We rested in Rixos with a family of 4 people (2 adults + 2 children 5 and 11 years old). We drove from the airport to the hotel for about 1 hour and 20 minutes. We arrived early in the morning, settled right away, for which special thanks. But! The room was provided small, although specially booked superior with a large area. It turned out that we were on Eid al-Adha holidays and, apparently because of this, all the rooms with a larger area were occupied. There is one double bed in the room. Later they brought a couch for one child blocking access to the closet. Where to sleep the second child was not explained. Here's a Rixos: sleep baby on the mat. Of course, it was a shock for us. We went to the reception to ask for a larger room, because even the closet could not be opened, and the second child had nowhere to sleep. We were offered to pay an additional $390 for a good room. And they said that it was the travel agency's fault that they sold us a room for 4, although three people couldn't fit there (( the mood dropped… And after I asked to talk to the chief administrator, we were still offered to move to a bigger room, but after 5 pm. We were delighted, we approach the reception in the evening, and there the staff has already changed and again they offer to move only for an additional fee (((We did not expect this in Rixos!!! I was already on the verge of hysteria, in the evening we still achieved our goal: we were moved to a larger room and put 2 extras. beds for children. So, unfortunately, the first impression of the hotel was already spoiled. On food: everything is fine, there is a lot of everything and delicious, shrimp, mussels, squid, various fruits, including exotic ones. In the main restaurant, you feel like in a canteen: tables and chairs are cheap, there are queues everywhere, you often had to stand for coffee for 15 minutes. Coffee machines were constantly breaking down (or something was running out), by the way, I found delicious coffee only in the lobby. We visited almost all a la carte restaurants, we liked everything very much. But on the day of departure after 12:00, you will no longer be fed! Keep this in mind. The hotel itself is already tired, but everything you need is there, the staff is well-trained, almost all requests are fulfilled quickly, the mini-bar is replenished, daily cleaning is very thorough. We express our great gratitude to our cleaner (room 1423, 28.06-07.07.2023) and the employee who replenished our mini-bar daily. Initially, there was bad Internet in the room, an IT technician came and fixed everything (an Indian, thank him very much). The service is excellent everywhere, the staff is smiling all the time (except the bartenders, especially in the main bar, but it was very hot for them and the work is continuous, you can understand), even the toilets at the pools are clean and tidy. This is a huge plus for the hotel. The sea during our visit was very warm, almost boiling water, not refreshing at all, so basically all the guests swim in the pools, so all the pools are packed to capacity, there are a lot of people and it was uncomfortable to swim. The only pool where there was always a place and it was quiet is the Infinity Pool for adults. There was almost no one on the beach. There is a children's and teen club. This is a family hotel. There were very, very many children, respectively, constant jostling and noise, the daughter, with all her love for children's clubs, refused to go to this club for the second time. In the evening, a children's disco is held. Don't wait for super fun animation with different nightly shows like in Turkey. There is nowhere to walk near the hotel, there is nothing nearby, you have to take a taxi to the nearest shops in the center of Ras al Khaimah. In general, we liked the hotel, I wrote about the shortcomings.

It is with deep dissatisfaction and disappointment that I have to share with other tourists my experience of staying at the Rixos Hotel. I expected the best service and conditions from such a famous hotel.
The kitchen caused the maximum disappointment: I reacted with indignation to the lack of soups and European cuisine on the table. It would seem that any hotel on a global scale should ensure the availability of a varied menu for any gastronomic preferences. This especially became a problem when it became clear that there was no suitable food for the child.
Moreover, there were many Indians in the hotel who clearly satisfied their culinary preferences, while allowing themselves to behave extremely disrespectfully and loudly. Obviously, the dining room of this hotel was not designed for such a large number of people, which caused it to be overcrowded and there were no empty seats anywhere.
As for our room, it leaves much to be desired. In addition to being dirty, the hotel staff allowed themselves to break in without knocking, which seriously violates the rules of confidentiality and privacy.
The hotel's pools were also in poor condition. The dirty water made it impossible to swim.
To make things worse, we were asked to leave a positive review about the hotel. Instead of improving the quality of services and living conditions, they asked us to cover all these problems with positive feedback. I strongly advise against visiting this hotel.

I don't understand, who writes that the hotel is beautiful?! Apparently there is nothing to compare it with.
Objectively: the hotel is tired and in need of repair. It's all on snot. The carpets in the rooms are dirty. There was a stink. There is a table on the balcony, a bird has made a mess of it, but the cleaners have not wiped it. The windows are dirty. The curtains are dirty. There is no coffee machine in the room. Insects in the room that run even at the smell of cough syrup, I'm not talking about sweets (closed). I have not encountered this in other hotels. Brushes and paste are provided only on request. There is no fine comb. Disgusting sauna area. A terrible 2x2 hammam. But what surprised me the most was the shared locker room with showers for men and women. Children are not allowed in the sauna. Sauna 18+
The food is delicious. You won't stay hungry, but the choice is small. But in general, it's fine. There is no comfort in the dining room, I don't want to stay there. Even out of season (December), the hotel is full, and there are queues for breakfast, lunch and dinner. There are a lot of children, a lot of noise. That is, if you need relaxation and peace, then you definitely are not here. You go and pour the drinks yourself. They can rarely come up and ask.
If you are lactose intolerant, there is no alternative milk here.
The towel is given out by cards. Personally, this is inconvenient for me. Maybe it's okay for someone.
The staff is generally helpful and friendly. There are Russian speakers.
But there is only one name from rixos here. It feels like we arrived in Egypt at the 4th. The hotel needs good service and renovation. We will never come here again. I was so sorry that we chose this hotel instead of the other one next door.

There were 2 times - in 2018 and 22 .
The contingent of guests are married couples with many children, grandparents from the UK, the Netherlands, the countries closest to the UAE, Kazakhstan, Eastern Europe, Russia.
The food is of high quality and quite diverse, the dishes vary from day to day, but the leitmotif of the buffet is about the same.
There is a rush hour in the restaurant, but in general, I didn't notice any special problems with the seating - the hostess will help if anything.
For adults without children, the restaurant has a separate half of the hall, which is good.
Beer/wine/whiskey is served starting from lunch.
There are 2-3 restaurants a la card, but it's a little difficult to feel them, they are not particularly interested in the clientele.
There is something like a grill bar on the outskirts of the hotel, where burgers with French fries are made from lunch to night - the children would only eat there, let them go :)
There are several bars scattered around the territory, cocktails are normal, nuts/snacks are available, there is a bar with a pool and TVs on the walls for watching football in a detached building above the pool.
A good children's club pen with a shallow pool and friendly animation, speaking including in Russian.
If the child has no problems with socialization, there is a chance that you will lose him there for a couple of days :)
There is a bazaar with souvenirs right on the territory, a beauty salon and SPA (for some money), a pharmacy, a medical center.
From sports - mainly beach volleyball on a couple of playgrounds. Ah, well, charging to music for aunts in the pool.
There is a football ground, but I've never seen anyone play there - it's too hot.

The rooms age quickly, there was no renovation from 2018 to 22, the maintenance repair is not sufficient everywhere.
The staff was previously from Southeast Asia, now more from Kazakhstan/Uzbekistan/Pakistan.
The sea is a typical puddle of the Persian Gulf.
There are concerts in the evenings, but not every day.
It makes no sense to go out on the spit outside the hotel - you'll be sweating if you just look at neighboring hotels like Movenpick or Hilton.

Absolutely killed luxury and superior rooms!!! With torn mosquito nets ..with tiles in the showers with fungus ..no separate meeting and registration in a separate VIP room as stated..and no breakfast in a separate restaurant ( as stated ) for guests of this category ..which actually prompted me to book this room! There is NO SAND on the beach .. but concrete , which turned into sand imported 20 years ago ..the same is true in the murky waters of the artificial bay ..The food and staff are excellent at the same time..but the crowds of compatriots and Kazakhs discourage appetite😂😂

I would like to write about the children's room in the hotel. There were a lot of children in the hotel, but in my opinion it is significant that a maximum of 10-15 people stay in the children's room. My children were bored. There are practically no toys, children are hanging around, waiting for the hour set in the schedule when a lesson with them is planned.
If it will be a DIY before lunch, then they will take them to a cooking master class. At the same time, if you are a parent at 12 o'clock in the afternoon did not have time to enroll a child in the list for a master class on food (and they take 10 children at most), then the child is not taken. At the same time, it is popular for children to cook pizza 1 time a week.
There is also a children's disco - every day the same songs in the heat. After 6 pm, the club does not close, but the children should already be under the supervision of their parents.
As for the cleanliness in the club, in my opinion, it's a little dirty.

The hotel does not pull in 5 stars, old rooms, it is not clear when they are cleaned. Also, for some reason, they wanted to evict us 2 days before the paid deadline. There is a water park, but the slides are old and boring. The beach is nice. The staff only smiles, but if they ask for something, they either forget or do not do it at all. Everything is standard for food, it's good that ice cream is always distributed.
Of the problems at the hotel that we had:
1. The room was cleaned 1 time in 7 days, while checking the box every day to clean the room.
2. They wanted to evict us 2 days earlier, after lengthy proceedings it turned out that there was a malfunction in the system, but the next day we still had our room cards blocked, we had to figure it out again
3. We ordered an extra blanket and brought some old bedspread
4. We ordered 2 additional glasses and 2 mugs - so no one brought it
In general, the hotel has a very poorly organized service for working with guests. I'm not going to this hotel anymore.

I want to leave a review about our trip to the UAE. It will seem to someone that I will tell simple things, but we have not traveled abroad for 5 years and many changes have been "again" for us.
1. Travel agency. We went through the company 1001 tour, Moscow, Mitino. They, in turn, booked through anex.
A tour for 2 adults and 2 children (5, 7 years old) for 8 nights with night flights came out 360 thousand. The tour was taken 3-4 days before departure. Rested from July 18 to July 26.
2. Flight. We flew from Vnukovo to Dubai, flydubai company. Registration was completed in advance (you can complete it 48 hours in advance on their website). We flew to Dubai on an old plane, but the toilet was very comfortable – you could go with a child! The food is specific, insular. It is better for children to take something with them, such as mashed potatoes, fruit .... For example, there were chicken sausages in tomato paste, potato patty in breadcrumbs or vegetables – spinach with rice.
We flew back on a new plane, but the toilet was much smaller. Barely fit))) With food, everything is the same – pasta in tomato paste or rice with vegetables.
but!!! It's extremely fresh at Dubai Airport! And on the way back on the plane it was insanely cold, my children were dressed in 2 pairs of leggings, 2 pairs of sweatshirts. BUT (!) it's like a "promotion" from flight attendants, because they were selling blankets for 100 dirhams (2400 rubles). But after 40 minutes, when many began to be indignant, they made the air conditioners warmer (by the way, it was impossible to turn them off completely).
3. Hotel. We chose for a very long time based on reviews, because we have never been to the UAE. Probably, like everyone else, I will say that their main feature is food! There is ALWAYS something to eat and in any quantity. For example, for breakfast there is always rice porridge, oatmeal, semolina and vegetable soup. Scrambled eggs, scrambled eggs with different fillings, sausages, potatoes, vegetables, salads, etc. There are always 2 soups for lunch – broth/ soup or cream soup. Every day of dinner has its own kitchen in addition to the main one. For example: seafood, Asian cuisine, Turkish, multinational, etc. THE CHOICE is HUGE! There is a children's menu, but the choice is not big: pasta, French fries, semolina porridge, sausages, nuggets. Always vegetables, fruits (there are whole, there are chopped, for example, apples, bananas, oranges, watermelons, papaya, pineapple, pitahaya, rambutan), juices (apple, orange, mango, pineapple, some green, watermelon).
4. Animation at the hotel – the children went to the disco – it's fine! Many children went to a children's club – they liked it. We didn't go.
5. Swimming pools and water park – were in the water park – everything is fine. We didn't go to the pool. But there are a lot of people there!
6. The sea, or rather the bay. FOR ME AND THE CHILDREN, it IS beautiful! Shells of different sizes, mostly crushed, small. We took special slippers with us, but the youngest daughter bathed without them and she was comfortable. In the Persian Gulf, the tide is twice high and low. When the tide is high, of course there are algae – there are not many of them, but there are. In the morning, the water is clear, you can see fish, crabs, stars. Once we even saw a squid on the shore and an igloo fish. But during the day, as on any sandy shore, the sea is muddy. If it confuses you and you want clear water – not here. The children did not get out of the water, because it is 30 degrees in the morning and 40 degrees in the evening! We liked it. We came purposefully to the sea.
7. Room decoration. We had room 2622 – premium. We thought for a long time about taking deluxe or premium. Probably, if someone has 1 child, then you can safely stay in deluxe. And if there are two, then premium is better. The bathroom is huge, but not thought out. It would be better to make additional hangers to hang towels or a second shower))) A separate large toilet with a huge sink. The balcony is huge – for the whole room, there was a table and 4 chairs and 2 sun beds on the balcony. We had an extra bed declared, so there was a large bed, a sofa and an extra bed. We moved the sofa and the extra bed and it turned out like a big one more bed. The room was not cleaned very cool! More precisely, they cleaned well, but it was necessary to remind us about it at the reception, because they never reached us. The regime was – 7 am breakfast, then the sea until 11:30. Then sleep, then lunch at 14:30, the sea, bathe and dinner. If you have thick long hair, I would recommend taking your professional hair dryer, there is one in the room, but it was not enough for us for 3 heads. We asked at the reception, gave a good one.
Of the minuses – the water in the sink was not always drained. And the smell sometimes at night and in the morning from the street ..... I don't know what it is....
8. We had a late departure – at 23:30. The room had to be cleaned at 12! We were thinking of extending the room. If a premium number, then up to 16 hours – 600 dirhams (15,000 rubles), if up to 18 hours, then 800 dirhams. If the room is deluxe, then 400 and 600 dirhams, respectively. We didn't do that. We swam, washed off the salt and changed clothes in the spa salon, taking a shower again there.
9. Transfer. The hotel itself is an hour's drive from the airport. But when we arrived, Anex tour took us to 5 hotels. And for some reason they started taking us from the farthest hotels, respectively, we drove to our hotel for 2 hours! They found out about the individual. Transfer – anex had 180 dollars (16,000 rubles), and from the hotel, if I'm not mistaken, 400 dirhams (9500 rubles).
