and so on throughout the rest. The beer in the bar is so-so, for an amateur... Now about the sea, clean, warm, there are not enough sunbeds on the beach, but wait a little and they are released. As you go out to the beach, there is a bar on the left, the owner of Alaska, by the way, I strongly advise you to go on excursions with him, he will take you everywhere, tell you everything, take cash with you, it is more convenient. We went to wine, meat, cheese tastings, maiden's tears waterfall, glass bridge, Ritsa Lake, milk waterfall and Stalin's dacha. Summing up, what can I say? Hotel 5iz 5, food 3iz 5, mountains, sea, excursions 5iz 5. There is nothing to add, Abkhazia, it was worth it... Will we come again? Of course, not to this hotel....

We were at the Rossiya Hotel in September 2024, if it hadn't been for the tickets we had booked for Moscow, we would have left for 3 days. Everything is terrible. The linen is changed after 6 days, although immediately we all got sick with rotovirus with fever. They asked me to change my underwear after lying down with fever. We were refused.!!! The food is monotonous, tasteless, and everything is overcooked, just like in a hospital. There was nothing fried at all. The menu is sparse, there are no knives in principle, and that's how they answered us when we naively asked for knives on the first day, all salads with mayonnaise. We went to eat at a restaurant. There is no TV. They didn't give me a kettle either. They are not allowed to take their own food to the canteen. To take out an apple or, God forbid, a bun.... is a crime.. There are only 2 elevators on 18 floors. There are constant long queues. Vacationers are mostly elderly. There are few young people. The scoop is real.!!! There are not enough sun beds. 4 umbrellas for the beach. The beach is very dirty. The nature is beautiful, of course. Never set foot in this hotel again. Everything is terribly old, worn out, there is a smell of old. We do not recommend this hotel for sure. His score is 2.

We had a rest in October. The trip cost 50,000 rubles for two people for 15 days. The room was overlooking the sea, spacious. In general, the hotel is new and well renovated. The dining room is clean, the food is varied. Meat is mainly chicken, cutlets, meatballs. From fish pollock, hake, chum salmon. Fruits and vegetables . The bar has wine, chacha, beer all included. The beach is nice and clean.

I had a rest from 20.09 to 30.09., I really liked it - the proximity to the house, a fairly large well-maintained swimming pool and the maximum number of sun beds, there was always enough space for everyone. That's probably all. Elevators are the highlight of the hotel, if you want to watch stunning sunsets, mountain and sea views - you get a slim body as a bonus, get ready to walk or wait for an elevator for 20 minutes. Food... We would be glad not to eat in the dining room, but there is not much place to go. Even on the territory of the recreation area is limited, the pool is open until 8 pm, later you can not even sit on the sun beds... The last straw, the lamp in the lamp above the bed burned out in my room, the receptionist downstairs did not react in any way, I had to pack my suitcase in the dark... The service just doesn't work.

We stayed at this hotel at the end of May, I must say that I do not recommend going for any money! This is not a hotel with food, it is a torture of hunger and patience. Positive: beautiful views from the upper floors and Wi-Fi in the rooms and on site. DISADVANTAGES that are impossible to miss: The FIRST is nutrition, everything is exactly the same every day, there is nothing to eat, along with sliced apples you will get hair, sauces that last for several days, and what's left for lunch and dinner. Breakfast consists of three porridges, rubber pancakes and defrosted pancakes, overcooked eggs, sometimes there was something like burgers, that's all you can eat, there's also a casserole with pasta sticking out and a casserole with cabbage, etc. I saw the cheese once, it was disassembled in a few seconds, but no one touches the sausage, it's hard to call it sausage. Compote for each meal… Lunch, it's sadder here, you can eat soups, potatoes, but the meat is terrible, the cutlets are sour. Everything does not look very pleasant, it does not cause appetite. Dinner is the same as lunch, terrible salads with only cabbage, no vegetables at all! There are no free alcoholic drinks, and sliced apples are made from fruits. As for the room, there is a refrigerator, TV, hairdryer, dryer, the room does not look bad, BUT if it were not for the residents besides you, such as huge ants on the bed and centipedes / woodlice in the bathroom. ( there is no safe in the room ) It was good that they brought their towels, the hotel towels were stained. I can't say anything about cleaning. HOTEL SERVICES , we took you to play tennis, I do not advise anyone, a crooked table, a cheap ball and rackets, it is impossible to play, the cost is 300 rubles an hour. I also do not recommend a bar, everything is expensive, there are grocery stores 5 minutes from the hotel. The THIRD is the beach, there are no sun loungers, umbrellas, etc., it is not equipped, there are a lot of dogs running in the evening, and horses also come in. It's a little painful to walk barefoot on the rocks. The FOURTH is the pool in the parking lot. They don't clean it every day, we found out, but there are a lot of people there, children and adults, there is no toilet by the pool, so the question remains how safe it is to swim there. We didn't take the risk, the pool opens at 10 a.m., so there have been a lot of people there since the opening. While on vacation, a 4-year-old boy had an accident in this pool, he cut himself on the tile in the pool itself, as far as I know, they sewed up a cut for him, it's a pity that this happened. The pool was closed for one day, but the water was not drained.… As for the reception, as they say, the rooms are pre-allocated, so don't expect the best room if you arrive late and no one will feed you. When booking in advance, you need to specify that you need two separate beds, otherwise whoever you are to each other, you will sleep together on the same bed. They don't change the numbers. Excursions are offered near the hotel, you can safely go, prices range from 1000 rubles to 2000 rubles, you can go to the lake. Ritsa, I don't recommend going to the thermal waters, we didn't like it, Chernihiv is very beautiful, you can safely go there. In general, it's hard to call it a vacation)

My days off were ruined because the reception staff and the manager (she did not introduce herself, there was no badge, there was also no information at the reception) they are not able to resolve any situation. We were checked into room 213, there was a persistent, unpleasant and peculiar smell (it stank), I contacted the reception three times, but no one did anything, did not come. When, in the evening, after dinner, I persistently (already irritated, without insults) asked to fix the situation, the manager replied that it seemed to the three of us. Although the guests living nearby in the rooms said they could smell it too, and someone had already been moved from room 213. The manager or the manager, using memorized phrases, made it clear that they would not solve this situation. I had a headache and felt sick in this room. It was already late, no one would return the money, I, the child and the girl's mother stayed. It was very unpleasant to have such an attitude, although it was possible to correct this situation. When I entered the room, I saw that one pillow was unusable. It was a rag of a pillow in a clean pillowcase. Because the maids were not visible at all, knowing how they react at the reception, I took a rag pillow and went, again, to the manager, because there was no one else, and asked to replace the one that was not suitable for sleeping. To which the manager rudely threw me this rag pillow and I was asked by her (the manager) a question: Why did I bring her a pillow. " My answer is, . . In order to be replaced. To begin with, I will say that the food is delicious, there is a lot of choice, but I would like to have sausages.. The rooms are cleaned regularly, everything is very clean and good! There is a dryer and towels, the bed is clean. In the beginning, when we arrived, it was very cool, but then we started turning the lights on and off and of course the elevator didn't work, but we live on the 15th floor and had to walk up the stairs. I also wanted the Hotel to have its own bus that could pick up people from the airport, of course for a fee. So I'll say, no matter how the workers clean up! it was noticeable for sure, many times it was noticeable how children and adults were sick and a lot of people had stomach aches, for example, today a little boy started to feel sick in front of me and the child's mother was confused and it was right on the floor on the way to the toilet, but then they cleaned up after themselves. I rate it as a bonus, I hope the administration will take note of the shortcomings, but they are there. The hotel is fresh, not shabby. There is a lot of light, large Windows, air conditioning for both cold and heat. The food is wonderful, for every taste, the range of dishes is huge. The sea is nearby, the view from the window / balcony is gorgeous, the heated pool. Cons: incompetent staff, rude, unable to resolve conflict situations. Plus, the shortcomings of the tour operator Biblio-Globus, which does not take into account the wishes of the client when booking. I would not like to visit here in the summer, because the hotel is huge. It's great in the off-season.

I was on vacation with my child from July 16 to July 23, 2024. I liked everything. The room is clean, cozy, always cleaned. They write that there are not enough dishes and that the food is still bad, but we did not come to the beginning, but to the middle of the time and there were always dishes and places. Almost everyone has rotavirus, but we did not swallow water and drank Enterofuril for prevention and we had nothing, everything is fine. The staff is polite, there is music in the evening, there are contests. The beach is not full. There's always a place. And the fact that they write that there are not enough sunbeds, they probably come to lunch. And then, someone always leaves and the lounger is released. We had a litter box and we calmly found a place. there are few people and the beach is almost empty. The only negative is the dogs on the beach. Otherwise, everything is fine, the sea is clean and warm. The hotel is 3 stars, and some expect it to be a five-star hotel. Yes, there is a problem with elevators, but some people just can't just go down the stairs from the 5th or 4th floor. If you want a relaxing holiday by the sea, then come) Gudauta resembles just a small village with a sea) the views are beautiful, the sea is clean)

The room is small but very cozy with a sea view. The food is great, of course, for those who like shrimp and lobster, you are not here It's a couple of minutes to the beach, there's a heated pool, but I don't like it. Near the park, market, pharmacies, parikhmakherskaya. My husband and I liked it very much. And also, many thanks for such a renovation of the hotel owner. I talked to the locals not so long ago, they drove along the road and looked at the sea through the ruins. And now the high-rise hotel will be glad to come back again

Sun beds, for them you will have to stand in line near the pool, which opens at 10 a.m. The hotel saves on absolutely everything, sun beds by the beach, in this hotel and here they decided to save money, unlike other hotels there are no sun beds near the beach. At the time of writing the review, their ping pong table had just collapsed, and the issue had not been resolved all evening. You'll have to pay extra for a billiard table, there are two tables, but only two cues.

The view from the 18th floor is beautiful. The hotel itself was restored 2 years ago (locals say so), it is not adapted to such a large number of people. The elevators can't handle the flow. On one of the days of our stay, there was only one elevator working, to the 18th floor (our room was there) We got there after 25 minutes of waiting! Now about nutrition. Of course you can eat, but you don't really want to. Almost all the dishes are not delicious, the drinks are not delicious, I have never tasted worse coffee in my life. In short, you definitely won't get better here on the Swedish line.Since the trip was a business trip, you can live.

We really enjoyed our stay in Gudauta at the Grand Hotel Rossiya. Always delicious, varied dishes, alcoholic beverages, clean, heated swimming pool. Excursions, cheese and wine tastings for every taste. There are no problems with transportation. If you do not buy tickets from Gudauta, you can easily leave Adler. Crossing the border does not take much time.

We stayed at the hotel from August 30th to August 9th. We went for 10 days. Everything was fine for 5 days! The food is delicious and varied. The sea is good, clean, and warm. We went on 2 excursions. But on the 5th day, we started having rotovirus. And we spent the rest of our vacation in a room in terrible condition. We went to the hospital. Taxi 600 rubles, drip 1500. 80 people came from this hotel to the hospital every day. This Is Terrible! If you go to the pharmacy, then you still have to walk in this condition. And when they came home, they were in the hospital. And it could all be because of the dining room. Because someone is already sick, he came and ate. The next day, others ate with the same devices. And this is such a vicious circle!!! Therefore, I do not RECOMMEND the hotel! There is no unsanitary condition. The dogs are lying on the sofas of the hotel. And their darkness! There are a lot of dogs on the beach and you can go to the store too. They can run in packs in the morning and evening. In the morning, we looked at people from the balcony and threw ourselves at them. The music is screaming all day! Don't go to Gudauta at all! Because there's nowhere to go! You'll want to go for a walk in the evening. Just a concrete, dark road, 3 restaurants and a small park. THAT'S IT! There's nothing to do! You have to go to Gudauta with a bag of money for excursions and medicines.

A good budget hotel,clean sea ,fresh rooms (there was a 6th floor, we walked)good food, free sun beds (you just need to go to the sea early), pebbles enter the sea (special shoes are needed)there is animation for children, a clean pool. Near the market you can buy local fruits (prices are normal), there are dogs on the beach, but they do not touch. Of the minuses, smoking of vacationers is allowed at the entrance, and not far from the pool, because I was with the children, it was annoying. Overall, the impressions are positive

We stayed at this hotel at the end of August. Honestly, we read a lot of bad reviews, but the rest exceeded all our expectations (in a good way). Let's start with the check-in. The transfer brought us around 13:30, we were registered immediately. The first thing they sent for lunch, things could be left in the storage room. There are really not very friendly girls at the reception, but no one was rude to us. After lunch, we went to the room, we had an economy room on the 16th floor with a balcony overlooking the mountains. We knew about the elevator situation in advance after reading the reviews, but I must say right away, during the week of rest we never climbed the stairs and did not stand waiting for more than 5 minutes. People perceive this situation too acutely, they swear, but you just need to relax and relax. The elevator was breaking down, but it was repaired in a few hours, it just has a very heavy load, children and the elderly come in and press all the buttons. In general, there was nothing critical. I liked the room very much. Beautiful views, clean, comfortable bed, refrigerator, TV, hair dryer, air conditioning. There is a clothes dryer. There was cleaning every day, the maids were the nicest girls. The bedclothes were not changed, but we didn't need to for a week. Shampoos, gels, soaps and toilet paper were constantly being used. On the downside: the shower didn't drain well, and in recent days dogs could be heard barking at night if you didn't close the balcony. The next thing I want to tell you about is the sea. It takes about 5 minutes to walk to it, in general, the hotel stands on the shore. There is a private beach, they look after it, there is no garbage. There are always enough sunbeds, some come, others go, so those who write that they were left without a couch probably looked badly. I will add that there were a lot of people. The sea is gorgeous, transparent, there were days with waves, there were days with complete calm. Of the cons: there is a smell of sewage, but not much and mostly only on the road, there are a lot of dogs (not only on the beach, but also throughout Abkhazia), but they do not touch anyone, they just lie in the shade, and pebbles, it is very difficult to go into the sea barefoot (I advise you to buy special shoes in advance). The next category is food and dining. We also read a lot of bad reviews before the trip, but I can say with confidence that everything is a myth. The food is very good. The food is quite varied, for 7 days I have not repeated a single dish for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Everything is quite simple, but delicious. There is always tea, coffee only for breakfast, dried fruit compotes, yogurt, milk. There is always lemon for tea. 3 types of soup, 3 types of salads, 2 sauces (both very tasty, although simple), 3 side dishes, etc. The dishes changed every day. Baking, but we didn't eat because we were full. Fruits for lunch and dinner (figs, plums, oranges, apples, watermelon), to be honest, it was really necessary to fight for watermelon for dinner, it was snapped up very quickly. But, so that you understand, all dishes, including fruits, are periodically taken out as they end. Therefore, I advise you not to come at the beginning, but later, when the grandmothers and most of the children leave. There is no hype without them. There was no shortage of dishes, they wash them all the time. The dishes are really old and a little battered, but the hotel has 3 stars, so nothing critical. There was a coffee break, but we were at the sea at that time, and we didn't want to eat after breakfast. There was a grill too: French fries, wings, hot sandwiches, burgers. It was delicious, but unfortunately everything was cold. The bar served beer, wine, and chacha, but we're not drinkers, so I can't say anything. The juices were of 4 types, delicious, better than in our stores, in vain people write that they are diluted. They also gave out ice cream (fruit ice, but different) and sweet popcorn, there was no cotton wool. You can approach as much as you want, no one limits you. You can't take food out of the dining room, but we bypassed this rule by simply putting what we wanted in a container and in a purse, for example, when we went on an excursion or just fruits. No one stopped or searched. The pool is warm, music is playing, but we have never swum in it, because there are a lot of children and bleach. Regarding rotavirus: there were patients, mostly children, but only a few of them. We did not get sick, we followed basic preventive measures: hand washing, there is a sanitizer in the dining room, do not swallow water in the sea and pool, wash fruits from the market and shops before eating. People bought water in five liters to wash themselves, but we did it under the tap and everything is fine, you don't need to bring it to the point of absurdity. There really won't be any drinking water in the room, but we bought a bottle of mineral water and we didn't even finish it during the whole vacation. We went on an excursion to Lake Ritsa, the views are beautiful, but be prepared that the price in the price list is not the end. The additional expenses turned out to be more than the tour itself. The hot water, lights and Wi-Fi in the hotel were on all the time and worked fine. In general, the impressions of the vacation are only positive, there are disadvantages, but you can close your eyes to them and relax in peace. Do not forget that this is not Turkey and not 5 stars. I recommend the hotel Russia. If I go to Abkhazia again, then only here. We had a rest with the company at the Rossiya Hotel in the period from 10/19/2024 to 10/25/2024. A tour package was purchased: all inclusive (three meals a day and a snack bar), drinks all day without restrictions, equipped beach, heated pool. In fact, of course, everything is completely wrong. The pool is just icy, and at the same time the hotel staff said that it was warming up. There are no sun beds and equipped beach. We went to the reception, first they told us to ask the lifeguard, whom we never saw on the beach, then they told us that the season was closed and all tour operators were aware of this, the season was officially closed. Although the information desk lists the closing date of the season at the hotel on 01.11.2024. The receptionist promised to provide us with an official document, which we did not wait for. There are paid sun beds from the cafe on the beach, apparently the season has not been closed for them. The food leaves much to be desired, just a dining room, the food is tasteless from the word at all. Rice porridges and so on are just cereals filled with water and milk, you can't even call it soup. The food is not updated, if you ate the first stream of tourists, it means there is no more cheese, you will get it only at an early breakfast, then finish what you have. During our entire stay, there was not a single normal soup, either cabbage soup or borscht of the same color and taste. There are always no appliances in the dining room, plastic forks were already given out in the middle of dinner. There is no baking, or rather it is brought, everything is disassembled and that's it. Food is a huge minus. As for the drinks, from those declared without restrictions, there were only concentrates, wine and chacha, beer was poured for exactly two hours at most, one barrel, then it ran out. There is no drinking water on the territory at all, even in the dining room, only to buy. The explanation about the lack of beer -no, we did not expect so many tourists, which is interesting - the package of services was sold at full cost. The hotel administration does not know what the occupancy rate of the hotel is and at the same time everyone goes in advance, buying tours. BUT they did not hear us, they continued to work with such a limited regime for tourists. There is no animation there. There was one boy, turned on the speaker, conducted exercises and that's it, children in the nursery sometimes held master classes and that's it. There will be no music on the territory until you ask, even background music, they saved themselves with their speakers. Entertainment options include table tennis and billiards. Tennis without balls, if you want to play, buy it yourself)). And billiards is a broken cue, rewound with tape. For such a big name, the Grand Hotel Russia is even a bit shameful. Except for the reception and a small area between the pool and the hotel, there is nothing to do at all. The declared aqua aerobics never took place, because the animator did not get into the "Heated" pool). The weather was different during our stay, from storms to sunny days. The hotel claims to operate on an all-inclusive system, but the conditions do not correspond to those stated and the quality leaves much to be desired. We understand that this is Abkhazia and what kind of service can be here, but then sell real packages of services, and do not deceive tourists, while the hotel declares that the tour operator is aware, absolving itself of responsibility for the unreliability of the package of services sold. When you are going to leave, make arrangements in advance, and knowing the locals, this is not a guarantee at all that they will come, because very optional people, and it is not always possible to find a taxi at the hotel. At the beginning, we were offered to call a taxi at the reception, but then they sent us to the guards at the entrance, who simply were not there. In the end, we somehow found a taxi to get there and not miss the train. And this is taking into account the fact that we agreed in advance with the local driver, and he just did not come and did not warn about it. Now about the hotel. All the negative reviews that you will read are 100% true, you have seen for yourself, although you hoped that this was not the case. The elevator system is terribly processed, or rather it is not processed from the word at all. One elevator is constantly breaking down, beeping and giving errors. The other one rides the way he wants. Wait from 5 to 20 minutes, and it's a little difficult to climb to the 15th- 18th floor. We had to climb ourselves several times. The territory is extremely small, there are rocking benches, on which dogs either lie or are constantly occupied by drunken hotel guests. There are really a lot of drunks. The hotel is normal for its price! The room is nice, there is a clean pool, but small. If you want to lie on the sun beds on the beach, then get up early, because the beach area for such a large hotel is small and at 9 o'clock, it's hard to find a free sunbed, if you are ready to lie on the pebbles, then there is plenty of free space! The food looks so-so, but you won't starve to death! Beer doesn't taste good to me from alcohol, I haven't tried wine in eggplants and chacha.

We had a vacation with our family in late May, early June 2024. In general, everything is fine, the food is very decent, there is plenty to choose from. It takes 3 minutes to walk to the sea, slowly. The center of Gudauta is a 15-minute walk away. We rested in a two-room room, with two bathrooms, just great. Of the disadvantages, it is worth noting that we had to wait a long time for an elevator, there are only two of them on 18 floors, we often walked, but however it is useful! In general, I will rate our stay at this hotel on a solid four.
