Not up to rixos . The hotel is very far from the standards of the real Rixos. Even though there are child-free areas, it is better if you choose another hotel without children. And if with children , then at the age of 4-5 years. Because there is no children's table. And yes, at first they will try to check you into the wrong room that you paid for, but in a worse segment. Every tourist in our visit was faced with this. And as long as you don't start swearing at the reception, you won't be resettled.

The hotel has good food, room cleaning, children's animation, evening program. Otherwise, of course, the hotel does not have enough service for 5*, this is a fact. Upon arrival at the hotel, we faced a queue at the reception to check in. There are a lot of people, the reception staff is not as friendly as possible. There is no waiting room with children, that is, there is no room for a mother and child, we had an accident, we had to wash the child, we had to do it in a regular toilet with a hygienic shower, but this is unrealistic alone. The woman who cleaned there helped us, took a shower, and wished her all the best. And all this in the heat, there's nowhere to hide, all the sofas at the reception are occupied, the noise is uproar, we're after a night flight. I have red eyes, the child screams like a fool, barely rocked in some kind of nook. They don't give you breakfast on the day of arrival either. We ate a roll and drank coffee at the reception. At check-out, they requested a late check-out at 14.00 instead of 12.00 (normal practice for hotels), the child had to sleep at that time. The receptionist said at first, well, you'll come tomorrow morning and we'll check if we can or can't, but we probably can't, we have a full load. I offered to buy out another night to ensure that we could leave our room and get ready in peace, especially since you can't use the hotel's services after 12 o'clock, and it's not clear what to do for a few more hours. A lady came running to this request and very impolitely refused us, she said at 13.00 I will give you a check-out, and before 14 your room category does not provide for a check-out. What's wrong with our room category? The premier room has a sea view. We had to resolve this issue through the tour operator, the manager called back in the evening and made us a check-out before 14.00 without any problems. A strange situation that I would not like to face in a 5* hotel with a big name. And for those who travel across the sea, I do not recommend it. There's a pool here, the water stagnates, foam, mud, algae, even some kind of swimming, and the smell of sewage. Well, the day of our departure came, I went out of the room to talk on the phone, 12.05, I can't get back, the cards from the room are blocked. I didn't knock too hard, the child is sleeping in the room, Went to the bar, for some reason they started asking for the room number, they never asked. They didn't give me a drink, they showed me at 12.10, they said you weren't supposed to, I said, well, write it down on the number, I'm leaving today at 14, I'll pay for the check-out. No, you can't, go to the reception and get some kind of wristband for payment. And at 12:30, I'm writing this review barefoot in the heat at the bar with the cards blocked from the room. 5*? I don't think so

I visited the hotel in the period from 04/25 to 05/22/2025 with my family. Previously, the same team had already rested there. During this period, swimming in the sea was almost like swimming in a pond with stagnant water (smell, vegetation). The change in the shoreline has caused this, and the water is stagnating. I was satisfied with the rest of the hotel, but I will not return there again.

I love this hotel. We've been here 6 times. It's like we're coming home. The only negative this year (we were from 05/21 to 05/28) is that the water in the adult pool is sooooo warm. It became after its renovation. And the umbrellas are new, but wicker, they don't protect you well from the sun. Everything else is fine!, I recommend it.

Nice hotel, nice staff, our room was nice, newly renovated, clean. The territory is large and well maintained. The food is just great, seafood is different, meat, vegetables, fruits, pastries are all very tasty and varied. The beach is white sandy- the approach is smooth, the sea is calm. Bars make delicious cocktails - especially pinocalada came in 😂 Excellent spa complex. The animation is not intrusive, but it is very diverse.

We stayed at Rixos Bab Al Bahr for the third time. I should note right away that we are not meticulous customers, we have no time to find fault with anything, and I have never written negative reviews. But this time, the 4-day Weekend was ruined to the edge. The third and most extreme vacation is here. The hotel has deteriorated very badly. It's not worth the money. This is not the same Rixos that it was 2-3 years ago. If you have an early check-in, you will be checked in only at 15.00, breakfast will not be included. You will need to pay 100 dirhams per person for breakfast. Also, with check-out, at 12.00, check-out from the room and after that time, you will need to pay for everything. Food: very poor for Rixos, fruits, desserts, red fish are not enough for everyone, as the hotel is overcrowded. You won't see any strawberries here at all. Watermelon, pineapple, apples and bananas. The sea feels like you're in a frog house, because there are a lot of people. There are few pools and they are also crowded. That the sea and the pools smell rotten. In bars, ice is made from tap water, so it is not possible to drink more than one drink, especially Sprite, all drinks with ice have a pungent rotten smell and taste. There is no stated hair dryer or bathrobes in the rooms, the reception says that the hotel concept is now on request. On request and with a waiting time of 3-4 hours. On the day of departure, going to the reception, with the question of extending the room for at least 2 hours on a paid basis, we were told that they could not extend anything, there were a lot of visitors. When asked what happened to your hotel, you got so fucked up, 2 years ago you had and now, these are two different pictures. We won't come to you anymore, the reception just shrugged their shoulders and said... "We have a lot of vacationers."

Finally, we waited for this day to write a review about this terrible hotel. It's not Rixos, it's just a name from Rixos. The hotel is worth a C, no more. First of all, there is no sea here, there is a huge puddle that periodically stinks of swamp, after swimming in which flies stick to you, as well as a construction site everywhere (which does not cause as much inconvenience as this hotel) and construction debris all flies into this "nedomore", it is very unpleasant to swim. Since it is a puddle, like a pool, sprinkled with sand on all sides, there is no water circulation in it, there are no waves and the water heats up to 35-36 ° C, it is like a hot bath in which it is impossible to refresh yourself in such a heat of about 40 ° C in the shade. Beach towels are issued torn and sometimes dirty, as if they are more than 10 years old in color. The hotel is not at all for young people, or for families with preschool children, or for pensioners (by the way, about 40% of pensioners)-boredom, not a hotel, but a boarding house - we ate, swam, slept. By the way, about eating, I don't understand people who write that it's delicious to eat here, we only found food on the third day that we can eat more or less, breakfasts are still acceptable, although everything is the same, but you can't think of anything else for breakfast, lunches and dinners are just a nightmare. Also, in the main restaurant, all tables and chairs are wiped with one cloth without antiseptic - complete unsanitary conditions. You can only eat more or less cleanly and deliciously in restaurants in Alaska. Also about unsanitary conditions - in the main bar of Isla, glasses, mugs and the like are NOT WASHED, they just rinse under a stream of water and that's it, you don't want to drink after such a wash, God forbid you pick up something. The furniture in the rooms is all scratched and scuffed, with rust, torn, lamps in multi-layered dust, windows have never been washed (I will attach a photo, I do not like to photograph the cons of the hotel, but I really wanted to, I will also attach white watermelons in the photo, which are impossible to eat), a huge layer of construction dust and sand on the balcony, dry things are nowhere to be found, they were hung on chairs on the balcony, the wind blows, things fall to the balcony floor and become even dirtier, towels are changed only on demand. The Internet is terrible here, it works more or less only in the lobby and in the room, nowhere else. Animation for adults is zero, just nothing, absolutely boring, two animators work from the minute of the beginning to the minute of the end, then the whistle and goodbye. I will not judge children's animation, as I was vacationing without children. Secondly, do not try to take excursions from the Fan san hotel guides. Half of what was promised in the excursions is a lie!!! The tours don't match what the hotel guides tell you, and the prices are too high. I am very sorry for the time and money spent on excursions, which left a lot of negativity.

I'll even say that I'm so disappointed that I'm probably not ready to go to Riksos anymore, and even more so to the UAE. As a result, they painfully agree on a late departure, but at the same time they refuse to feed at least the child. 5 there are no velcoms, dead rooms, no accessories, tired towels, basically everything is tired. I don't recommend it, it's definitely not ultra. 3 stars maximum is not a fact.

We had a rest from 09.10.2025 to 19.10.2025 We arrived in the morning, checked in a little early, that's a plus. Then it started. I ask: where can I eat (at least for a child) the flight was overnight, then the transfer, we haven't eaten since last night. Breakfast is paid, OK, it's not a problem to pay. But 100 dirhams per person is too much for me. We managed to run into the restaurant at the last moment and managed to grab three omelets and juice. OK, but it's not worth it at all. Next, the cleaning is mediocre. We forgot to bring towels and toilet paper several times. But here I want to note that they fix everything quickly. Further. The hotel staff (cleaning, bartenders) are very nice and polite. There are no questions here. Wonderful people. If you have any questions or requests, they will always help. The beach is clean, security is being monitored. We went to Alaska three times (steak twice, steaks once) I didn't like the seafood- it didn't taste good at all. The steak restaurant is great. The service is excellent, the staff is pleasant, the meat is cooked very tasty! Well, the main restaurant deserves a separate story. First of all, I'm not too picky about food, but! It's almost the same thing for 10 days of stay. One or two dishes change and that's it. The rest is the same every day. And not too tasty. The selection of fruits is very small. "Children's menu" is a separate topic 😆fries and nuggets. Secondly: constant queues. For each meal, you stand in line at the entrance to the restaurant for 5-10 minutes. When you're on vacation, you don't want to waste time standing in line. Moreover, the queue is created artificially. Not only are you wearing a bracelet, they also require your room number at the entrance. OK, I did, then they want to escort you to find a place. What for? It feels like there are too many staff and they need to do something, so they lead people around the hall. They justify it by saying that there is a large workload and they themselves distribute who gets where. But it's pointless. Here's the situation: they put a man at the table and the man went to get his own food. At the same time, the table is occupied. Although while some people are choosing what to eat, others would have already eaten and vacated the table. In this regard, it seems that the staff simply creates the appearance of active activity, but in fact: the senseless delay of people at the entrance, the creation of an artificial queue. At the same time, even if you think it's necessary to ask everyone for a room number, put two or three people at the entrance with a tablet, let them let people into the restaurant faster, rather than leading them around the hall in search of a table. I also want to point out that it's very cold in the gym, and our daughter caught a cold and got sick on the third day. That's why we always sat on the veranda, where it was warmer. One day, they tried not to let us into the restaurant, because we wanted to find a place OURSELVES that wasn't under the air conditioner, to which the man at the entrance started stopping me and said that we SHOULDN'T do that! Until I started swearing and saying that the child already has a sore throat after being under the air conditioner, they didn't let us through. In general, the hotel is not bad, but the restaurant spoils the whole impression. The level of the roadside motel, not the Rixos chain, does not justify 5 stars. We've been to different hotels and countries, but it's just a mess here. I'm inserting a photo with a queue (I've covered up people's faces).

We stayed at this hotel 10 years ago, and it got a lot worse. The service and attitude of the staff leaves much to be desired. Fortunately, there are very good and helpful staff who are responsible for everything so far. The food is excellent, although there is no longer as much variety and frills as before. When entering the main restaurant, they constantly ask for the room number and mark something, which is very annoying. In some bars, it's the same story. The sand on the beach is dirty, with a lot of debris. In places, there is earth and an incomprehensible swamp substance in the water underfoot. The water is also not particularly clean, apparently affected by the lack of circulation. In my opinion, the hotel has deteriorated badly and is not suitable for a beach holiday. I don't swim in pools on principle, I can't say anything. There are plenty of them on the territory. The most disgusting service is in the lobby, although this is the face of the hotel. All the guys at the Turkish restaurant are doing great, thank them for that. There is one person working at the reception, there is always a queue for him, I will not write the name. The rest do their best not to be approached, especially by Asians. A huge disappointment in a once wonderful hotel! We will never come to this hotel again! Decide for yourself, but the neighboring hotels are a cut above, for about the same money. They were at the end of June 2025. I forgot to add that the hotel positions itself as an ultra all inclusive. But, unfortunately, you will not be fed anywhere at night! They can only get you drunk) Good, elite alcohol only for money. That is, there is no round-the-clock service using the "ultra" system, and the price is unreasonably high.
