It is a popular location for both tourists and locals. There are already dozens or hundreds of videos with an overview of this place) You can see how pilaf is cooked. There are several types of pilaf, they tell you what is the difference between one and the other, so that you take which one you like best.
There are always a lot of people here) At lunch, at first glance, there are no seats in the hall, but they quickly appear. Wait for a maximum of 5 minutes.
The pilaf is delicious)

The place, of course, is typically touristic and designed specifically for tourists. It's not worth looking for a "local flavor" here for sure. But the pilaf is delicious. although not a masterpiece, the staff is quite efficient, and the price tag is quite tolerable.
I don't think it's worth going here on purpose, but if you happen to be nearby, it's definitely worth going in. Moreover, visitors are allowed to enter the kitchen, which is worth a visit just to assess the scale of the enterprise...

A very cool and "delicious" place - though only for lovers of oriental cuisine, there is simply no other one here :))) But the pilaf is excellent, there are up to 4 types all the time-and you can not only eat it, but also watch the whole process of preparation, which takes place nearby, in a hall with huge cauldrons! Everything else is also delicious and very affordable. Separately, I was pleased with the fresh pomegranate juice, which is pressed right in front of you from fresh fruits. So if you are a lover of real pilaf and are ready to spit on the opinion of would-be nutritionists who consider it excessively fatty and not useful - you definitely need to visit this place at least once!!! I am exactly like that-that's why I put the top five with a clear conscience and I will definitely visit this worthy place again if I am lucky enough to visit Tashkent again!!!

An amazing colorful place! You only need to eat pilaf here. Very affordable prices. You can immerse yourself in the atmosphere and watch how pilaf is really cooked in a huge cauldron. There are several types. If you are not used to fatty foods, then immediately ask for a non-greasy one.
And just incredibly delicious tortillas, which are cooked right there

One of the most delicious pilaf flavors in Tashkent. I recommend it for both family and personal visits.
LIFE HACK. Pay for the desired pilaf from the outside cash register, take something and go to the cook. Everything will be put on you quickly, and then just find a place where you can sit and eat.
Inside the building, you can buy bread, tea or compote, salads separately
You will save time, because due to the large number of visitors, the waiters do not always have time to serve everyone quickly. And so, you will save both time and money for maintenance.
Have a good trip and enjoy your meal 🙃

What can I say, pilaf center. I usually order a wedding pilaf. Pickles go with it.
Everything is fine. You can see firsthand how plo is prepared in cauldrons with a diameter of several meters.
There is a shop nearby for tourists. You can buy national clothes, silk scarves, souvenirs. It has long been one of the must-visit places for tourists.

About once a year I get to Besh Kazan with someone for company and every time I notice that it gets worse. The place is hyped, pop, tourists are brought here by buses, and the institution simply cannot cope with such a flow. I understand that huge cauldrons are the main feature of the restaurant, but you can't let everyone in a row and in such quantity into the pilaf cooking area. This is, first of all, the kitchen, and there are people like at a demonstration - Chinese in masks, Europeans with dogs, mothers with strollers - not counting the chefs. Make glass walls there, hang broadcast monitors in the hall so that everyone can watch, but do not climb with their hands.
Why is pilaf paid in one place, and salads, tortillas and drinks in another? Make a clear distribution so that people don't migrate from queue to queue.
Toilets are a song. There is a hole in the floor, and there is a queue of three forks to it.
Before you eat, you get into the quest queue to pay for pilaf, then the queue to distribute pilaf, then the queue for salad, then you look for an empty table. Are all inconveniences compensated by the magical taste? In my opinion, no. Pilaf is the most ordinary, although, of course, there is no dispute about tastes.
The price per serving has more than tripled over the past three years. It is already like in Russia. Instead of investing in development, the owners just cut coupons

At the entrance you get to the workshop where pilaf is prepared. There is smoke, meat is being chopped, something is being fried and cut. Everything is very slow. And this should be understood immediately. So go indoors, it's cooler there, find an empty table. It's a little hot outside, even under the awning and irrigation system. Pilaf was taken from Tashkent, with raisins, kazy and quail egg. Another dolma was walking towards him. It's very tasty. There are also very tasty tortillas here. Lemonade only looks beautiful, in fact there is a lot of syrup, it is very sweet, and herbs and lemon are not felt. It feels like you're drinking syrup. So it's better to have compote or green tea. Black in Uzbekistan is a regular packaged one. The prices are normal.

The menu according to the person taking the order - 4 types of pilaf, tomato salad, two types of compote (or fruit drink - I do not remember), tea. Four stars - the pilaf did not quite meet (my personal) expectations. We ordered Tea house and Tashkent (festive, wedding). Both are delicious, but I was hoping there would be a bomb. The tea house went better - sharper than the Tashkent one, the corresponding pepper on the plate. I recommend the place.

Among the endless variety of restaurants, cafes, snack bars in Tashkent, there are several iconic places where there is no end of curious tourists. One of them is the Central Asian Pilaf Center, the Besh Qozon restaurant (Five cauldrons). A very authentic establishment.
Rumors that the pilaf is very tasty here are greatly exaggerated. The pilaf is ordinary, without any special frills and emotions. However, I only tried Tashkent pilaf (one of several that are prepared here), perhaps not the most delicious. Conveyor service. Orders are processed and submitted fairly quickly.
There is an atmosphere of excitement and bustle at the tables on the huge outdoor terrace under the awning.
Nevertheless, this restaurant is definitely worth a visit, but not for the sake of eating, but to see how it is prepared. Giant cauldrons are floating on an open fire, a hose is watering the floor, a good dozen chefs are tirelessly conjuring at cauldrons and cutting tables. Fire is burning, water is pouring, people are working - a combination that, as they say, can be admired indefinitely. The Show Must Go On!
Traveling around Tashkent, look here for an hour, especially since you can kill two birds with one stone, since there is a TV tower very close by, from the height of which you will see the picturesque, colorful, contrasting panorama of the capital of the Star of the East.

Very rude waiters, there is no menu, everyone speaks from memory, pilaf that stands over the stove in the morning and does not cool down is just trash.
Yes, yes, and on 08/27/2024, after having dinner there, my children of 12 and 15 years old lay flat due to poisoning (vomiting, green stools). Dysbiosis and our trip was disrupted for 2 days..
