Maybe my review will be useful to someone.We had a family vacation , the food if the family is not very good , the attitude of the staff is also , to put it mildly , not very good , the promised sun beds and umbrellas on the beach are not there at all , we had to buy a sunbed for money .In general , expectation and reality .The only plus is the sea is clean and there are few people.But I wouldn't come here a second time.So before you go here, read the reviews.

The food is terrible, the crowd, the queues, everything ends periodically:napkins, glasses,forks,sugar:(. However, there were fruits from the bottom of my heart - very tasty watermelons, peaches, nectarines. The room was not cleaned once in 10 days, once they were forced to change the bed linen!! The beach is large, small pebbles, the sea is relatively clean, but for some reason there is an unpleasant smell in the buoy area. There are catastrophically few sun beds and umbrellas!!! There is a queue for them from 6-7 in the morning, but you can take them for a fee from another hotel, although there are no umbrellas. The pool is beautiful, but we didn't swim, we were afraid of rotavirus. In general, the hotel is for 3.

To say that I had a shock is not to say anything. There is an outbreak of rotovirus in the area, there are a lot of sick people in the hotel, there are reminders everywhere on prevention, and in them the first points are - do not drink running water - and here a hotel employee - drink tap water. This is an indicator of the attitude towards the guests. During our vacation - we had a birthday, I went to the reception to clarify if there was a greeting from the hotel, they answered me - yes, we bring a fruit plate to the room as a compliment from the hotel. it would have been better if they had said that they did not have congratulations - they brought a salad bowl with cream, which the guests did not finish during dinner. It was disgusting and disgusting, the attitude, like to pigs, In the morning we returned this vase to the reception, let the staff treat themselves. The feeling that we are interfering with the staff, they made us happy, and we are asking for something. There is no animation.
I advise you to weigh everything well before you come here.

We were lucky and we didn't catch rotovirus. The big problem is the elevators and dogs on the premises. The rooms were cleaned every day, but shampoo and gel are not reported. In the dining room, most of the food is just cold and a little raw. Strangely enough, the overall impression remained good.

We had a rest in the middle of July. I want to start by saying that the hotel itself is very good, but the location is unfortunate. Gudauta is not the best place for such a hotel.
One of the advantages is a clean and beautiful hotel, the rooms are fresh, the towels and linen are snow-white. The food is tolerable - by the end of the rest you don't want to eat anymore. We ate in a cafe, but it's not tasty for us there either. But it's a matter of taste.
They did not dive, water from the sea did not get into their mouths, but their stomachs ached on the 5th day of rest, most likely local water (purchased) is not suitable and food is also prepared from it.
I want to feel the smell of the sea and the sound of the surf, instead of the smell of the channel and the frogs that do not stop talking around the clock. The kanalya river flows out next to the hotel (a drain pipe goes out of each house into the river) that's where the rotaviruses come from.. From the balcony you can see a spot that merges and goes out to sea towards the beach.. I recommend going to the beach on the right with a gate.
There are no cypresses, palm trees, flowers, greenery and mountains far away, unlike Gagra and Athos. The view from the balcony opens onto the old scary houses

Everything is for 4+, everything has been written about the elevators, the food is in the assortment and delicious, my respects to the chefs) the rooms are good, in my opinion it is better to choose higher floors-we had a more panoramic view of the sea, it was gorgeous))we went to the beach right after breakfast, so there were no problems, but those who like to sleep either sit on the pebbles, or after 12 in the heat. They did not get rid of dysentery, they cleared up with a bang, the conclusion is: swim without dipping your head and with your mouth closed, because sewage flows straight into the sea. It's a little dirty on the street, I haven't seen a single janitor in 10 days. But! the people are very friendly to tourists in principle. I recommend visiting the feast.

There are not enough sun beds on the beach, garbage is not cleaned on the beach. The elevator is generally a quest, you stand for 30 minutes to leave. In fact: Twenty floors, 265 TWO/Triple rooms. We get an average of 530/600 vacationers and ONLY TWO (!!) TWO!!! THE ELEVATOR. Add to this the frequent power outages - the picture is depressing.
Rooms: all rooms have ONE double bed. Therefore, whoever you come with, you will sleep together. The rooms are very small and cramped.
Nutrition: not only that, there is no variety: It's been the same for ten days. So the quality is DISGUSTING. The child was poisoned on the second day - vomiting and diarrhea for 4 days. Every SECOND vacationer experienced the same symptoms. Eating in the dining room should be extremely careful.
Staff: obviously tired. On the very first day, I contacted the fact that the hair dryer does not work in the room - in 10 days, no one fixed / changed the hair dryer. Linen is changed only after 5 days. Cleaning - the maid vacuums and wipes the floor in the shower. That's all.
Equipment: for whatever period you arrive, shampoo and gel SAMPLES are waiting for you. All. If you want hygiene, provide for yourself.
Pool: shallow. Not deep. Little. Boring.
Beach: tears!!! There are only 20 tourists for such a number(!!!) Twenty umbrellas and 50 deck chairs!!! EVERYTHING!! The beach is small. Not cleaned. Uneven. It's generally terrible after the storm. But that's not the main problem. There are packs of WILD DOGS on the beach! And although they are not aggressive, it is not pleasant. If you are not sitting on a chaise longue, but on a pebble - after leaving the sea you will not be able to use your blanket - there will be a dog lying there. And it is very problematic to drive her away. In addition, the water is dirty, it is covered with a thin layer of oil / gasoline / petroleum products from the engines of private boats that have settled on this beach (all kinds of "bananas", boats, jet skis). For comparison: 150-200 meters further away is the beach of another hotel, so there is always a caretaker who CLEANS the beach, chases away not only dogs and boaters, but also gently expels outsiders.
Bottom line: I DO NOT ADVISE against the word at all.

The food is just tin , to eat just to not be hungry ! Napkins that is , that is not ! Most of the plates are chipped ! The room is nice and clean with a balcony overlooking the mountains, the 17th floor was impressive! We rested from 07/21/23 - 07/28/23 this is some kind of HORROR, the whole hotel was vomiting from your food, all the children were sick of watermelons, all the food is spicy (apparently the sharpness is specially made so that the taste buds do not feel rotten). People take a lot of food, their eyes run away, and then they throw it in the trash and apparently then the chefs take it out of the trash and put it back on the Buffet. It was not a vacation, but "hugging" with the toilet all week!! You might think that there is an adaptation to such a climate and therefore it makes you sick, but children and adults vomit at every step ... by the pool, in the dining room, etc. Do something with food and the hotel will have no complaints, everything is fine, except this one. And here's another thing, put coolers on the floors, there is not enough water, we asked for a kettle in the room, they gave it to us, but it smelled very strongly of bleach and it did not come out in any way..if the coolers were standing, it would make it easier for everyone to stay at the hotel. The floor is uneven and the grate makes my head spin when I look down. The elevators are really a problem. We live on the 7th floor, we walk, we rarely wait. There is a swimming pool, and there are always a lot of people on it, animation. This is a big plus. The beach is 2-3 minutes away, there are few sun beds and umbrellas for such a large hotel. The territory is not fenced in any way. We didn't have enough sunbed in 5 days. They have been occupied since 6-7. The dining room is normal, there are few tables, but it is designed for a stream, not for simultaneous visits. The food is ordinary, you can eat. But they put adjika and spices, garlic everywhere. Sometimes they salt a lot. Well, it's quite possible to eat this way. There is no soap dispensers and paper towels in the toilet next to the dining room. Soap is put from an ordinary bottle, and then it does not always happen. I washed my hands and wiped them on myself. As it is, they have signs warning rotavirus everywhere. That's how they fight him. My daughter was vomiting last night, it all started at night, so we stained the bed linen. At night I went down to the reception and asked for a basin, I say the child is small, sick. They didn't help me in any way, they told me to wait for the morning. And the basin will be given, and the linen will be replaced. It's already 11 a.m. the laundry hasn't been brought, I went and reminded the maid. She referred to a broken elevator. She told me to wash the ruined linen so that it would be spotless. I took a basin from a neighbor and washed it, I have only baby soap from chemistry. There is no service here, they think about you at the very last moment. It so overshadowed the trip and the overall impression. The room was cleaned once from the 1st to the 5th, towels have not been changed yet. Shampoo and gel are applied once. The garbage was only cleaned 2 times during this time. The maids take all the remarks with hostility, start arguing. Today, 2 elevators broke down, the lights were turned off during the day. I read that there seems to be a medical worker, but they didn't tell me anything about it at the reception yesterday.

Abhakhia amazed us from the first minute of our stay! The sea is blue, without debris, jellyfish and dirt! Mountains, rocks, gorges, waterfalls — that's why you can return to the country many times!
The city of Gudauta itself is located 100 kilometers from the border, the city looks more like a village, there is no opportunity to have fun, however, there are not so many tourists, so we chose this city to stay.
The hotel itself as a whole left positive impressions, in order to get to a hotel abroad, where the windows overlook the boundless turquoise sea, you have to pay a lot of money, and not the fact that you will be lucky. And here you have an unreal view from the window, and on the other side, on the shared balcony, a fascinating view of the mountains!
The room has air conditioning, very convenient to use. There really are no shelves in the bathroom, it would seem, what a trifle, but it causes discomfort. They knew about the problem with the elevator, so when they entered the elevator, they just turned off their heads, otherwise irritation would spoil the whole rest. A lot of people are trying to stuff themselves into this elevator, which is constantly beeping and breaking down due to overload.
The administration and staff really do not stand on ceremony with the guests. The bar is closed earlier than expected, by the middle of the day the beer runs out, 2 shampoos were put on 2 adults for 6 days of rest, it was impossible to wash the hair, when contacting the administration, they said that usually everyone buys shampoo themselves. The dining room is a separate test, our people, especially grandmothers and mothers with children, run ahead, just to grab a better piece. Pushing, shouting. It was a nightmare, of course, but at lunch time we turned off our heads again and perceived everything as a series) The food was as good as possible, there was no fruit at all. There are no drinks, only sour compote of dried fruits. Food without salt, pepper and sugar. Indeed, it's like for pigs, but what can you do if our people behave like that. There is a feeling of contempt for Russian people on the part of the staff, and indeed the entire people of beautiful Abkhazia.
The water was only on the street from the tap, I thought that people were washing their feet there, but they said that you can drink this water. Every day, waking up in the morning, we wondered whether we had caught rotovirus or not, whether the patients would lie down or not. Thank God, the disease bypassed us!
In general, the rest turned out to be great! For us personally, all the disadvantages were not postponed in memory, but if you pay attention to everything, then you can significantly spoil your vacation.

We stayed at this hotel for 9 days.
Positive:

- on the 7th day of our stay, we still dried ourselves with dirty towels and did not sleep in clean pastel linen, because they do not have their own laundry and do not have enough linen to change. Although at the entrance they said that they change the bed linen for the 4th day)

We had a vacation in July 2023 with a family with 3 children. Great hotel, everything is clean, everything is new in the rooms. The food is fine, the menu is like in the dining room. The food is good, you won't stay hungry, but somehow all this is served, that you don't want to go there once again, I've been to many places, I worked as a cook in the dining room, but somehow it's not cozy here. There are few umbrellas and sun beds on the beach, although over time I think this will be fixed, lying on the pebbles is also fine, although an umbrella would not hurt and a toilet would be organized on the beach, although I doubt that it would be clean, people are not in a hurry to do anything to improve convenience. The people themselves are responsive, but this is how you behave yourself, they always poured too much or gave me fruit at the market. Everything was fine, despite the fact that our company had been poisoned, you don't even know where you'll catch it. The view from the room is on the one side of the sea (for an additional fee when buying a tour), on the other side of the mountains and the city. The sea is close and clear. There are no more advantages. It takes about 1 -1.5 hours to drive from the border. Minuses: 1. The problem with the elevator. Waiting during rush hour for 20 minutes or more. Until you wait for him, and then until you get to your floor, it will take 20-30 minutes.
2. A terrible rotavirus is walking around the hotel (diarrhea, vomiting, high fever). It is impossible to go to the sea, especially to go on an excursion. You're sitting in the room like you're tied to the toilet. All adults and children.
3. City dogs walk freely on the territory of the hotel. The guards don't kick them out. When we were there, one of the dogs barked and scared a little girl. They start barking around three in the morning. And even with the window closed (this is the side facing the mountains and the city), it can already wake up.
4. The dishes are very poorly washed, there are a lot of chipped plates. Tea bags just don't brew. There is no tea for lunch and dinner, only compote. The food is monotonous.
5. The road to the sea goes along the fence, where there are containers with garbage from the hotel. The smell in the 30-degree heat is terrible.

Positive : The hotel is beautiful and new. They feed for slaughter, bring +5kg safely 😃 they clean the room every day, toilet paper, soap, shampoo, gel - they give everything out. The view from the room to the sea is beautiful, but the mountains are also beautiful. The staff is good, the medical office is present. The pool is warm in the month of May, children do not climb out.
Cons : only one, the elevator often breaks down, because of this you have to walk, the elevator may not work all day, and once 5 and 15 floors are not easy to climb (there are 18 floors in total)

We visited the hotel in October 2023. The hotel is clean and new. The rooms are good. We chose for October with a swimming pool, but for 10 days we never took a swim, it was not heated, although it is indicated that it is heated.the beach is not bad with large stones, but the sunbeds were fastened, under the chain, a small number were free, but they were always occupied. The dining room is large, the food selection is not bad. There was a sign in the lobby neatly ROTOVIRUS and many of the hotels were sick.
The location of the hotel is good. The rooms are cleaned daily, linen is changed frequently.

A disgusting hotel, with terrible food, always busy elevators and a bunch of dogs. The bed linen was changed only on the fifth day, after lengthy requests, the linen was gray, the cot for the child was broken, rotovirus was all over the hotel. One of the advantages is the clear sea and that's it!!! In no case spoil your vacation by staying at this hotel!!!

The hotel itself is great, clean, new! The girls at the reception are polite, the cleaning is always!
They say the pool is heated ... but something is not noticeable, maybe 20 degrees, but it's May outside 14-17. Whoever wants to swim, it's everyone's business, I have very cold water.
The food, everything was fine for the first 2 days, but then what remains is spread sour, the salads were spoiled 2 times, and the sausages were sour, they did not eat.. soup with peas and porridge peas, like something incomprehensible, peas do not even smell like plastic. In general, if you take this hotel, it's better without food!
One more thing, the evacuation exits are closed for the evening!!! And if something happens? 18 floors!

We chose this hotel because a friend lives in this city.the guests praised it even before the opening, they said that everything would be there, from the gym to the beauty salon, I did not even see a massage chair. As a result, I returned home, and I was just happy that my vacation was over.

There must be mass poisoning!?! There was a cafe on the beach-the hostess told us-rotavirus in the water! Rivers and sewers overflowed.
About the hotel-It's gorgeous! Everything is clean, new, bright! The room is just for 5+! We were given a crib for the baby.Hair dryer,TV with 20 channels, refrigerator with freezer!cleaning and linen change on Thursday. There is a kettle at the reception, an iron and a board on the floor (with a steamer!)
Animation in the hotel!!! The boys are great! If there are "living" people, always with them! And in tennis and in the pool and music in the evening with contests.
The dining room!!!!! A sore subject! I will say one thing-people are sick themselves!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Just a herd!!!!! They're pushing, taking what they won't eat!!!!!!! They drag me as if they haven't seen any food!!!!they climb without waiting in line, they shove children. It's a terrible sight!!!!!!this is the first time I've seen this at a buffet! The food was great!!! 4 types of soups, lots of side dishes, chicken, fish, hedgehogs, the tenderest meat in gravy! Salads are different, pastries. The workers are well done, they bring what is over on time, clean, wipe, they will bring it if you ask for appliances and dishes. A microwave oven is always available in the dining room! We were heating baby food.
The pool was 27 degrees, clean. The barbecue area is nearby, there was enough space for everyone. Probably not the season.

We rested at the end of May, the weather was gorgeous, the sun was not too hot yet, and in the evening there was a fresh wind)) we booked a triple room (children under 6 years old for free, without providing a bed) with a sea view, when checking in we offered the first floor, at first we were upset that we would not see the sea from the window, but during the rest it was clear that we made the right choice, because the children constantly ran to the room (to drink, to the toilet, for candy and SO ON) in the room (triple) there was a large double bed and a full single bed (not a cot!!) Mini fridge, shower towels, and pool towels, shower accessories are put once upon check-in (no longer allowed), but I have my own special shampoo and shower gel, garbage is cleaned in the room every day and the floors are wiped. There is no kettle in the room, but you can ask at the reception or in the lobby bar to take boiling water (the bartender will heat the water in the kettle) I would like to note that in high season, if you choose a higher room, at rush hour you will have to wait for an elevator (and the building is 18 storeys high) or climb the stairs! Therefore, it is better for people aged or with infants to live on the ground floor! The heated pool (water is about 24°), there are sun beds and umbrellas, as well as an employee who looks after the pool. By the beginning of the season, the beach on the sea is being improved (sun beds were brought and a bar counter was installed on the shore). Three meals a day, everything is delicious and fresh, fish, meat, vegetables, fruits, cakes for lunch. Only "our people are wild," they picked fruits and put them in bags, adults behave like children (running after cakes pushing children away) maybe everything is different in the season! Buffet meals! The management needs to think over the issue of pandemonium near the distribution tables (it is possible to put employees who themselves put food on the plates of guests, and not vacationers snatching food from their hands) the hotel territory is not large. As in the whole of Abkhazia, there are many stray dogs that walk around the hotel! One unpleasant moment upset the rest! A hotel employee kicked the dog out of the territory and she decided to escape on our sunbed near the pool (there were children's clothes and towels), so she emptied herself on them))) It's just a nightmare! I went to the reception to wash my clothes, but there was no washing machine in the hotel! They offered a basin! Please consider the management of the Hotel to put at least one washing machine, BECAUSE such an unpleasant incident spoiled the rest a little, and a lot of vacationers with children! We had to throw away the things spoiled by the dog!That's the only thing I didn't like!the nature in Abkhazia is beautiful. There are taxi drivers outside the Hotel who will take you to all the popular attractions!
