In the UAE for the first time. We arrived as a family of three. The child is 12 years old. The hotel was recommended to us by friends who rested in it two years ago. Personally, our opinion: externally, the hotel is very beautiful, the halls are richly decorated, fresh flowers, cleanliness and live music every day, which is very nice, a large territory. At the entrance, the guard always asks for the room number, which allows you not to worry about your safety. As for the room: we took a superior room with a view of the garden and a terrace so that you could sunbathe. The rooms are "tired", require repair and thorough cleaning of carpet and upholstered furniture, a lot of stains, somehow it's a little strange for the five. It was supposed that the child would sleep on the sofa, but it does not UNFOLD, so they asked for a bed. Otherwise, everything is fine in the room. The service is excellent, they brought absolutely everything we needed: bathrobes, an ironing board, an ashtray. Now separately for pool lovers:yes, there are a lot of them, BUT! They are small. Two main ones for older children, two for toddlers, one only for 16+, you can swim, but if only in the morning or after 16.00 because of the large number of people. The sea is clean, very warm, there is depth, so we went swimming there. The bars are not bad, beer, a lot of alcohol, but don't expect exclusive cocktails, they don't know how to make them.And now the cherry on the cake is food: every day is themed, the main dishes of different countries. That is, if Italy, then a lot of pasta, pizza, lasagna. Personally, I don't like meat, so I expected that there would be fish every day. Yes, it is, but either fried, or in batter or in some sauce. Once there was salmon cooked whole on the grill. There is seafood, but also in sauce or in Mexican tortillas, like quesadillas. The breakfasts are great, but don't wait for red fish, the lunches are good, in general, you definitely won't stay hungry. And the last thing I would like to advise: if you eat with small children, then you will like absolutely everything, BUT if the children have grown up and you still want to stay away from the anthill, choose more compact hotels. Well, there are a lot of people and the hotel, as for me, does not cope. Even queues for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Our verdict: territory 5, food 4, service 5, silence 3, swimming pools 3, beach 4 only because there are not enough sunbeds for everyone!!! According to the principle, who did not have time, he was late. And so, no offense, the hotel does not pull 5 stars.

We had a rest in September 2022. We were going to Turkey, but the tour operator offered this trip. Everything is wonderful! Of course, anyone who wants to find disadvantages will find them: for example, a suite, and there is nowhere to dry towels and swimsuits, instead of a balcony there are wooden railings, we had to tie them to them so as not to be blown away by the wind. Or stains on upholstered furniture and carpet, and this is in the suite! But in the end, we didn't come to sit in the room. The sea was unusual - almost no waves, no surf, hot water.. and the turtles that pop up next to you from time to time, a huge head comparable in size to your head - it's an unforgettable experience! Food without complaints, drinks too. 2 stages, each with concerts in the evening - live music, shows. In comparison with the Turkish ones, again, they are a little monotonous. There are pools for children and adults, but we always choose the sea. We did not go to Dubai and on excursions, it was far, expensive, we rested for 6 days, we did not plan shopping. We went to a mall nearby for gifts, and at the same time visited an ordinary supermarket. It is enough for the taxi driver to say the name of the hotel. Well, it's better to have cash dirhams, and quickly calculate in your mind the cost of everything in rubles..this is for those who don't want to throw money away.

- It's too crowded in the main restaurant, there's not enough space, there's always a queue for food, it's a little damp in the room, things practically don't dry, girls take two swimsuits, I took one and it's constantly damp. Vacationers are the majority of the Russian Federation and the KZ. The sea is not particularly clean, well, it's not the sea, but the bay ..., the first impression is "froggy", then you get used to it). But after dinner, the animation is a complete disaster, there are very very few seats, after the flight at 9 o'clock, we did not find a place in the evening and just sat on the sun beds, away from the bar and animation. We were in the room (it was good that I was dressed), the door opens and a staff member is standing behind it, he brought us a cake in honor of the first day at their hotels, he could have knocked to begin with, and not immediately open the door... We were checked in according to the rules of the hotel at exactly 15:00, and we were on the spot at 11, after a grueling flight - it's so hard.
About food, what can I say, food is like food, you will not stay hungry. There is a huge construction site on the right, but it somehow does not interfere.
In general, we concluded that we would not come here again.

The beach is big, but everyone takes up space in the morning. If you arrive at 11 o'clock, you may not find a free place. The situation at the pools is similar. The hotel is good, like all hotels in the Rixos chain, but requires renovation, which has been promised for several years. Of the obvious advantages, the ultra all-inclusive system, that is, for a minimum of 3 meals a day, the restaurant also has a burger joint and several cafes and bars, and you don't have to pay for anything anywhere! Not like in some all-inclusive hotels, where you even have to pay for water and tea for lunch and dinner. You can leave the hotel and walk along the embankment. There is a small shopping mall 10-15 minutes away by car. It takes an hour to get to the center of Dubai.

The rooms are old, the sink was leaking when checking in, they asked to fix it, but no one came during the week of stay. On the beach, sun beds and umbrellas need to be replaced. We were at this hotel in the summer from July 5 to 15, since I don't really like the heat, but with Turkey this year, something is generally overkill, we decided to go to the UAE, and we wanted something new, and the choice just fell on Rixos Bab Al Bahr. The temperature on arrival was 42C in the shade, the sea in which I wanted to cool down at least a little, did not give such an opportunity, but only offered to pour foam for the bath and enjoy, but there was a lot of humidity that day and it just affected, the following days the temperature reached 45C and all this in the shade, but the humidity faded, and it was already breathing great, the tides also did their job, the sea slightly reduced the heat, the heat, the water 32 no less. The hotel is cool, it's Rixos. Well, as everywhere there are shortcomings, unless of course you find fault. A lot of swimming pools, a children's area for kids, for teenagers, which is my son of 12 years, there is a Kid's club with billiards, air hockey, PS4 consoles, in general, everything you need to separate from your parents in the afternoon during the peak heat. There were constant tournaments, in general, the child was satisfied. The hotel itself is architecturally with a lot of corridors, and consists of several buildings, honestly even got lost several times, or once again turned off the elevator there. We arrived at the hotel at about 11 am with the check-in, we had to wait, but nothing went to have lunch and take a chilling tour of the hotel. The room was great, but as it turned out without a balcony, which initially upset, but without hesitation, going to the reception, a nice conversation with the staff and voila, the next day, we were already in another room with a balcony, and with a view of the sea. Special thanks to the reception staff: friendly, responsive, caring, always understand everything and help in a difficult situation, by the way, like all the staff in general, it really made me very happy. According to the food, they feed perfectly a plethora of dishes, from meat, fish, there were seafood constantly and cuisines of different countries every day, there are several restaurants on the territory that I recommend signing up for immediately upon arrival to experience all the more abundant cuisines of the world, there is also just a burger joint that works only from 22.00 and until the morning, a place, which saves after late arrivals from excursions. According to the evening programs, live music with vocals, live music of a pair of violin and cello, an awesome team with an evening dance show, the guys just burned out what they were doing on stage, it's just a plague. You can't walk into the city especially during the day with a walk from the asphalt, it's hot, but if everything happens, then a decent supply of water, hats, creams, but it's better in the evening when the heat subsides. To the right, when leaving the hotel, there is a park 10-15 minutes away, you can take pictures against the background of the sea at sunset, a pleasant sight. The rest is Dubai, the main life and entertainment there. In general, rest for 5 +, the reconnaissance was a success. Will I come again? Be sure to wait.

The food is excellent and varied for every taste. We cleaned the room and changed towels every day. The sea without waves, calm - ideal for bathing children. Minuses:
- The hotel is really old. The rooms require repairs, interior changes, furniture and equipment - a noisy air conditioner is really unpleasant (and I'm also downplaying it - it made noise like an industrial extractor hood), but I'll make a discount - maybe we were just unlucky with the room.
- Frankly weak Internet. But even here there is an "excuse" - they immediately warned about it (even at the moment of choosing a hotel).
- What else ... well, perhaps the strange work of bars. But it's true - I really "find fault".
pluses. There are a lot of them, so perhaps only the main ones:
- very comfortable mattresses on the beds.
- good sound insulation of the rooms.
- there are always free sun loungers on the beach (near the pool ... here as luck would have it).
- the hotel is just a very decent option for a holiday with children (ours did not "climb out" of the children's club).
- well, the cuisine in the main restaurant: breakfasts and lunches are simply of high quality, but dinners are a "big and fat PLUS" here.

Cons - a very tired room, it is unrealistic to find a sunbed near the main pool if you like to sleep in the morning. Since it's windy on the beach in winter, there are a lot of people in the pools.
The main disadvantage. - miniclub. A very weak club, sluggish staff. There is nothing for children to do there, just to draw. It won't work to leave the children there, they don't go there. There are culinary master classes, but rarely, by appointment. If the miniclub is not taken into account, then a very good hotel.
